G1 Bumblebee x Cliffjumper
———

"You punched him in the crotch?!"

"Well yeah, if I was taller I'd punch him right on the nose."

"Cliff! This is Prowl we're talking about! We're so dead!"

"No we aren't, follow me."

Bumblebee huffed and reluctantly followed Cliffjumper, constantly looking over his shoulder for any sign of the angry Praxian. The red mech, who was about the same size as him, led him into a storage room and through a maze of stacked boxes of supplies.

Cliffjumper led Bumblebee to the furthest corner of the room, where he crawled into a small opening that only bots his size could fit in. He waited for the yellow mech to come in before speaking again. "I usually hide here when things like this happen. Never been found, never will." He chuckled, leaning against the wall.

Bumblebee relaxed a bit, still glancing at the entrance from time to time. He noticed that Cliffjumper also had a small supply of energon in the tiny space, which was probably for when he was stuck in here for a long time. "Really? I just go to my berthroom and hide under my berth with all my blankets."

"Speaking of blankets..." Cliffjumper grinned, pulling out a nice fuzzy blanket and gesturing for Bumblebee to come over. "C'mon, we might be here a while and it gets cold."

Bumblebee couldn't help but blush a bit as he scooted over to Cliffjumper and snuggled into the blanket. He soon found himself leaning against the red mech, the position being more comfortable than just sitting upright. He wrapped the blanket closely around his frame and rested his cheek against Cliffjumper's shoulder, sighing gently. "Thanks, Cliff.."

"For what?"

"Being nice to me. Actually trying to understand me. I guess we both have stuff in common after all."

Cliffjumper chuckled and wrapped an arm around Bumblebee's shoulders, pulling him closer. "Yeah... besides our height situation." He snickered, rolling his optics a bit.

"Little bots have to stick together!" Bumblebee grinned, really leaning on Cliffjumper now. "And besides the fact that we closely resemble each other's frames. Did you notice that?"

"Well yeah! It was the first thing I noticed!" Cliffjumper laughed, setting his chin on top of Bumblebee's helm. He sighed heavily and stared at the wall for a moment, his bright blue optics glowing softly. "I'm glad we're more than just friends, Bee."

"Me too, Cliff. Me too."
