("I quit being a school idol", Kanan says. Plus she says Mari has to study abroad.)

(Mari is angry with this decision whilst Dia just stands there silent, who actually agrees with Kanan.)

Honoka: Why did this happen?

Nico: I would have did what Dia did too, just as how I dealt with my failure in the past. Even lied to my siblings about it...

(Shows them her idol uniform in a failed attempt to persuade them not to quit. Kanan says it's over.)

Kotori: You guys actually gave up on the very uniforms you wore....so wrong!
Honoka: Come on! Please change your minds!

(Then it cuts to the Opening...)

Nico: Guys, I have a feeling something still isn't clear. Like, after all that face Mari made last episode, I think things are deeper than they may be.
Eri: I feel it too. Like, what Dia said and all last episode made sense but there seemed to be not enough explanation so far. I am puzzled why Kanan didn't hug her last episode!
Honoka: I don't get you guys. Dia's explanations sound perfectly alright with me.
Umi: But...I still feel a bit concerned. Like, the third years are now fighting with each other over their failure in the past. I know it is hard to move on from it and all, but I find it a bit too dramatic for them to still be fretting about it until now.
Maki: Sometimes, people can't move on I guess?

(There is an upcoming summer festival and everyone is okay enough to prepare for it. Even Chika is okay now. Notice Yoshiko as she lies on the bench like a princess.)

Honoka: Cool! A summer festival?! I am in!! I am so happy Chika is fine!
Umi: Glad to see they can relax their minds for a bit by focusing on something else.
Eri: I can't relax at all after seeing that introduction.

(Chika wonders about why Kanan quit being a school idol, as far as she knows from their times together. For example, at the pool years ago, Kanan inspired Chika in learning how to swim. It bothers her how someone who taught her never to give up actually gave up being an idol.)

Honoka: She has a point! Very sketchy.
Umi: It does feel weird...
Eri: Kanan is kinda acting like me when I kept secret about my failled ballet performance and why I am against Honoka's school idol experiment. BUT THIS IS JUST PREPOSPOROUS!! Kanan is being very unreasonable!!
Nozomi: Errichi has a point. I find it too ironic for someone as confident as her to give up so easily.
Nico: I don't buy it either. Like, her absences at school intrigues me despite her reasoning her dad is injured. Why is she still absent until now!?
Hanayo: Looks like Eri, Nico, and Nozomi all seem to be worked up on this episode more than previous ones!
Kotori: I do admire how much Kanan cared for Chika!

(Everyone turns their gaze to Ruby. She might have heard something about Kanan through her elder sister Dia.)

Honoka: Oh yeah! Little sister must know something!
Eri: Oh! Ruby might know something!
Nozomi: I sense guilt from that girl, how cute...
Maki: This is turning into a detective show...

(Ruby runs and squeals...)

Honoka: WHAT?!! HEY RUBY, DON'T RUN!!
Rin: Hey! Why did she ran away? I am pretty sure you don't do that unless you're -
Eri: RUBY IS HIDING SOMETHING!! WOW!
Umi: Someone catch her!

(Yoshiko chases and captures Ruby with her FALLEN DRAGON PHOENIX HOLD!! Then Hanamaru lightly taps her head to stop.)

Maki: The hell!!?
Umi: (faceplam)....Yoshiko....what the hell...YOU ACTUALLY HAVE A NAME FOR THAT!! What is this crap!?
Honoka: Whoa! YOSHIKO IS AMAZING! SHE HAS A SPECIAL MOVE!!

Eri: Interesting.
Rin: She caught her before she got far! That is so amazing, nyah! At least everyone does not need to chase her all the way.

Kotori: The first years are really quirky so far!

(Ruby talks. All she knows is that their idol performance at Tokyo years ago failed. She did, however, overheard a conversation between Mari and Dia - her sister said Kanan "isn't running away".)

Nozomi: Huh? When did this take place?
Honoka: Okey, so Ruby heard something...
Eri: Not running away....okay, I am confused.
Umi: Uhhhh....Kanan doesn't seem to be doing that...
Nico: I am convinced something is missing. Everything we learn so far is misleading. And Dia just knows too much somewhat, how suspicious. Somehow, I cannot quite figure out a theory for all this yet...

(Everyone decides to stalk Kanan. They follow her during her morning run. She jogs everyday.)

