A "Healing A Broken Amber" Short Story/A Two-Part Story

The Christmas party was incredible. Sure I had so much fun with Jason in 'Evermere' but I had even more fun with Jay in real life!

I was about to cry when I realized that the Christmas party was almost over.

"I don't want to go home," Jay pouted while I let out a small giggle, ruffling his soft hair.

"Me too," I admitted but in a more mature-like way.

Meanwhile, Lara sat in a nearby chair to the right and I thought she looked at me in a mischievous like way. To our left, Jen was urgently whispering to Connor and were both glancing at us in that same mischievous way. 

I was starting to get nervous. Whatever they were planning didn't look good.

"All part of the plan."

I remembered Jen telling me that when we were driving towards the mall.

After a couple of minutes, we were the only ones left at the party. Connor finally announced that we had to go and Jen didn't seem like she wanted to stay as well.

"I can give Jennifer a ride home," Jay offered.

Connor glared at him, "That is not-OW!"

Jen suddenly kicked him in the shin, making him yelp, "That's perfect! Right Connor?"

Jen glared at Connor with a look that said, 'You better agree or I will kill you in your dreams.'

"Right," Connor squeaked, still in pain.

I smiled as I grab Jay's hand. We started walking out the living room when Lara yelled, "Stop!"

We both turned and looked at her in confusion but all three of them were grinning at them mischievously.

"Why are you guys staring at us like that?" Jay asked nervously.

Jen pointed to something above our heads and as I follow where she pointed, I saw what looked like a bunch of leaves. When I looked at it more closely, I then realized that it was a mistletoe. That's when my whole body went completely rigid when I realized what that meant.

"So, you guys gonna do it or back down like chickens?" Jen teased and that's when she had just pushed us into a position where we had to either do it or lose our pride.

I was the first to break out from my rigid posture as I glance nervously at Jay who was literally not breathing from shock.

Knowing that he's probably not going to make the first move, I faced him fully, grabbed a fistful of his shirt and planted my lips on his. 

(A/N: I noticed that this is what you always describe kissing when your characters are kissing RiceItsSelf)

I felt him freeze from the action but after a couple of seconds, he relaxed and kissed me back, wrapping his arms around me. I smile and wrapped my arms around his neck, feeling even much warmer despite the freezing, cold night outside.

"Jaynifer has sailed!" Lara squealed.

"That doesn't sound any different from Jennifer," Jen added, "So i'm shipping them as Jamber!"

"Get a room you two," Connor grumbled, "Actually, just break it up."

"No way," Jen exclaimed, "I'm so going to get over a million views in YouTube."

That made both of us pull away to find Jen taking a video with her i-phone. After I threatened her to not talk to her for the rest of the year, I finally got her to delete it.

"Anyways, let's go now," Jen announced. 

Lara and Connor started moving out as well until Jen burst out laughing. They looked at her in confusion before Jen took out the i-phone once more.

"Here's the next ship, Conara!" 

They both glanced up, finding the mistletoe as they both exclaimed, "Wait, what?!"
