-Blaza POV-
Gulvic just stormed out of the room, and Ryzo was still staring at the door. He then looked at me, and shook me a bit.

"What do you think you were doing, Blaza?!"

He actually seemed concerned for me, which was a first from either of the two murderers. I answered a confused,

"Wait, you're concerned for me?"

He then quickly took his hands off of my shoulders a couple seconds later, and stuttered,

"Uhm.. no, I just wanted to know why you did that. I'm not concerned for you at all.. why would I be? There is no reason for me to care about you. Pfft, I would never-"

I then grabbed his shoulders, and stated,

"Hey, you don't have to take after Gulvic. We won't judge you for that!"

His eyes filled with surprise and confusion, but also had a bit of eagerness. He then fought it, and said,

"Thanks, but.. I think I'll stick with the way I'm going.."

He looked a bit upset to say that, and before I could say anything Laff took control again. When I saw this I immediately got next to him just in case he started coughing again like he usually does. He did, and I patted him on the back a couple times. He frantically asked,

"Is everyone okay?"

"Yes, but..  I'm not sure about Gulvic and Socks."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, Gulvic's tentacles just puffed up a bit, and he just stormed out into the hall. I'm pretty sure he'll be in Socks' room if I know him well enough.."

"Should we see if they're okay? Or should we leave them alone.."

"That's the only thing I'm not too sure about. I do have to use the bathroom though, so maybe I'll stop by his room and check."

"Alright.. I think everyone will be staying in here, so just come back here then."

I then nodded, signaling that's what I would do. Walking through the doors, I started down the hall. It was originally a dirty-cream-colored wall, but now it was a dirty-cream with uneven black streaks throughout. (Mostly near Meme's room from that whole scenario..) They were occasionally wet, which was odd because they should be dry by now.. unless something happened in the past five minutes.

That could be a possibility.. but what the hell could've happened?

As I was passing and about to turn the corner for the bathroom, I looked in Socks' room. Gulvic nor Socks was there. I just shrugged it off though, and closed the door to the bathroom behind me. As soon as I locked the door, I noticed the sink. I knew I saw something out of the ordinary through my peripheral. On the marble-white, stone surface was a streak of black, running down the side of the sink. My mind immediately went to Socks, and I felt my hoodie's ears droop. I then heard,

"Meep meep.. mep meeep?"

My throat went dry. I felt the top of my hoodie move along with the sound. It sounded like a mouse voice, as in high-pitched and squeaky.

"Am I drugged? Or did my hoodie just talk."

"Mep meeeeeeep!"

It sounded like it was saying 'helloooooooooo!', so I just went,

"Uh.. we can figure this out later.."

"Meep mep.."

Putting this aside, I took a closer look at the black. It looked a bit bubbly and transparent, unlike the usual tentacle fluid. That seemed to usually be thick and sticky, almost like tar. This seemed watery and runny, almost like saliva.

Wait.. is this saliva-

I turned the sink on and splashed some water onto it. It went right down the drain.

Must've been saliva then..

I then went to resume what I came to do.

I came out and started back down the hall, and once again looked in Socks' room. He again wasn't there.

Huh.. weird..

I was just about to go back the way I came when I saw an orange figure behind me. I jumped, startled, but realized it was Socks.

"Oh! Hey, Socks! We were just going to start looking for you. Where were you?"

"I was just outside looking for something.."

I've been friends with him long enough to know he was lying. He's always dragged the last word in his sentence out when he is.

"I know you're lying.. what were you doing?"

I then saw a slight red tint show up in his eyes, and he said,

"Fine.. I was just trying to calm Gulvic down, but it got a little tense.."

"Well, you could've just said that-"

I then started back down the hall. I may have looked like I was annoyed, but I really just didn't want to be around him with his eyes' appearance. I then felt a hand on my shoulder, and the astronaut had ran up to me and he said,

"Blaza! I didn't mean it, I didn't mean to lie. I don't know what came over me"

He said that as if he were scared of what he said, and like he shouldn't have. I whirled around again and, confused, replied,

"What.. do you mean 'you don't know what came over you'?"

"Oh, uh.. that's not what I meant.. I just-"

The lying obviously had something to do with the tint. It was gone now, but the question was, how is there a relation? Does he know about it?

"Hey, you know your eyes sometimes have a reddish tint.. right?"

"What? They do?"

"Uh.. yeah. You haven't noticed it?"

"Well I can't see my own face, can I?"

"True, true.."

I then hastily added my thoughts into the conversation.

"I'm just going to say it, but it's probably not one hundred percent true. I think this lying might have to do with the tint, as you aren't lying anymore and the tint is gone."

"Maybe."

A couple seconds passed before a question came to my mind.

"Wait so.. if you weren't calming Gulvic down, then what were you really doing outside?"

"Uh.. it's kinda hard to explain. Basically, when he feels strong emotions, our body creates more black to use for our eyes. When I take control while this happens however, Gulvic can no longer extract it from his tentacles, meaning it's still inside of us. The only ways to get it out are by throwing up, through the hands, or through the eyes."

"I guess that makes a bit of sense. So, he was getting all of it out? That's what you're telling me?"

"Pretty much."