Honoka: Ohhhhh.....
Umi: Damn it. This may be our fault as to why stalking is nowadays the trending way people interview others.
Nozomi: Hmmmm....so familiar...(like how I was stalked by Maki.)
Nico: Oh come on, this again?! (Like how everyone stalked me to find my house...)
Maki: Admit it guys. Stalking is now the trending way school idols do interviews.

(Everybody gets tired following her...realising she is sooo athletic to be jogging at very long distances...)

Umi: Whoa! Is Kanan an Olympic runner or something?!!
Honoka: Wow!
Eri: Oh my! Kanan is amazing to jog that far!
Nozomi: Ha! So that is why Kanan has such a nice body! That's her secret!
Kotori: Oh my. This is actually tiring.
Maki: Goddamn! I probably would have given up very soon.

(After a LONG MARATHON, a very tired Aqours finally spots her stopping by at the shrine on the mountain - Chika saw her dancing gracefully like an idol!)

Rin: Whoa! I am jealous.
Hanayo: Oh my, how majestic!
Kotori: Beautiful!
Honoka: Whoa! Kanan is amazing!
Umi: Such grace! Wait, so...if she is actually dancing, it means she doesn't hate school idols then!
Eri: HARASHO!! KANAN IS LIKE ME AFTER ALL!!
Nozomi: My oh my! Kanan has an amazing butt!!
Eri: Nozomi, I will kick you out if you keep being lewd.
Nozomi: Just kidding! Well, at least we now know Kanan ain't running away after all!
Maki: Incredible. But she's seems to be hiding that from everyone.
Nico: Yo! Wait, has she been hiding that all this time? Looks like she hasn't given up after all -

(Suddenly, someone seemed to be clapping. Mari shows up...)

Maki: Oh no.
Eri: OH SHIT! Here it goes!!
Nico: Hmph! This is gonna be bad...
Hanayo: Oh my...

(Mari mentions that Kanan had just recently turned in her notice of return - Kanan is coming back to school. Mari wonders if this is a sign that Kanan is changing her mind and is no longer running away...)

Kotori: Oh dear! Kanan is returning to school?
Eri: GOOD!! I have been complaining about her absence all this time!!
Honoka: I am glad she is coming back.
Nico: Hmph! Too convenient! I bet Kanan just wanted to avoid everyone all this time!
Eri: This is gonna be tense...

(Kanan vehemently denounces Mari's assumption, stating clearly that her return is only because her dad is now fine. She will NOT be a school idol when she comes back.)

Honoka: Damn it Kanan, why!!?
Maki: Oh is that so, huh? As far as I know about health and medicine, injuries can sometimes recover sooner than you think. I bet you could've returned earlier, you are just making an excuse.
Nico: Damn, she is a brute! So just like me when I used to be a school idol all by myself and I almost gave up on being one.
Eri: Kanan, shut up. I don't want to hate you but you are being too unreasonable!
Umi: I am utterly confused. Why all the drama?

(Kanan mentions they have only one year left before graduating. Mari argues it is enough and that they will have Chika and the others with them. Kanan declares they should be on their own and they don't have to join them.)

Nozomi: I feel the pain that she is trying as hard as she can to be as calm as I am...
Eri: She seems to be trying too hard to act like she is as wise as you are...

(Kanan asks why she came back. She didn't need her to come back. Mari is surprised and before she tries to act cool, Kanan tells her to stop it. SHE DOES NOT WANT TO SEE HER AGAIN.)

Nozomi: Wow, I am hurt to hear her say that.
Honoka: Dude, this is intense!
Eri: BIIIIIIIITTTTCCCCHHHHH!!! WHY KANAN?!! I HATE YOU!
Rin: Something tells me she finally appeared just to be very bad, nyah.
Nico: She is lying. That face looks so guilty or sad for someone who said all that.
Maki: Definitely a tsundere. Why would Kanan say that while looking so sad? Something does not add up.
Umi: Can somebody explain what the hell is up?!!

(Chika and the others managed to escape undetected. They realise how mean Kanan is and how messed up Mari was, and also something does not make sense.)

