Foul-to break the rules of the game

"Aaaaaaaaaaah!!!" We all screamed when we saw a white cloth cladded figure with a candle. The only source of light here in our office.

Seeing this figure I don't have much time to explain you all but as it is quite important seeing you all look so confused. Yes I can see your face ;)

Okay.

I can't. Still.

So the reason we are here at 2 am on a Saturday midnight is because today morning the tea seller in front of our office informed us that at night he had seen and heard some weird stuff. By that he meant paranormal stuff. And then......

"That can not happen." Laksh commented.

His cabin was fully filled with so many people inside it. Everyone had come to him to congratulating him one by one.

Now was the chance of Sameer, Rohan, Tia, Neha and Ragini. They all had entered his cabin as they owned it and congratulated him. It was a hilarious exchange between Ragini and Laksh, when Ragu went forward to congratulate him.

"Same to you?" Was what Laksh wanted to reply but a mere thankyou replaced it.

If these many people weren't enough to call the cabin a fish market, Swara and Sanskaar too entered. They had other motive though, but seeing the already accumulated crowd they also stood teasing the soon to be groom.

While the bride laughed at the teasing hidden behind the employ's mask. It was a jovial moment which continued until a knock came.

A knock which evoked the fire of a challenge. A knock which even though made shivers run through the spine aroused the zest to win and to prove.

It was Balraj, the tea seller who owned his tea stall just in front of the office. He had come here to distribute the evening tea to Laksh, who loved having that specific tea at the evening.

Normal conversations were taking place when suddenly Balraj blurts out that he noticed a shadow of a moving figure the previous night. The office was already closed and Balraj too was closing his stall for the day, when he observed such creepy happenings. It didn't scare him way too much just enough.

Hearing this all the girl gang present in the cabin except Ragini yelled out a shriek. Scared and petrified they were.

The office in which they were currently working and were present might have some 'evil power like a ghost'.

This thought sounded childish yet was possible. After all everything is possible.

Laksh had completely disagreed to this alligation. He was way too sure that this was all just blind beliefs people had.

But one statement from Samir turned the females against the males, to prove that they were brave enough to come here in the office at the midnight.

So with this a challenge bloomed. A competition between the males and the females to prove who can handle the pitch black darkness and pranks pulled on them by the opposite team.

They had to search for a trophy which was hidden by the watchman, in that darkness. It wasn't the challenge of who finds it first instead it was a chance by chance challenge. Each team entered the field- the whole of the office floor where all the cubicles were present.

Now the catch was that the opposite was in charge to scare off the other team who are in the battle field.

How much ever scared the girls were, they wanted to prove the opposite team that they weren't cowards as quoted by Samir and laughed on by the remaining three.

Ragini was the leader of the female's team while Laksh was of the male team.

After work, they had gone to their homes just to return back at 12:00 am sharp. Both the teams were equipped with the required gadgets. And by winning the three round game of stone paper and scissors, Ragini chose to go second.

While the male team were on their mission, the females had not held back and pranked them dangerously. What did the males expect, Ragini was opposite them, the prank champion.

They covered all aspects and left nothing unexplored. From the eeriee music, to the slippery floor, to the flour trick, to the water attack, to the ghostly sounds to damn everything. At last way too tired and knowing they won't be able to find the trophy from the girls they accepted their defeat.

But that didn't stop them from now scaring the girls team whose chance came after them. The girls had tried all pranks on them so the boys had to use just the repetition, but that didn't stop them from getting those scared reactions and shrills from the girls. While the boys were tired of trying, girl gang were scared so it made a lot more fun for the boys to evoke responses from them.

It went all good until they all heard the song, which none of the teams played. They had enquired the girls but they refused and instead blamed them.

Thus confirming that the sound was played or sung by someone else- specifically by the ghost as quoted by Tia.

After the happenings they had decided to leave when

They all now stood in front of the woman in white.

White long hairs, long black nails and the whole whote cloth cladded body. The candle in her hand made it even more scary.

The girls were shivering while Ragu tried to calm them down, but to no avail.

"Whose that?" Laksh asked angrily. "What type of prank is this?" He continued still not believing.

The moving figure stopped in the tracks, and Neha screamed loudly. While Tia had started chanting the hanuman chalisa. Swara was almost hanging on Sanskaar from the fear.

The male team and Ragini were the ones who weren't scared yet.

"Who are you?" Sanskaar asked.

Suddenly the figure raised her hands and pointed it at the lamp bulb, which bursted as soon as she pointed at it.

This time along with the girls, Rohan too yelled.

Sounds started playing, the typical eerie and creepy ones. It was an awful sight, no one knew what was going on.

The figure soon started laughing, the devil laugh. By now fear had grown in every ones heart. Samir too was shivering a bit and Sanskaar seeing others had the beads of perspiration.

Inshort everyone was scared except Laksh and Ragini who stood unaffected.

The atmosphere was way too dark. Shivering, teeth clattering, prayers, everything could be heard in the silenced room.

"Go from here!" The figure suddenly shouted in a way too deep yet womanish voice. Her face was covered by the long white locks.

"You think?" Ragini smirked.

Every head turned towards her.

"Ragu are you mad?" Swara shouted.

"Ragini what is wrong with you?" Samir said.

"Ragu!!" Sanskaar shouted.

"What?" Tia stammered.

All of this happened together.

"Guys chill its nothing." She tried to calm them down.

"You girl. You don't believe in me?" The figure asked amused. "Now see." She continued.

Suddenly she raised her hands and chanted something.

No one knew what happened at that moment but Ragini had started moving towards the figure. Or actually she was being pulled.

Everyone and Laksh panicked. The tried holding her hand but she didn't stop. She was way too close to the figure and way too far from Laksh.

Laksh moved forward to save Ragini, his face all panicked and scared. He looked absolutely terrified, if the figure wasn't able to scare him. Ragini going away surely did.

Thats when he saw Ragini turning around.

She looked still. Silent.

She looked at everyone. Their faces precisely.

And then she burst into laughter.

Heyaaa!! How are you all?? I am having this five days gap before the last physics paper, so utilised it! Twist is up and One shot part 1 will be up as well in few minutes.

And say how is december- the last month treating you all? For me pretty much entire december is test😂😂 but amongst it I am hooked to this serial currently😂😂 Nazar, i watch it whenever I get a break 😂😂
