Josie gasps as she jerks awake. How long has she been down here? Hours maybe. She tried so hard to get the cell open, but, it was too strong and she felt so weak. She was tired and sore. She slowly gets up into a sitting position and looks around again. She sighs and looks over to the cell door....to her surprise...it was open. She carefully gets up and walks out of the cell and into a dark tunnel. She calls the fire and her hand burned dimly. Just enough to help her see. She drags her other hand on the wall to help her not fall. Her body was so sore. She needed to find Scott. Was he alright? What did Kate do with him? As she was coming to a corner, she stops when she sees a berserker coming her way. She gasps and tries to run the other way, but another catches her and slams her to the wall, holding her up in the air and slams her again and again against the wall till she could barely move. The dim light that came around the corners shined barely over the berserker's body and Josie noticed something. The berserker had a tattoo, like Scott's. She gasps softly and look into the Berserker's eyes. Such familiar eyes. Puppy chocolate brown eyes. Scott's eyes.

"Scott?" She whispers.

Scott drops her to the floor and moves to get into a submissive stand as Kate comes around a corner.

Josie looks up in shock, what happened to her Scott?

"I'm going to have to do a better job of covering that up." Kate says as she brushes past Scott, touching his tattoo.

"What did you do to him?" Josie growls at her.

"How. That's That's the better story." Kate circles Josie while telling her everything. Josie tries hard to keep her eyes on Kate's lips. "You see, when I first got away from the Calaveras, I had no idea where to go. But something kept pulling me here, to the temple of Tezcatlipoca. His name means "smoking mirror" and this place is a temple of the smoking mirror. Obsidian. When I got here, I found the Berserkers waiting for me. They helped me survive. I didn't know quite why until just recently. Until I decided to trust someone I never thought I'd trust. It was then that I found out I could not only control the Berserkers, but I could create them. They call me La Loba. "The Bone Woman." We let you out because I needed to test his loyalty. You already know that Scott became an Alpha without having to kill anyone.  He's been through quite a lot without ever having to kill.  I think it's time to change that." Kate chuckles at Josie's terrified look. "Don't worry, sweetie. He's not going to kill you. You're a promise to someone. He's not gonna like the bruises I left, but you'll heal...in time." Kate kneels down and grips Josie's hair and looks at her mate's mark. She smirks as she sees it begin to fade a little. She forces Josie to look back at her, "Won't be long now till your mark is completely gone and you will feel nothing for Scott McCall. As soon as he makes the first kill, the bond will disappear." She smirks.

Josie's eyes widen in fear, her bond for Scott...gone?

"Take her back to her cell." Kate gets up and Scott moves to grab Josie roughly.

"No, Scott! Please! Please! It's me! Josie! Please, Scott!" Josie screams and thrashes in Scott's rough grip as he drags her back to the cell and throws her against the bones.

"You're not going to Mexico." Sheriff slams his office door and faces Stiles.

"Dad, Scott and Josie have been kidnapped and taken to Mexico. Okay? I think that's a pretty good reason for a trip to Mexico."

Sheriff inhales sharply and goes over to lean on his desk, looking at him, "Okay. Even if Deaton is right about this..."

Stiles nods, "Yeah."

"The best thing to do is to go through the proper channels." Sheriff says.

"Dad..." Stiles protests but Sheriff cuts him off.

"That means calling the right law enforcement agencies, border patrol, putting out an all-points."  Sheriff says.

"Dad, I can't just wait around for the wheels of bureaucracy to start spinning in five different government offices.  Okay? Someone needs to go down there right now, find them and rescue them.  I'm going."  Stiles states.

Sheriff stands up straight in surprise with Stiles' tone, "I can keep you from going."

"I'd find a way."

"I can throw you in a cell."

"I'd still find a way."

Sheriff sighs deeply, annoyed with how right Stiles is, "Stiles, please.  Just give me a little more time to verify something slightly more  concrete than a psychic vision by some guy with a third eye!  Look, I  will call every law enforcement agency all the way down to South America  if I have to.  If nothing turns up, then I'll book two flights to Mexico.  We'll both go.  Okay?"

"Okay, okay, great.  Do I get a gun?"

Sheriff scoffs, "No."

Derek leans on the table, watching Braedon load up the guns, getting ready for the fight in Mexico.

Sighing deeply, "I still don't like relying on these things." He says.

"I get it.  You miss your power.  I would, too."  She says.

"It's not about power, it's about being able to help.  I don't like feeling helpless."

She scoffs, "I'm human.  Do I look helpless?"  She cocks a gun.

"You're a much better shot than me."  He smirks.

Braedon eyes Derek carefully, "Do you really think you won't be coming back?"

He shakes his head, "Not alive."

She moves to stand closer to him, fear in her eyes, "You know I'm not okay with that."

He sees the fear she carried for him, she cared about him, he knew it.  He pulls her closer and kisses her softly and deeply.  He slowly breaks the kiss, sighing against her lips.

"I am."  He says.

Braedon frowns at him in disbelief.

"If it saves Scott and Josie."  He adds.  He lets her go and turns back tot he guns, "But to be honest, I don't even know if this is enough firepower to take down one Berserker."

"Not even close."  Peter titters and comes down the stairs.  "Killing a Berserker is next to impossible.  It's not just the firepower, it's breaking the animal spirit from the human."

"Well, the one person we know with that kind of experience is Argent.  And he's not getting back to me."  Derek says sarcastically.

