"Branch!? Branch, where are you!? Branch!?" Poppy called out, looking for her friend.

     She had lost sight of him, as the wind carried him through the trees, and now she couldn't find him.

     "Branch!?"

     "Poppy!" she suddenly heard from off in the distance. "Poppy, help!"
"Branch!"

     She ran off towards the voice, stopping once she reached the edge of the cliff.

     "Branch!? Where are you!?" she called out, looking around, not seeing him.

     "Down here!"

     Quickly, she looked down, seeing Branch hanging off the cliff, dangling by a small branch coming out of the dirt.

     He looked down, seeing a small river far below him, as he whimpered in fear.

     "Don't worry, Branch!" she yelled down to him. "I'm gonna get you back up here!"

     She whipped her hair down to him, but it wasn't long enough to reach.

     "You need to help!" she called down to him. "Grab my hair with yours!"

     He looked up at her, tears in his eyes.

     "I... I don't know how," he admitted.

     "What!?" Poppy yelled. "What kind of troll doesn't know how to use their hair!? Didn't your family ever teach you..."

     She paused, suddenly remembering what Creek had told her. Branch didn't have a family...

     "Oh..." she said quietly. "It's... it's ok. I'll teach you. Just focus, ok? It's just like moving your arms or legs. Can you do that?"

     Branch nodded, and then concentrated on moving his hair.

     It twitched, beginning to stretch upward, but as it did, the branch he was holding onto began to break.

     "AHHH!" Branch screamed, falling down a bit.

     "Branch!" Poppy yelled.

     He looked down below him again, his teeth chattering, as he began to shake, his heart racing.

     "Branch!" Poppy yelled again. "Focus! Give me your hair!"

     He looked back up at her, and nodded.

     Slowly, his hair stretched out towards hers. They were about to touch, when the branch snapped, sending Branch falling towards the river.

     "No! Branch!"
