~In the bedroom (9:02 pm)~

The phone rang, which Spruce knew who phone it was as he brushed one of his bangs with his right hand.

He answered the phone, smiling. "Hi, honey."

"Hey, honey...." His wife Brandy showed herself on the video, which made Spruce smile from ear to ear. "How are you and your brothers? Are you all having a good time during your BroZone Sleepover?"

"Oh, we're doing.....okay.....actually, not really. Oh, baby, we were watching a scary movie and it was horrifying so far. Good thing you called because that movie got me goosebumps. Scared to the bone. You know what I mean?"

Brandy let out a soft laugh. "Aww, Brucey, you're so funny, though I can totally understand. I don't like scary movies. It's a bit too much for me."

"Aw, that's alright now, that's alright. But enough about me, let's talk about you and all the wonderful things you did today."

Brandy held onto her cheek and smiled. "Aw, you. Everything went good for me and the kids. We spent the evening at the beach—oh, hi sweetie."

"Is that daddy, mommy? Hi, daddy."

Spruce laughed and immediately waved at his only daughter and soon enough he heard more from the rest of their kids. They were waving and talking all at once, saying "Hey Daddy," and "Guess what I did, Daddy?" and "I want to talk to Daddy!" and "How are you, Daddy?" and on and on his kids kept the multiple conversations going.

Being patient, Spruce took the time to speak to his thirteen kids, saying, "Hey sweetie again, hey son," and "That's great!" and "I'm here....hi," and "Daddy is doing okay."

While he was talking to his family, Spruce watched Branch grabbed his ringing phone, answering it.

Branch smiled. "Hey, Popifur......."

Branch's smile turned into a sudden frown. "What's wrong, Popifur...........what..........you did.............a scary movie..........you know how you feel about those.........you want me to come over there......but Popifur, this is serious......are you sure........huh......"

Clay came into the living room holding out his phone as a sudden girly scream came out from it.

Clay frowned. "Bros, how do you calm down a screaming girlfriend who has just seen a scary doll movie?"

On speaker, Viva screamed at the top of her lungs.

"What's up with almost everyone watching scary movies?" John Dory asked.

They all blinked at each other. Spruce was going to give out a suggestion, but Viva's screams startled him. Viva stopped screaming and talked for a mile away, which Spruce couldn't keep up with while Clay took it all in.

Viva wailed. "BROCCOLI BABE!!! I'M SCARED!!!!"

Clay tried to calm his girlfriend down. "Baby, I know, it's okay.....it's okay...."

John Dory got off the couch. "I'm going to check on Floyd."

Brandy frowned at her husband. "Is everyone going to be alright?"

Spruce shrugged. "I have no idea, hon. I'm still trying to get my mind back together after seeing that horrifying part of that scary movie."

One of his sons, who had blue skin and purple hair came towards Brandy, smiling at his daddy. Spruce waved at his three-year-old son.

"Daddy.....are you scared?"

Spruce couldn't help, but to be sincere. "Yes, son, but daddy's going to be okay."

His son came close to the camera. "Have you tried singing, Daddy? When I'm scared, you and mommy sing songs to me. It makes me feel better."

The way his three-year-old son spoke to him had melted Spruce immediately. He found it adorable that he was getting advice from one of his sons.

"Singing. What a wonderful idea. Thank you." Spruce faced Branch and Clay. "Bros, how about we sing a song. I'm pretty sure that it will make everyone feel better."

Branch nodded. "Here that, Pops.....okay, I'm going to video call you."

Clay put his phone near his ear. "Video call me, babe because we will be singing a song."

John Dory's voiced echoed from the bedroom. "Great idea, but what song should we sing? Any suggestions?"

His daughter, Labreezey, had her hand in the air. "Daddy, daddy! You should sing "Tomorrow". The one from the Annie movie."

His children cheered, pleading their daddy and their uncles to sing that song.

"Oh, I remember that song," Branch said.

"Me too," John Dory chimed in.

"It's a lovely song," Floyd's voiced echoed from the bathroom.

Viva and Poppy squealed. "We both grew up with that song."

