Branch's POV

"You know that date I asked you on?"

Poppy blushed and replied with a, "Yes... what about it Branchie?"

I smirked then said, "Did I ever give you permission to call me Branchie?" before tickling her softly and playfully... you know a tickle that was just enough to make someone laugh.

She replied with, "Well, did I give you any permission to tickle me?"

"No, but you seem to be enjoying it..."

She then giggled before saying, between laughing, "St-St-Sto-Stop I-it!"

I stopped and Poppy caught her breath. I looked into her eyes. How could someone so beautiful fall in love with a worthless and what's the word...

Dumb!

Troll like me?

Poppy interrupted. "What about the date?"

I replied, "It's today..."

She said, "Why didn't you tell me earlier? I better go get ready! Meet you at seven!"

"Bye!"

And she left.

5 hours later...

Poppy's POV

Branch is such a sweetie to be setting up a date for us! I love him! I picked out a dark pink dress with sequins and glitter on it. Will he like it? I rushed to his bunker and he opened the door.

"Come in!" he said casually.

He led me outside. We walked to the Troll Tree... WHY DIDN'T HE JUST TELL ME TO MEET AT THE TROLL TREE? While we were walking, I heard Trolls who had saw us... (Well Branch had a tux on and I had a dress on so...)

Satin: Poppy and Branch are dating! I knew they loved each other!

Chenille: That's so cool!

Twins: Super cool!

Biggie: They are dating?!?! Why didn't you tell me! Mr. Dinkles, did you hear that? Poppy and Branch are dating!

Mr. Dinkles: Oh Snap!

Biggie: Did you just talk?

Mr. Dinkles: Mew!

Guy Diamond: Broppy Forever! I am their #1 Fanboy!

???: They are dating? That is preposterous! They better not get too far...

Everyone: Who was that?

???: ...

Everyone: Nevermind

When we made it, Branch turned on the lights. They were sooo pretty. They were like the sunshine bouncing off cute little fairies' wings as they dance.

Branch said, in a British accent, "Queen Poppy, take a seat..."

"Oh Branch, stop i-"

I was interrupted by something touching my lips. He kissed me! I returned the kiss and we pulled away.

"This'll be a date to remember..." I thought.

"Poppy, may we start?"

And with that we started eating.
