Erica was sat in the Gryffindor common room. The Herd agreed to meet up but so far, it was only her.

"Erica? What are you doing here?" Neville asked.

"Huh? Neville?" Erica turned,"Well, I was supposed to meet the others but they aren't here yet."

"Where are they?" Neville sat beside her.

"I don't know." Erica shrugged.

That's when the rest of the Herd showed up, Ron and Harry sitting on the couch, Hermione sitting on the armchair and Parker sat beside Erica.

"Shove off Nev. Erica doesn't want to be bothered by her boyfriend 24/7." Parker hummed and looked at him, before she frowned and let out a laugh, "I'm sorry, you know I'm joking."

Erica rolled her eyes, Parker had been getting meaner recently. She'd write it off as a joke but Erica... She wasn't really buying it anymore.

"Sleep well, Er?" Parker asked.

"Oh, it's been great." Erica told her, not telling her anything truthful.

Parker smiled and nodded, leaning back. Of course Parker could read right through her. The things she learned over the summer helped her.

"So what did you want to talk about?" Hermione asked Harry.

"Well, I've been thinking about things and I think Draco's up to something." Harry told them.

Parker sat up slightly, "How come?"

"He's been acting sketchy all year." Harry explained,"You have to have noticed.

"Of course I have. It's even worse at home, never comes out his bloody room. I can hear him talking to himself." She sighed, "I don't want him to make the wrong choices. We promised to be better."

Erica nodded, she'd been asked to keep an eye on him by Harry and she'd noticed these strange behavioral patterns.

"We could all keep a better eye on him, stay close to him. Parker, try get any information you can get on him." Ron nodded.

"That would help us out." Hermione added.

"Of course. And what about you guys?" Parker crossed her arms.

Harry looked around,"We'll try our best but he'd be way more suspicious of us."

They all nodded.

"We'll all try our best, Harry.' Ron sighed.

"Thanks, guys." Harry smiled.

"We're not going to let Voldemort win this battle. Not after all the lives we've lost." Parker shook her head as she stood.

"Definitely not." Erica agreed.

"Right. Is that all?" Parker looked around.

"I think so." Harry nodded.

"I have a detention with Snape. I'll keep an eye on him, he's been with Draco a lot recently." Parker sighed.

"Sketchy." Erica muttered.

"Hm?" Parker glanced down at her friend.

"What?" Erica raised a brow.

"Oh, nothing. Bye guys." Parker waved before she wandered off.

"Bye." Erica's eyes followed after her.

"You alright, Er?" Hermione asked.

"She's up to something." Erica stood up.

"How?" Harry raised a brow.

"She's on our side." Ron sighed.

"Have you seen how she's been acting?" Erica asked them, surely she couldn't be the only once.

They all just gave her a look.

"..I've noticed it." Neville finally spoke.

"Finally." Erica sighed,"She's been a b*tch to us all and you know it."

"She's never been mean to me. Only since the start of term." Neville shook his head.

"I know." Erica ruffled his hair and walked out.

The trio shared a look before they shook their heads, Neville following Erica, "So whats the plan?"

"We're following her and Draco." Erica explained,"I'll figure it out from there."

"She's going to Snape. Can't we just be careful?" Neville asked.

"We will." Erica assured him.

"Good. I don't want you getting hurt." Neville smiled softly.

**

"Professor?" Parker knocked on Snape's office.

"Enter." Snape spoke.

"You don't have to be so formal all the time." Parker rolled her eyes and walked in, closing the door behind her.

"I do." Snape told her.

"It's only me, not like you're talking to others..At the Manor." Parker looked around at the potions.

"Well, just in case you're being followed." Snape shrugged,"I need to have a serious talk with you both."

"Draco's busy with Astoria in the library, professor. I wouldn't want to disturb them." Parker picked up a vial and twirled it.

"Well, he has to be more confident in this plan." Snape began,"And you need to watch your mouth."

Parker looked at him and put vial down.

"The way you speak to others, it'll make them suspicious." Snape warned her.

"And what others are we talking about?" Parker sat on the desk.

"Potter, Granger, the Weasleys." Snape listed names.

"They're my friends.' She defended, "Besides, I'm 'on their side.'"

"Erica. She's onto you." Snape informed her,"She may not appear the brightest but there is something in there."

"Then I'll be extra careful." She smiled, obviously it was a fake one.

"Drop that smile, save it for your mother. It's not a good look on you." Snape shook his head.

Parker glared at him before she dropped it, "I'll have you know I have a nice smile."

"Yeah, whatever you say Miss Lestrange." Snape rolled his eyes.

Before Parker could say another word, the door was knocked on.

"Hello?" It was Draco.

"Mr Malfoy, come in." Snape turned to the door.

"Took you long enough." Parker looked at him.

"She's got a point." Snape nodded.