Hanayo: Phew!! They made it out!
Rin: Wow, everyone actually escaped without being caught.
Eri: COME ON!! WE NEED MORE INFO, DAMMIT!!
Maki: Something tells me Kanan is lying. I know a tsundere when I see one.
Nozomi: I am pretty sure Kanan is pretending somewhat. That dance she did was clearly evidence that she didn't run away after all!! Her face shows how happy she actually is after doing that!
Umi: Yeah! Like, here's the deal: Dia said that all this was because they failed to perform at Tokyo since they were overwhelmed by the competition. I get that. But...Kanan ain't running away yet she is giving up on being a school idol. Why does it feel like they are blaming each other for something?!
Nico: I find it fishy too.....just guessing, but I think maybe the truth we've been told is incomplete.
Kotori: Nico sure seems know what is up everytime. I am also glad she seems to be not bashing Aqours much recently...
Nico: Hmph!
Honoka: So weird! Kanan could have continued being an idol too! Yet she stopped and......ugggghhhh I DON'T WANT TO THINK!!

(The next day, KANAN FINALLY ATTENDS SCHOOL! But Mari shows up challenging her to wear that old idol uniform she used to wear...)

Hanayo: I am nervous.
Kotori: Oh dear...
Honoka: Damn, this may not be a good reunion...
Umi: Sigh, this is really bad...

(KANAN THROWS THAT UNIFORM OUT OF THE WINDOW! And the second years happen to be beneath that room pondering about Kanan's return...)

Nico: So sick and cold....OY YOU THREE, GET THAT OUTFIT!
Hanayo: Oy! Chika, Riko, You! The outfit is falling to you! Catch it!

(YOU SUDDENLY SMELLS THE OUTFIT AND GRABS IT LIKE A FREAK. She almost fell off the balcony had it not been for Riko and Chika catching her legs.)

Everyone: !!!!!!??? 😲😲😲😲😲
Umi: YOU IS INSANE!!!!?
Kotori: WOOOOOOWWWW!!!! AMAZING!!!! I LOVE YOU!! WHAT A HERO!!
Maki: OY, DO YOU WANT TO DIE!!? She does not seem to care about dying at all.

(Commotion ensues between Mari and Kanan and soon everybody in school, Ruby, Hanamaru, and later the second years, start watching the fight...)

Honoka: Oh no....
Eri: Oh dear, this is really bad. As a former student council president, I know full well how fights like these need to be taken care of.
Umi: ABSOLUTELY. SHAMELESS!!
Maki: Childish!

(In front of everyone in class, Mari refuses to let go of Kanan and constantly bugs her to be a school idol and not give up for one failure. Kanan struggles to get out and argue back. Dia just stands there telling them to stop.....)

Umi: NONE OF YOU ARE EXPLAINING SHIT! WHY ARE YOU ALL FIGHTING?!!
Eri: DIA, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!!? You're the President! Do something!!!

(Chika walks in and SHOUTS AT THEM AND CALLING THEM OUT! She knows they are hiding something and tells them to spit it out.)

Umi: WHOA!!
Honoka: Oh my god!
Rin: Yo, Chika has a powerful voice!
Hanayo: Amazing!
Eri: HARASHO! Chika you are amazing!!
Maki: No way! She actually called them out on their actions.
Nico: How ironic. A second year scolds the third years, what a reversal.
Nozomi: Chika truly is a boss.

(Chika orders all three of them to go to the clubroom now! You and the others are amazed at her boldness.)

Eri: CHIKA AMAZING! DIA, I AM SO DISAPPOINTED YOU COULDN'T DO SHIT.
Nico: Yep.
Kotori: This feels like how Maki-chan would call out anybody regardless of their seniority...
Maki: Oy, what does this have to do with me?

(At the clubroom, Kanan remains stubborn in telling the truth and uses her inability to sing as her excuse. Chika doesn't buy it cuz it all seemed too shallow. But Kanan refuses to talk, which only frustrates Chika more. Meanwhile, Mari just puts herself behind Chika constantly saying she is right and feels the same way - they are both pissed at Kanan.)

Eri: Ha! Everyone is really pissed!
Honoka: Please say something guys...this fight is getting out of hand.
Umi: KANAN, TALK! I am so confused, you better say stuff!
Nozomi: Mari is really mischeivous! She is so quirky to be sympathising with Chika.
Maki: This is a very awkward detective show indeed...
Nico: Kanan and Dia are legit hiding something.