"Well, then you're going to need help.  Like Malia, maybe Liam.  Definitely me."  Peter smirks.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Meanwhile,  Stiles tore through Scott's closet to find something for Malia to catch his scent.  Anything.  He grabs a shirt and tosses it to her,
"Here, try that."
She takes a deep breath but to her disappointment, "Fabric softener."  She says.
Stiles had an idea so he raided the dirty hamper and grabs a pair of Scott's boxers.  Malia scrunches her face in disgust.
"Remember, Scott's life is on the line."  He holds them out but Malia backs away and looks around his room.  She grabs his pillow and breaths in.  She's got a scent.
"Yeah.  That works, too."  He stutters and throws the boxers away.
The two of them pace down the stairs, Malia carrying the pillowcase.  They run into Liam in the kitchen.
"Oh! Liam, go home.  You're not coming with us."  Stiles protests.
"Why not?"  Liam scoffs.
"Because it's a full moon.  And I don't feel like driving all the way down to Mexico just to have you rip my throat out."Stiles says.
"You can lock me up, right? Chain me down to the back seat or something?"
"You tore through the last chains, remember?"  Malia says.
"Yeah, we would have to freeze you in carbonite to get you down there."  Stiles says sarcastically.
"Okay, then where do we get carbonite?"
Malia and Stiles frown at him, "Seriously, you haven't seen it either?" Stiles asks, incredulous.
Stiles waves it off and walks away with Malia but, Liam stops them, "Wait! What if we put me in the trunk?"
"You'd get out of that, too."  Malia points out.
"Liam, you've been a werewolf all of five minutes.  You don't have to do this."  Stiles says.
"I know I don't, but I want to.  There's gotta be bigger chains, a bigger trunk or something."  Liam suggests.  "There has to be."
That gave Stiles an idea, "Maybe there is."  He says.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

So Stiles calls up Braedon for help.  They wait for her in a warehouse, leaving Stiles' jeep.  Braedon arrives with a transport van.

"How did you get a prison transport van?"  He asks.

"I'm a U.S. Marshal."  She says.

"Yeah, I just thought that was just a cover."  Stiles asks.

She smirks and looks over to Derek who was getting out of the van.

"Are we really bringing him?"  Derek asks, motioning to Liam.

"Are we really bringing him?" Stiles scoffs, motioning to Peter.

"We're bringing everyone that we can.  And considering Scott and Josie were taken the night before a full moon, we should probably get going."  Peter says.

"What's that mean?" Malia asks.

"If Kate took Scott back to the same temple that she took Derek, how do we know she's not planning to do the same thing to him?"  Peter points out.

"What, she wants to make him younger?"  Liam asks.

"Or take him back to when he wasn't a werewolf."  Derek suggests.

"A werewolf can't steal a true Alpha's power.  But maybe a Nagual jaguar, with the power of Tezcatlipoca behind her...Maybe she can.  So, if everyone is sufficiently freaked out, I say we get going."  Peter says.

"We can't.  Not without Lydia."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
At the high school, Lydia goes to Josie's locker and and opens it.  Inside were books, pictures and Josie's jacket.  She grabs her jacket and breathes it in.  She could smell Josie's sweet perfume.
"I hope this works."  Lydia whispers.
Suddenly, Lydia hears low growling coming from behind her.  She quickly ducks and a large fist smashes into the locker.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Stiles paces back and forth, dialing Lydia's number on his cell.  He couldn't get a hold of Lydia and that was worrying him.

"What's she doing at the school anyway?" Derek asks.

"We needed something with a stronger scent for Josie.  Josie's mom did all of her laundry and we couldn't find anything with a scent.  Lydia went to get a jacket out of her locker."

Stiles paces towards them, "Nothing."

"If she has a car, she can catch up to us."  Braedon says.

Peter points at her, approving her suggestion, "That's a good point.  We'll call her from the road."

"No.  What if something happened? What if she's in trouble?"

Peter sighs, frustrated.  He didn't have time for this! "Fine.  You stay, you find her.  We're gonna go on without you."  Peter goes to the van and gets in.

"I could call Mason.  He has a study group at school.  Maybe he could look for her."  Liam suggests.

Derek shrugs, approving the idea.

Stiles sighs, defeated, "All right.  Fine."  Everyone gets into the van but Stiles stops Malia.  "I need to be back there with Derek and Liam.  I've got some experience dealing with out-of-control teen wolves.  You'll be okay riding with Peter?"  He asks.

She shrugs, "He is my father.  Maybe we could do some bonding."  She says sarcastically.

"No."  Stiles shakes his head.  "No bonding.  Play the radio, play it loud."

Malia nods, smiling a little.

"Remember what we're dealing with.  It's not just Kate, it's Berserkers."  Peter slips on a jacket.  "You might see human eyes behind those skulls.  Do not assume that there's any humanity left."  He smirks as he sees Liam's unsure face. "Oh.  This little one is terrified of them, aren't you? Don't worry, my friend.  It is that fear that will keep you alive.  A reminder to everyone.  You do not fight Berserkers to survive, you fight to kill."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Deep in the caverns, Scott roams the caves, growling lowly and brushing his claws against the dirt walls.  Josie leans on the cell door, weeping softly for her lost love.  She could feel the mark burning on her neck as it slowly fades against her skin.  She hopes and pray someone will come and save them.  She would break out, but she couldn't risk it...not without hurting Scott.
"Scott." She whimpers.
