Title--- Duke's Family

Question--- What happened to Duke's family?

Answer--- He was separated from them.

Evidence--- His flashback

Theory--- Duke was born on the streets of Brooklyn by two mutts. Whether he had siblings or not, it is unclear. Back to the subject, I believe he was born behind a pet store. One day, his mother was probably looking for food or something when someone found Duke. That person was possibly thinking that if the puppy was placed in the pound, he might not get adopted so they brought him into the pet store. And then cue the flashback.