(Ruby mentions that they saw Kanan dancing at that shrine before. Kanan gives them a bad glare while blushing in embarassment. Mari smirks as she learns of this new detail - Kanan still misses her idol days...)

Honoka: Good call!
Rin: Ruby, you're amazing!
Eri: HAHA! KANAN, YOUR SECRET IS OUT! Start explaining things!
Umi: SPEAK OUT!
Nico: CAUGHT RED HANDED!
Hanayo: I am so confused. Does Kanan really hate idols or not?
Kotori: Kanan please talk.

(Kanan finally has had enough and denies that she misses it. She walks out.)

Kotori: Oh come on!
Eri: KANAN, NO! GO BACK!! DAMN YOU AND YOUR STUBBORNESS!
Nozomi: Kanan is truly a tough nut to crack.
Umi: She is really annoying...

(All that was left was Dia, who Riko noticed has been almost silent all this time and is taking Kanan's side.)

Umi: Riko, great job.
Nico: I KNEW YOU WERE HIDING SOMETHING! DIA SPEAK UP!
Eri: Oy, Dia. Say something if you don't want me to forsake you too.
Hanayo: How annoying that the third years are hiding things...

(Dia attempts to escape...)

Umi: Dia, what the hell!!!
Eri: NOOOO!!! DIA, YOU PRICK!!
Nico: GET HER GUYS! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!
Rin: OY, YOHANE-CHAN! USE YOUR TECHNIQUE!!

(...but fails to get off YOHANE'S PHOENIX HOLD!!!!!)

Rin: NYAHMAZING!! Good job, Yohane!!
Umi: Yoshiko...good job...I'll give you credit for this one.
Maki: Wow, Aqours has a security guard now.
Honoka: Haha, I am happy how Chika seemed to be commanding Yoshiko like a dog to order that. She truly is a great leader!

(Finally, inside the Kurosawa household, Dia speaks out. Turns out, Kanan did not sing because of the pressure at Tokyo. She did it on purpose...)

Umi: FINALLY, INFORMATION AT LAST!!
Nozomi: The weather looks really gloomy. Could it be...
Eri: Wait, what?!!!
Maki: Wait, on purpose?! For what!!?
Nico: Huh?!! She did it on purpose?!! I never quite figured it was something like that.
Honoka: But why?!! Why did Kanan did that?
Umi: Yoshiko, shut up!

(Mari asks why. Dia said it was for her. Turns out, Kanan chose not to sing because of an injury Mari suffered prior to their performance, as a flashback showed. Mari is surprised that Kanan would do that and Dia reasons her injury would have gotten a lot worse had they continued. Kanan wasn't running away after all...)

Umi: What?!!! You never told us that last episode!!?
Nico: I KNEW IT!! WE HAVE NOT LEARNED THE FULL TRUTH AFTER ALL!!
Eri: MARI WAS INJURED!!? So Kanan was just protecting her?!!
Maki: Wow, so this is what it meant when Kanan wasn't running away. But, why did they not continue after that?
Hanayo: This is mindblowing!!
Honoka: ...no wonder Tokyo had bad memories for her...

(But Chika wonders why they stopped. Why don't they just continue after her injury got healed? Meanwhile, Hanamaru continues to shut Yoshiko up, covering her mouth...)

Maki: Exactly.
Umi: Hanamaru, keep Yoshiko quiet! She has to stop distracting us!
Rin: Haha, Zuramaru is doing a good job!
Honoka: Yeah, why did Kanan give up? They still had a chance!!

(Mari herself is puzzled and starts to sober as she touches the window which is now wet with raindrops. Why stop? They could have just continued and tried again for another year. Then Dia mentions that Mari has been turning down every invitation to transfer schools or going abroad for a better future just so she could remain a school idol...)

Umi: Masaka?!!
Honoka: Wait....NO WAY, ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT - !!?
Everyone: (looks at Kotori.)
Kotori: Oh my god. So....all this time...it is just like my situation before?!
Nico: Oh my god.

(And thus, all this time, Kanan wanted to quit being a school idol in order to get Mari to stop pursuing it so she could study abroad....)

Nico: Wait so....all this time, she is just giving way for Mari's future?!

Eri: SO ALL THIS TIME, KANAN HAD BEEN DECIDING ALL THIS WITHOUT CONSENTING HER?!!

