*A few days later*

[Although Gauri's wound wasn't completely healed, she was allowed to walk around like before. Thankfully, she didn't need the help of nurses or of Om. She could do things by herself.

Despite that, the doctors had forbidden her to work for 2 weeks, so she was home bound, and quite bored too. However, Gauri forced Om to start working, and seemingly enough, he started going back to work.

The house seemed empty, and Gauri was bored. She missed working with children at the orphanage. They had given her a new meaning in life. But here she was, loitering around the Oberoi mansion, thinking of what to do.

Maybe God heard her prayers too soon because almost immediately, she was startled by a loud phone call. She picked up the phone and heard Om's voice.

It was Om.]

Gauri: Ji, Boliye

Om: (Panicked) Gauri, Jaldi Doctor ko ghar bulao, please!

Gauri: (Scared) Ka hua! Aap itne ghabraye hue kyun lag rahe hai?

Om: (Panicked) Ghar aakar bataunga, filhaal tum please doctor ko ghar bulao!

Gauri: Ji, bulaate hai!

[Panicked Gauri immediately called the doctor home and her mind began imagining awful things.]

Gauri: (To herself) Hey sankarji! Ka hua hai? Sab theek kar dijiye!

[A few minutes later, Om and Shivaay arrived, carrying a heavily wounded Rudra in their arms. His face was brutally bashed up and his arms had knife marks all over them. Instantly, Gauri knew who was behind this.]

Gauri: (Terrified, running towards Rudra) Hey bhagwaan! Ee Sab kaise hua?

Shivaay: (Angry) Uday Thakur! Uske saare aadmi jail mein Hai, phir bhi pata nahi woh nikamma kaam kaise karta hai!

[Gauri helps Shivaay and Om carry Rudra to his room, where the doctor was waiting. Soon enough, Jhanvi, Dadi and Anika surround the room. Gauri, unable to control her emotions bursts into tears.

All this was happening because of her.

She went on her knees and folded her hands, begging for forgiveness.]

Gauri: (Crying) Hume Maaf kijiye Rudy bhaiyya! Hume Maaf kijiye! Ee Sab humaari wajah se hua Hai! Sab kuch humaari galti hai, Hume Maaf kijiye! Hum Aapko bata nahi sakte hume kitni sharm ho rahi Hai! Yahaan aap logo par lagatar atyaachar ho raha Hai, aur hum maharani ki tarah reh rahe Hai! Hume Maaf kijiye Rudy bhaiyya!

Rudra: Bhabhi, bhai hone ke naate mera farz banta Hai ki main Aapko protect karoon. Waise bhi, yeh muscles kab kaam aayenge?

Gauri: (To Shivaay) Shivaay bhaiyya, aap dekh chuke Hai na Uday Thakur ka kaam? Pehle Omkara ji par hamla kiya, phir unn par gori chalaane ki koshish ki, aur Rudy bhaiyya ke saath yeh...Woh bahut khatarnaak log Hai! Jab tak hum iss ghar mein Hai, tab tak koi surakshit nahi Hai!

Shivaay: Uday Thakur ne bhi Shivaay Singh Oberoi ka kaam nahi dekha Hai! Tum iss parivaar ka hissa ho, aur tum kahi nahi jaaogi! That's final!

Gauri: (Crying) Bhaiyya aap---

Dadi: Gauri puttar, apne aap ko dosh dena band kar! Uss Uday Thakur ko bhagwaan nahi chorega! Jao, Aaraam karo, warna tumhaari tabiyat aur kharab ho jaayegi! Om, lekar ja usse

Om: (Walking with Gauri) Chalo

[As Om walked with Gauri to her room, she couldn't help but continuously cry in anger and frustration.]

*In their room* (Note: Gauri and Om share the same room now ;))

[Gauri, unable to control her emotions, collapsed on the bed. Om rushed to her side, trying to figure out what happened, but Gauri pushed him and walked away from him.]