"Ooh, do you bros remember that we sang that song together during our first BroZone Sleepover years ago?" Floyd mentioned.

Clay nodded. "Yup, I remember."

"You did?" Brandy asked.

Spruce nodded. "Yes. It happened after we went to bed and then woke up in the middle of the night...."

~Flashback~

We woke up screaming in the middle of the night. Baby Branch was crying, John Dory was breathing hard, Clay hid under his green blanket, and Floyd had to go poop and rushed to the bathroom.

It took us six minutes to calm ourselves down. Afterwards, we each talked about our nightmares.....

Spruce held onto his pillow. "I had a nightmare where I was lost out in the middle of the ocean. I lost my surfboard and the ocean was trying to kill me!"

Clay came out of his green blanket, wrapping himself in it. "I had a nightmare that I was humiliated in front of a crowd because...because....I ripped my pants while doing a split and my underwear showed and fans took pictures of it."

John Dory nodded and faced Spruce and Clay. "I had a nightmare that I lost the two of you somewhere colorful, loud, and crowded."

Floyd's voice trembled. "M-M-My nightmare was that I was being chased by a lion and it jumped near me and I screamed, everything went black and I screamed."

Baby Branch wailed. "I had a nightmare about losing my brothers in a maze and I never saw them again. WAAAAAAAAAA!"

Floyd picked up and hugged Baby Branch. "It's okay, Baby Branch. Ssshhhh....it's okay......sshhhh..........."

We didn't want to go back to bed, fearing our nightmares would come back to haunt us.

Our grandmother came into the room to comfort and hugged us and started to sing.

"It was all thanks to our grandma that we were able to go to bed, knowing that we were safe." Spruce sniffled.

Poppy, who was on Branch's phone on video call awwed. Viva did too on Clay's phone.

Brandy smiled. "That's so sweet, hon."

Spruce's voice trembled. "Yes. Oh, do I miss her so much."

Spruce tried not to cry in front of his wife, especially his kids, but he couldn't as tears rolled down his cheeks. Brandy and her children frowned. He apologized to his wife and kids for them to see him like this. 

Floyd, who came out from the bathroom, hugged Spruce. John Dory, Clay, and Branch joined them. They all did miss their Grandma Rosiepuff dearly.

Brandy looked at her husband, let out a warm smile and started to sing.

Spruce sang the last verse.

While singing this, he spun around with his long, purple hair moving smoothly with him and did a pose at the end. 

His children and wife clapped and cheered, Viva and Poppy squealed, and his brothers hugged Spruce as they did a group hug.

"You were all amazing," Brandy said. "And it was so nice to talk to you, honey. You and the boys have a great rest of the night on your BroZone sleepover."

"Aww, thanks, and don't worry, I'll make sure to make as much time to spend time with you and the kids," Spruce winked at his wife.

"Oh, I understand. But this is the night with your brothers. Take as much time as you need. We love you."

"Goodnight! We love you, Daddy," their children said in unison.

Spruce blew kisses at his kids and his wife. "Aww, I love you all so much. Alright, talk to you all soon. Goodnight. Bye."

After saying goodbye to Poppy and Viva too, the BroZone brothers ended up watching "The Lorax" while having their snack. They enjoyed it a lot better than the scary, lion movie.

Nobody was doing anything fun. Instead, they were lying on the floor............on their phones and finishing up their snacks.

"I can't believe we've been on our phones the whole time," Branch said.

"Mhm...." Spruce took a selfie.

John Dory sighed. "Yup. And I'm still eating my snack."

Clay complained. "I'm So BoReD!!"

Floyd sighed. "Are we going to be doing anything besides being on our phones?"

To Spruce, Floyd was right. Nobody was doing anything fun, but being on their phones, which they had been doing this for the past ten minutes. Spruce looked over at his brothers from his phone to his backpack. By looking at his backpack, a sudden realization came to him.

"Oh my gosh, I totally forgot to bring this out." Spruce went into his backpack and brought two boxes with one box labeled "TRUTH" and the other labeled "DARE" on it. He also brought a spinner out. "You guys want to play Truth or Dare?"