(Mari is very stunned, devastated, and offended by all these revelations - Kanan has been doing all this without consulting her at all! She decides to go out, find Kanan, and slug her. Dia tells her to stop cuz Kanan has been watching out for her all this time and did it all for her.)

Eri: KANAN, YOU ARE AN IDIOT!!! 💢💢😦😖😬😬😬😬  WHY DID YOU NOT TELL HER THEN?!! How would Mari know?!! WHY DID YOU DO ALL THAT BEHIND HER BACK!!? YOU ARE ALL IDIOTS!!! Man, I am gonna cry out of frustration from all this...
Nico: This totally hit my pride. Deciding someone else's future without their consent, how awful!! Didn't expect this!
Nozomi: Now it makes sense. Kanan had been playing the mind game and throught she read through what Mari wanted...
Rin: Kanan made the right decision. She really cares for her.
Honoka: I disagree Rin. What she did was wrong and rude. It was like how Kotori suddenly told me she will leave abroad and never told me about it earlier.
Rin: Oh...sorry, I did not see that was the case...
Hanayo: I am both touched and hurt by this. They essentially got seperated earlier and failed to continie being a school idol. And we all know how precious time is for school idols!!!

(Then flashbacks reveal all their time together. Young Mari entering school and that young Kanan and Dia made their move on her to help her fit in the school. Kanan and Dia signalling her at the beach with a flashlight and know what she feels, up until when she left the country a year ago and they let that happen for the sake of her future. Kanan cared about her more than anyone.)

Umi: Oh my god, the flashbacks!!!
Nozomi: My my....the way that fate brought them together and then seperated them....I am feeling a lot of nostalgia...
Kotori: No, no....don't do this to me...I am really sensitive to stuffs like this....
Hanayo: I am gonna cry...this is too much!!!
Rin: Oh man, this is so sad...I might tear up....
Nico: Damn, I never thought their relationship was so special...
Maki: Wow....this was what their past was like...and how much effort they made to open Mari's heart....I can totally relate to this, it hurts...

Maki: If you guys had only been more open....crap....I am shedding a tear right now....
Eri: I am gonna cry, guys....feels are starting to hit me....especially that all this happened because of one decision...

(She runs and gets wet through a very rough storm. Even when she slipped she ran....)

Honoka: This is worse than me jogging in the rain....(cry)
Kotori: Ahhhhh....I can't hold it anymore!! (cry)
Hanayo: I am crying again!!!
Rin: This is so sad, nyah.....(cry)
Maki: Oh no....man, the way she runs looks so beautiful and yet.... (turns away and starts shedding tears like a kid....)

(But one final flashback cuts the scene. Years ago at a fountain near the beach, a young Mari meets Kanan and Dia for the first time. While young Dia hides behind the fountain because she is scared about being in trouble, young Kanan shows up in front of her and asks her "who are you?" followed by "Hug". Young Kanan wanted to give her a hug...)

(Then the rest pops up looking at her. Ruby comes out and tells her elder sis, "Welcome to Aqours!". Then she gives her an outfit. Dia finally accepts.)

Maki: Sigh, finally everything is solved.

Honoka: I am so excited how their entry will change things!
Kotori: I am hyped to see what costume ideas they might implement!
Nico: Aqours can finally start on their own at last. I am curious how their previous experiences, Dia's discipline, Mari's style, and Kanan's voice will shape Aqours. They should have learned lessons...

Eri: FANTASTIC EPISODE! I am so done! I wanna go home and go to bed! I am so tired! I like Kanan now!
Nozomi: This is the first time I have seen Eri get so worked up and affected by an episode before...
Eri: You too, Nozomi. Your reactions are very unusual.
Kotori: I think I might die from this episode!
Umi: I am also seriously mind blown, I can't put into words the awesomeness of this episode.

A/N: DONE! Wow, as you can see, I have been DYING to write this page and I did all I can to make this so dramatic. AND SO LOOOONNNGG, I can't believe it. Also, I have published this as of my birthday today.

I get tired, sick, and too busy to do anything because of my damned new home.

And as I said in previous page, it is VERY EXPENSIVE for me to go outside. I may get wifi again NEXT YEAR, unless I get lucky so pray for me.