Gauri: Agar hum aap se kuch maangenge, toh ka aap Hume doge?

Om: Haan bolo, Kya chahiye

Gauri: (Sternly) Talaakh

Om: (Turning Gauri's back) Excuse me?

Gauri: (Frustrated) Aap Hume talaakh de dijiye, hum aapse vinti kar rahe Hai! Hume talaakh de dijiye!

Om: (Angry) Kya ho gaya Hai Tumhe? Aisi baat bhi mat karna!

Gauri: Aap dil se soch rahe Hai, dimaag se nahi!

Om: Gauri, please yeh bakwaas band karo.

Gauri: Aap toh humaari baat Sunna hi nahi chaahte! Woh iss parivaar ko chain se jeene nahi dega!

Om: (Holding her wrist) Saath chorne ke liye haath nahi pakda tha, Gauri

Gauri: (Afraid) Hum itne bhi khudgarz nahi hai ki apne aap ko bachaane ke liye dusro ki qurbaani karoon!

Om: Gauri, Hum Uday Thakur ka saamna ek saath karenge, humne decide kiya tha na?

[Almost immediately, Gauri turned and wrapped her arms around Om and hugged him tight, before crying erratically.

She was so fed up of this.]

Gauri: (Crying on Om's chest) Thak gaye hai hum! Pata nahi iss raakshas se chutkaara milega Hume! Humaari wajah se aaj iss parivaar ko itna dard sehna pad raha hai! Nahi bardaasht kar sakte yeh Sab!

Om: (Consoling her) Accha, shaant ho jaao. Kuch nahi hua, Gauri. Woh kameena zyaada din Bach nahi paayega

Gauri: (Crying) P-pata nahi Omkaraji, hume kuch samajh nahi aa raha

Om: (Giving her water) Accha bas, pani pi lo

[As Gauri drank water and calmed down, her eyes wandered around the room and she saw a suitcase and clothes strewn around it.]

Gauri: (Confused) Ee ka hai? Ee bag yahaan par?

Om: Arre haan, main bhool gaya, Kal subah mein delhi jaa raha hoon, 2 din ke liye

Gauri: Delhi? Kis liye?

Om: Kaam ke silsile mein jaa raha hoon, 2 din mein aa jaaonga

Gauri: (Getting up) Accha toh hum aapke kapde pack kar dete hai--

Om: (Stopping her) Koi zaroorat nahi hai, main apna kaam khud kar sakta hoon

Gauri: (Arranging his clothes) Uff, bahut ho gaya aapka. Hume woh moje dijiye, hum rakh lete hai

Om: (Handing socks to her) Accha, tum mujhe miss karogi?

Gauri: Hum? Nahi toh! Balki hum 4 mahine ke baad chain ki saas le paayenge! 2 din ke liye Aapko sehna nahi padega!

Om: (Holding her hand and pulling her close) Accha? Tumhara chehra kuch aur bata raha hai!

Gauri: (Shy) Ee aap k-ka kar rahe Hai? Haath choriye, hume kaam hai

Om: Toh miss karogi?

Gauri: (Letting go of his hand) Nahi! Aap jaayien, Rudy bhaiyya ka khyaal rakhiye!

Om: (Leaving) Accha ja raha hoon, ja raha hoon!

*Om leaves*

Gauri: (To herself) Pata nahi khud ko ka samajhte hai? Hum aur unhe miss karenge? 2 din ke liye uss khadoos ki shakal nahi dekhni padegi, shukr hai!

[Never did Gauri ever think that her heart would accept Om. She couldn't even imagine breathing the same air as him, let alone share a room!

Gauri had found an unbreakable support system in Om. Despite the difficulties the family had to face, he wouldn't let go off her and he promised to be by her side, always. Gauri knew that if she had Om by her side, she could overcome anything and everything.

Fate did wonders and brought them incredibly close to one another.
So close that now they couldn't possibly imagine life without each other in it.
Neither would admit it, but Om and Gauri knew they needed each other.
