"No! Branch!" Poppy screamed, reaching down towards him, but he was far out of her reach.

     "AHHHHH!" Branch screamed, tumbling down through the air.

     Suddenly, a spout of water shot out of the river like a geyser, catching Branch, and pushing him back up to the top of the cliff.

     He flew up into the air, falling back down to the ground, finally landing on his stomach, as the water fell back down into the river below.

     "Ow..." Branch groaned, as he held his eyes shut.

     "Branch!" Poppy yelled, running over, and falling to her knees next to him, as she help him sit up. "Branch, are you ok?"

     "Umm... yeah... I think so," he replied, still breathing heavily, as his voice shook. "Th... thanks... for... uh... saving me..." He looked away, shyly.

     "But... but I didn't do that," she admitted. "The water did."

     Branch crawled over to the edge of the cliff, looking down at the river.

     "Umm... thank you?" he called down to it, feeling ridiculous for talking to water.

     But... to his surprise... the water began to move up towards him, in a long, snake like way.

     Branch's eyes widened, as he backed up, scared, the water coming closer, and closer to him.

     "Uh... umm..."

     He scooted backwards, until he backed into a tree.

     The water snake went up to his face, as if looking at him.

     "Woah..." Poppy said, amazed, as she walked over, looking at the water. "Cool."

     "Umm... yeah... so cool," he said, nervously. "Please... go away. Go," he said, trying to shoo the water away, but instead, it plopped itself over him, scooping him up off the ground.

     "Mmm!" Branch mumbled, holding his breath, his entire body now under the water, as it began to take him over the cliff.

     "Branch!" Poppy yelled, whipping he hair forwards to grab onto him.

     It wrapped around his waist, Poppy trying to stand her ground, but the water pulled her along with it, and Branch.

     "AHHHHH!" she screamed, falling off the edge of the cliff.
