"Rei, Kei, promise me that you will take care of each other okay...? Promise me that you will support and help each other because you are brothers in arms not in blood..."A young woman whispered, her soft voice verbating through the eerie empiness of the orphanage. It had been years since the orphanage had been rebuilt and it was only the three of them, the young woman with dark brown hair and  dark blue eyes, the young boy with black hair and dark brown eyes, and the other young boy with light green hair and bright yellow eyes which both are not not older than 13, the survivors of the great fire that had killed many orphans and workers who were in the orphanage that year, and their screams still haunted the orphanage after so many years.

"We promise Miss Amara..." The young boys said softly but determined, promise that they will stand together as brothers, not by blood but by arms, no matter what, and the young woman, Miss Amara smiled softly, pulling both boys into a hug.

"I'll always love you both, Rei and Kei....remember that...."  Miss Amara whispered, hugging the two boys, Rei and Kei, tighter to her, but no one expected another tragedy to happen, this time changing the course of the lives of two orphaned boys forever, one that will leave both of them to be the greatest vigilante of all times...well, not until a certain rat and hobo found them.