He then turned to the side a bit, in the direction of his bedroom door.

"Well, I'm going to be in my bedroom if any of you need me."

He started to walk to his door, and turned the doorknob. I debated on lightening the mood by saying the nicknames we gave each other when we were kids, and I did.

"Sounds good, Rainbow.."

Socks immediately bursted out in laughter when he heard that. He hit me back with,

"Alrighty there, Sheriff Comneer- or should I say Care Bear?"

"Hey! We don't speak of that.."

He then turned around and leaned his right elbow against the plaster wall, and put his left hand on his waist. He playfully retorted,

"Says who?"

I immediately gave myself a very heavy southern accent, and announced,

"SAYS THE SHERIFF AROUND THESE PARTS!!"

I then let out a 'yeehaw' just for the fun of it. This made both of us burst into laughter again, and that's when I made my leave.

"Alright, I'll leave you alone, bu-"

I started past his door as he opened it, but stopped. The word 'bud' fizzed into a:

"Uhhhh what happened there..?"

I pointed to a dried up, black puddle that was right inside his door.

"Oh yeah.. that.."

"And?"

"The night Woolf was shot, black was bursting down my eyes in the room next to the stairs. I thought it was done, so I just headed to bed. Apparently Gulvic really wasn't, and poured black from my eyes again right here. I then got really light headed for some reason, and didn't bother to do anything about it."

"I see.."

"But yeah I'll do something about it eventually.. probably tonight."

"Alright, well see you later, bud! We'll be in the room next to the stairs if you need us."

And that was that.

-Socks POV-

I flopped on my bed, spreading my arms out, and not caring that I messed up the covers. I sat myself up in the middle of it, and decided to take my visor off. I checked the time, and it was around six o'clock. This whole time, I had forgotten about my phone, and I also somehow forgot the date. I checked, and it was September 23. This all started the 12th, so that means it's been about a week and a half ever since Gulvic showed up. Everything flew by. Really fast. I was just starting to relax for the first time in days when a familiar, deep, gravelly voice showed itself again in my mind.

"Awe, that was a nice couple of minutes between you and him.. wasn't it?"

"Would you- ugh.. nevermind.."

"So you two have been friends for a while, huh?"

"Since we were kids, yeah. Blaza found this place, and he showed it to me and.. MemeGod. We worked on this abandoned building with the help of our parents, and it turned into this! I met almost everyone here through this place too."

"Alright.. Socks, I didn't ask for a life story."

"Technically, you did."

"Technically, I didn't.

"Technically, you shouldn't be here right now. You're 821 years old."

"Wait, how do you remember that?"

"What? Your age? You told me in my mind, remember?"

Gulvic stayed silent after I said that, which was a relief. I then remembered something that I haven't touched in forever. I immediately jumped off my bed and rummaged underneath it, needing to shove at least twenty, empty, sludge-covered water bottles out of the way to reach it. I then felt it, and pulled it out. A massive smile then spread across my face. I then sat back up on the navy-covered bed, and got in position to start strumming on my old, wooden, red guitar. I whispered to myself,

"Jeez.. it's been forever since I've played this thing.."

I was about to play a chord or two when I realized the sun was starting to set. In my room, I had a window that was as low as your knees, had three, tall panes, and was pushed in the wall so it was like a booth. I walked over and sat down in it, and a couple seconds later put my feet on the wall of the right side of it. I started playing a song I've known since childhood while watching the sun. I knew the song by heart, and almost everyone else did too apart from Nadwe and Muffin. It reminded me a lot of the three dead, so I put a lot of emotion into the song. I eventually started singing along, and that's when my room suddenly got really cold. I stopped playing to look if someone opened the door, but there was no one. I then looked back at the sunset, shrieked, and almost fell off the window sill. Gulvic thankfully had my back this one time, and my fingers got sharp enough to dig into the wall so I wouldn't fall.

I again looked at the sunset and saw what looked like a Muffin flying around outside the window. It waved at me, and I waved back. It suddenly phased through the window and yelled,

"Hi, Socks!!"

"Uh.. what?"

"It's me! MuffinJuice!!"

"WHAT?!"

"I know, crazy right?"

I then heard a voice I never thought I'd hear again from behind me.

"Muffin, stop acting weird about it.."

I twirled my head around to see nothing, but that's when a cyan ghost and a dark gray ghost phased through the floor, into my room.

"Hey, dude! It's been a while, huh?"

"Wha.. a-am I hallucinating?"

I then heard a fourth voice from my mind.

"Technically, yes. Me and Ryzo are the only ones that should see them but since I'm possessing you that's not the case."

"Well, why am I just now seeing them then?"

The Muffin answered for Gulvic, saying like it was obvious,

"Because we haven't been around you.. that's wh-"

The cyan ghost, who I assumed was MemeGod, interrupted him.

"Not true. We were sitting with him, Blaza, and Laff the day before Ryzo came along, and he didn't see us."

Gulvic then explained,

"I may or may not feel pity for you and be allowing you to see them.. okay?"

I was about to talk when he snapped,

"Yeah.. I have feelings.."

I didn't talk to him anymore after that, as I didn't want to set him off. I instead talked to the three ghosts until they thought it was time they went to see the others.
