As the crashes could be heard from outside the building Danny and the two other best friends sat there quickly sending each other panic looks, only giving Rin a quick glance or two. Danny suddenly stood up "I have to go to the bathroom!" He quickly said with a nervous smile before scurrying off towards where Rin assumed were the bathrooms. Another loud crash shook the structure "what the hell is going on?" Rin exclaimed while trying to look around outside the window. Sam and Tucker continued to look nervous trying to avoid Rin's eyes, before both lurched forward to stop Rin as he stood up to go see the commotion outside. As they were about to grab his hand Rin slipped his hand away "what are you trying to doing?" He said with suspicion in his words, while both teenagers started to sweat "umm don't worry about it...it happens all the time, right Tucker?" Sam elbowed him "ow...I mean yeah don't worry about it man".

As the two kept making excuses with each other Rin had slipped away outside of the building, walking out onto the sidewalk following the sounds. Looking out into the street a battle of two figures...a floating person and a robot? 'What' Rin could only think as he saw the exchange between the two. The two continued to brawl out, “ha! Take that skulker, is it just me or are you getting to rusty you ectoplasmic tin can!” the glowing boy bantered at the robot, the robot further angered took out some sort of gun aiming it at the glowing teen. Smirking the robot yelled “try this ghost child!” before firing a neon green beam, barely missing the scorching heat the teen takes out a…’thermos?’ Rin thought as he saw the object. Pressing a button the thermos opened and released a blue beam seemingly pulling the glowing robot into the container “what the hell is going on” Rin whispered to himself.

Clipping the thermos to his side the floating creature levitated to the ground “*sigh* when will he ever give up, I mean seriously” the teen said. Looking up Danny immediately saw Rin looking at him with a ‘what-the-hell-just-happened’ face, quickly getting nervous he decides to walk towards the other teen. Rubbing the back of his head Danny said “hey I'm Danny Phantom, you really shouldn't be out here during a ghost attack it's dangerous” all while offering a strained gentle smile. With that said Rin froze ‘ghost?’ he thought examining the other half breed ‘is he a ghost?...obviously his name had phantom in it’ he thought again before pausing a few more moments. Offering his hand out “hi my name's Rin. Rin Okumura” looking completely calm, startled by the reaction Danny hesitantly shook the hand “yeah...nice to meet you” he said he being a more natural smile.

Danny face then morphed into concern "I wasn't kidding it's dangerous to be out here when a ghost attacks, but I never seen you here before you must be new to Amity" he suggested with a small smile. Smirking back Rin replied "yeah I am and thanks I'll keep that in mind next time" but after he spoke he couldn't help but examine the other teen again 'he looks and smells very familiar' he thought while narrowing his eyes at the halfa. Noticing Rin's staring he begins to grow nervous again 'does he recognize me?' He started to internally panic, taking note of Danny's current panicking state Rin gives a smile to reassure the other. Soon as Danny spots the smile he relaxes 'maybe he doesn't?', Rin meanwhile had solved his puzzlement 'now I recognize he's Danny! As in the Danny Fenton kid I just met, they smell exactly the same but the 'ghost' DNA must be covering his human scent more in his current appearance' he thought smiling 'he's a half breed too' Rin thought looking at the other teen.

Looking past Rin, Danny could see both Sam and Tucker mouthing in coherent words while pointing to the direction of a incoming white van, Danny figured it was the GIW arriving to either shoot at him or arriving to late the the previous fight. Focusing his eyes back on Rin "hey I got to go before the guys in white arrive, Ok?" "Oh yeah sure, bye" he said smiling before the demon started to walk away waving. Looking back to the now parked white van, men with suits came rushing out of the vehicle “stop right there inviso-bill!” one of the agents shouted while aiming their gun. Lifting off the ground Danny’s faced screamed annoyed “seriously guys, it’s DANNY PHANTOM! No one calls me that anymore and why can’t you just leave me alone” he said before flying away into an ally way. Transforming back into Danny Fenton, he ran back behind the Nasty Burger and fazed through the brick wall only to find himself back into the men’s restroom.

After saying his farewell to Danny, Rin made his way back into the building, immediately spotting Sam and Tucker sitting at the table looking at him with concern. Sitting down the two continued to stare “what?” he snapped them “Rin you shouldn't have gone out, that was really dangerous” Sam replied with a frown. Frowning back Rin opened his mouth “it’s not like either of you told me about what was happening, you kept making excuses, what were you even trying to accomplish by that anyway?”. Both looking defeated “alright man I guess we're both at fault too, but it was still stupid of you to go looking for danger like that” Tucker replied, sighing Rin rubbed the back of his head sheepishly “yeah, yeah I know sorry”. Just then Danny could be seen walking out of the restroom “hey sorry guy’s what I miss?” all three looked at each other and started laughing “hahaha nothing really” Rin said while the three deadpanned back at him.

Hey people who actually reads my story, which is amazing by the way. I know I haven’t posted in about a week...sorry but I’m a bit lazy and have other things going on but I decided I might as well get this part done so we can move to the more fun and exciting parts of the story.
