everyone froze as they heard what junior had just said.

"no, no. no!" jungkook kept on chanting that one word as he fell to the floor, jin immediately going to his side and enveloped him in a hug eventhough he himself is letting out shaky breaths and cries.

"his parents are not back yet, what do we do hyung? i, we can't lose him hyung!" taehyung held junior's shoulder as he cried, tears cascading down his chin.

"we'll carry on with the operation, tell jimin's parents that-"

"doctor, the patient's heart monitor stopped beeping" a nurse suddenly came out in despair as she shouted out the news.

jungkook shot up, removing himself from jin as his eyes widen.

"what? but it's not possible. set up the defibrillation machine now! if the patient suddenly has a cardiac arrest, it can lead to death! set it up!" junior rushed back in, not realising the other six were breaking down again, after hearing what he just said.

"jimin! oh my god jimin! please!" the younger banged the glass frame as he watched what was happening through the glass with teary eyes. jimin's chest shooting up and coming back down, as the heart monitor showed no signals of life.

"you can't leave me jimin! hyung please!" the boy's voice was hoarse, he has been crying for a few hours straight and kept on screaming and shouting.

"jungkook, stop" yoongi made his way to the latter, gripping the younger's arms in an attempt to stop the grieving boy.

but jungkook, he just kept crying and shouting, struggling to get out of the blonde haired grip.

"jungkook you have to calm down!" hoseok helped his boyfriend pull the distress boy away from the glass frame.

"how can i calm down? just how the fuck can i? let go of me!"

"jimin wouldn't want to see you like this jeon jungkook!" jin got down beside yoongi as he held jungkook. "calm down jungkook, breathe. he's going to be okay, jimin's goi-"

"i can't lose him" the younger clutched on the other's shirt as he trembled, mumbling those words out in a screeched voice.

"i know, i know" the elder rubbed his back comfortingly as he looked up to the others, all of them giving him a pitiful expression.

jungkook really loves jimin.

imagine living in a world without someone you love, some would rather die.

"thank god" junior breathed out as he heard the heart monitor beeping again, setting down the machine. "thank you jimin" he let out a sigh before turning to the nurses in the room.

"we'll have to carry out the operation now, i'll inform the others once again, please set up the place" with that, he walked out of the room, seeing everyone having their head down as they closed their eyes.

"taehyung" the doctor called out, catching everyone's attention.

"how is he hyung? did he-" taehyung didn't manage to finish his sentence as junior shook his head, "he is such a strong person taehyung, he fought so hard, he wouldn't just end his life now" junior let out a small smile, patting the other's back.

the others let out a relieved sigh as they glance towards the glass, seeing jimin's heart monitor in use and beeping faintly.

"thank you hyung, thank you so much" jungkook whispered silently as he stood up and wiped his tears away, walking towards the glass frame to take a look at his lover.

"we'll be starting the surgery soon, please inform his parents taehyung-ah. please tell them to get here as soon as they can because we need authorization in the first place but since the patient is in a very life-threatening position, we'll try our best" junior said before going back in and covering the glass frame.

"guys, jimin, he will make it right?" taehyung asked faintly, glancing up as he saw the others reaction.

no one said anything.

taehyung took in a deep breath, steadying his breathing before taking out his phone to inform his bestfriend's parents.

"hello?"

"hello aunty. it's taehyung"

"ah taehyung, hi. did anything happened? why are you calling me?"

"jimin, he got into an accident. he's in sugery. you and mr. park have to come down to seoul national hospital"

the line was silent for awhile, before the latter heard a choked sob.

"we'll be there soon. thank you for telling us taehyung-ah"

he ended up the call and sat down, putting his face in his hands as he was in so much worry for the red haired boy inside the room.

what if jimin doesn't make it?

jimin's parents rushed to the hospital in two hours, cancelling their business trip as they got on the earliest flight they could, waiting for news of their son as well.

jin and namjoon went to buy drinks for everyone as the others waited outside the room.

their jimin is inside, fighting for his life.

everyone's ball of sunshine was now only having 30 percent chance of living, who knows what can happen.

jungkook was a wreck.

his tears didn't stop flowing. everytime it tried to stop, it flows again because the latter's mind was only on jimin.

he wouldn't be able to carry on life without the elder.

eventhough they only got together for a while, their love was strong. their love for each other was always overflowing.

the hugs they shared, jungkook misses the warmth.

the kisses they had, jungkook was addicted.

jeon jungkook is just intoxicated with the person named park jimin.

after ten hours straight in surgery, junior stepped out of the operation room, taking off his mask.

jungkook immediately went up to the other, trying to read the elder's expression.

"how is he doctor?"
