Charlie is currently attempting to start recording on his camera, trying rather unsuccessfully to push the record button.

Charlie: "God damn it, is that piece of crap even working?"

The Camera: Recording mode activated.

Charlie: "Oh, never mind, it actually works."

Charlie: "Uh, hey there, Nicehill's readers. This is the beginning of the blog time, and I'm the first person starting this series.

Honestly, I feel like punching the author's face because she just threw me into this without explaining anything at all."

Charlie reads through the comments looking for anything useful when he comes across a particular comment.

Charlie: "Hm... This comment here asks 'How to make Victor stay away from work?'. Heh, I didn't know that anyone else knew about my best friend, he certainly is very famous for his workaholic tendencies. But it's certainly an interesting question."

Charlie: "So here's the thing. Victor is literally the definition of a workaholic and a workhorse, barely ever leaving his office even if he is on the brink of starvation or another form of physical distress. But I happen to know a plan that could possibly assist us in convincing him to take a break for around two or three days."

Charlie: "But here's the catch. You need to possess some sort of existing relationship with Victor beforehand, otherwise you won't be able to convince him to take a break. The level of closeness should at the very least be comparable to the one I share with him, or perhaps even at a slightly lower status. However, it is imperative to establish some sort of connection beforehand in order for your plan to even have a chance at succeeding."

Charlie: "You know, whenever I typically want him to stop working, I usually just ask him to hang out with me. And you're probably like, 'But wouldn't he prefer to focus purely on his work rather than abandon it to spend time with you?' Well, surprisingly enough, the answer is a resounding 'Yes'!"

Charlie: "I can guarantee you that he would abandon his job in favor of spending time with me. Just think about it. I mean, how can he possibly decline me when it comes to something like this, huh?"

whisper

"I'll slaughter him if he dares decline, of course...."

Charlie: "If you prefer a more hands-on, active, and forceful approach, I can propose a different plan. All you need to do is simply shut down all the power in his office. What's he gonna do about it? Not much, obviously. As you said, the power will return in a few hours, meaning that he'll only be unable to work for such a limited duration of time. However, it should be enough to make him stop working for a certain while..."

Charlie: "But if you happen to be one of those particularly forceful and persistent individuals, like myself, I suppose you could also opt for a more aggressive and potent plan. Specifically, I could try giving him some food laden with a potent sleep-inducing substance during the mid-day lunch break. Then, I'll transport him back to his home where he'll hopefully remain unconscious until the sleep effect finally wears off.

Of course, this method is a bit extreme for most people. But hey, I'll do whatever it takes to get him to relax, right?"

Charlie: "So, here it is, readers. My final answer to that one question: How to make Victor stay away from his work. Turns out it's quite simple. All you have to do is establish a closer relationship with him or resort to more forceful measures, such as cutting off the power to his office or even spiking his lunch with sleep-inducing substances.

Well, I suppose that is all there is to talk about in this short little blog, so I'll be taking my leave now. Goodbye, readers, and hopefully, we'll never meet again."
