Savannah's P.O.V.

"There might be an assassin at the bonfire for Beacon Hills High tonight." I explained to my pack as we all sat down in the living room. I had Theo in my lap and he was sleeping. He was getting big and more adorable than ever. "We need to go to the bonfire. Although, it's obvious that Scott will be there." Hannah said.

"I know he may not forgive you for what you did, but what other choice do we have? There could be other supernatural creatures at the bonfire." Robbie told us. "Okay. Me, Malia, Andrew, and Shawn will be at the bonfire. I'll ask Brett if he wants to come. The rest of you split into two groups of three to hunt down any assassins." I told my pack. They all nodded. "Remember, guys. We have to be careful. One wrong move could be the end for us." I reminded then.

"We can take them down." Malia said, her eyes flashing blue. Soon, everybody else's eyes flashed to their supernatural color. I smiled as I flashed my eyes, but this time, they were no longer the cold, steel blue color that showed I was a killer. The eyes that I found both beautiful, but evil. No. They were the vibrant, fiery red color that showed I was a leader. The eyes that signified bravery and leadership. "Well, you're officially Alpha." Hannah smiled.

"And I will lead my pack until the time comes that I can no longer be one."

The bonfire was a wild party. Teens were getting drunk, couples making out, people dancing, etc. However, I had to keep an eye out. Malia was dancing trying to get drunk and Shawn was with her trying to keep an eye out. I was walking with Andrew, hoping to find an assassin to eliminate them. It was then I felt arms wrap around me. I looked and saw Brett there. I smiled as I wrapped my arms around him. "Hey, Babe." he greeted. "Hey." I said.

"Want to dance?" he asked me. I looked at Andrew. "I'll go and be on the lookout." he told me. I nodded as he walked off. I looked at Brett and smiled at him. He grabbed my hand and pulled me to where the rest of the teenagers were dancing. "Just blend in so the assassins won't suspect anything." he explained. I nodded as I wrapped an arm around him.

He wrapped his around me as we kissed. It soon turned into a make-out session as the music's rhythm increased. As we grinded against each other, he kissed from my jawline down to my neck. I moaned as I tugged at his hair. His hands slid up and down my hips. He moved his head and began kissing me again. I slipped my tongue into his mouth and he let out a growl as we fought for dominance. Eventually, he won.

I pulled away as I heard Shawn howling. Not just any howl. It sounded like a howl of help. "Brett. Shawn's in trouble. We have to find Malia and Andrew." I explained. He nodded and we began walking, trying to find them. It was then I felt ringing in my ears. My vision began to get blurry. I couldn't hear anything but the loud ringing.

All I could see before I blacked out were five figures. Then, nothing.

I woke up with somebody shaking me. I looked and saw Malia, Shawn, and Andrew as well as Brett. I noticed that all of us were soaked in gasoline. "What the hell happened?" I asked as I held my head. "The music is what made us not ourselves. The DJ was an assassin. They were about to set us, Scott, and Liam all on fire, but Derek and Braeden stopped them. Mason unplugged the music. The bonfire is done and now we're okay. Scott, Liam, and Mason left." Malia explained.

I nodded as I tried to get up, but almost fell. Brett caught me as I regained my composure. "You okay?" he asked me. I nodded my head, giving him a weak smile. "Yeah, Baby. I'll be okay." I reassured him. He wrapped an arm around me as I saw Derek and Braeden. "Thank you, guys. For saving us." I thanked them. Braeden nodded as Derek sent me a soft smile. "We're family. It's what we do." he replied.

"Thanks, Cuz." I said.

"Come here." he told me as he opened his arms. I walked to him and wrapped my arms around his waist. He hugged me back as he stroked my hair. "I can't believe I have two cousins I didn't know about." he said. I pulled away a little bit and gestured for Malia. She came over and hugged us both.

We stayed like that for a while until we pulled away.

"You aren't safe. How about you two stay with me?" Derek asked us. "I live with my, I guess, adoptive father at the moment." Malia explained. "That's fine. What about you, Savannah?" he asked me. I smiled and nodded. "I'd love to. As long as that bastard of a father, Peter doesn't find me." I told him. "Don't worry. He won't. Your boyfriend over there can come over when he wants." my cousin explained.

I looked at Brett and he nodded. "I'm okay with that." Brett said. "Then, it's settled." Derek said. "Let's go, guys." I told my comrades. They walked over and we all exited the school, not looking back.