"I was doing things." Draco shrugged.

"Well, you have a job to do." Snape reminded him.

"Yeah, I'm getting it. Not like you're helping." Draco scoffed.

"I've been covering for you both all year." Snape told him,"You're not exactly very good at being inconspicuous."

"The only person who suspects me is Weasley. Meanwhile everyone thinks its Draco." Parker shrugged.

"It's because he always acts so nervous, Always checking behind him." Snape explained.

"Stupid." Parker pushed him

"It's not my fault, I'm just nervous." Draco defend himself.

Parker just rolled her eyes and looked at Snape, waiting to see what he would say next.

"Here, take this." Snape handed them a bottle of mead.

The cousins looked at each other before they turned back to Snape.

"What's this?" Draco asked.

"Mead. It's poisoned." Snape informed them,"I didn't think I could trust you two to make it yourself."

"Why not? We're top students, aren't we not, Professor?" Parker tilted her head.

"Actually, Weasley is the top student. It's a sudden improvement and I'm actually impressed." Snape admitted.

"Taking after Poor Percy." Parker muttered.

"You two aren't half bad but a barely traceable poison like this? Unlikely." Snape told them.

"So why do we have it?" Parker looked at him.

"Isn't it obvious? To kill him with." Snape sighed.

"Dumbledore?" Draco looked up at her.

"Who else are you going to kill?" Snape gave him a look.

"What? Scared, Dray?" Parker looked at him.

"N-no." Draco stammered

"Good." Parker nodded and jumped off the desk she was sat on.

"Hurry along, you two. I have a meeting soon." Snape ordered.

Parker hummed and bowed to him slightly before she left his office with Draco. Snape sighed, he hated having to cover for these two constantly.

"You're so stupid, you know that isn't. Right? They're having not just Erica watch you. But everyone." Parker whispered to Draco as she placed the mead in her pocket.

"They're stressing me out. I never know where Weasley is, you know what she's like!" Draco rolled his eyes.

"Which is why.. You look everywhere." She looked down the corridor, "Keep walking and don't speak about this. She's walking with Neville."

Draco nodded, unaware that the two people they spoke about had heard their entire conversation.

"What are they up to?" Neville looked at Erica.

"Whatever it is, it's not good." Erica shook her head.

"The others won't believe us. We need to get more information.' Neville leant against the wall.

"Oh, I will. I know what I'm doing." Erica closed her eyes.

"Just be careful. I don't want you getting hurt." He shook his head.

"I will, that's a promise." Erica gave him a smile before running off.

"Erica!' Neville groaned before he looked around, quickly walking off.

Erica had run to the Hufflepuff common room to gather up some supplies. Her spy gear, mainly. She had to get to the last of this. Draco, she didn't really care about. But Parker? That was her best friend, she needed to find out. She needed to know if she was going to loose her most trusted ally. Once Erica had gotten all of her supplies, she left the common room, only to see Parker walking down the staircase. She panicked and ducked into the nearest secret passage way. Phew, that was close. She peered through the small eye holes and watched her enter a room she hadn't even noticed before. Parker looked at the bird in the bird cage, sitting down as she stared at it. It took a minute or two but Draco walked in after her.

"I've been waiting.' Parker turned to look at him while she petted the bird.

"I had to double check that I wasn't being followed." Draco sat his bag down.

Parker nodded and lifted the bird out, "This is birdy."

"That's a stupid name." Draco rolled his eyes.

"Shut up or I'll slip some Mead in your drink." She threatened.

Draco quickly shut his mouth. He might make threats like that but he knew Parker would actually do it. Parker smiled before she dropped it and pulled the cloth off the wardrobe. Draco let out a small sigh, was he really going to do this?

Parker opened the door, tilting her head before she walked over to Draco, "You put him in."

"But-" Draco began.

"Go on. Don't be such a pussy." She whispered.

Draco looked down at the small bird in his hands and gently sat him inside the wardrobe. Parker hummed and closed the doors. Draco watched the doors closely as a familiar face snuck inside the room.

"Give it a moment." Parker knocked on the doors.

"What else am I going to do?" Draco rolled his eyes.

After a minute, they heard a knock back and Parker opened the doors. When she did, they seen the bird, laying on the floor of the wardrobe..Dead. Draco bit his lip slightly, he really liked that bird.

"Now we know it works." Parker cleared her throat, she didn't know that they were going to kill it..Just take it.

Draco knew what this meant but he didn't want to believe it. Parker took a second to compose herself before she turned to him. Draco raised a brow and looked at her.

"We need to go, now. Get to dinner." Parker sighed, walking past Draco.

Draco looked down before quickly hurrying after her, leaving Erica in a far corner of the room, questioning what she saw.

**

"Hey guys." Parker sat down beside her friends.

"Parker." Hermione looked up,"Have you seen Erica?"

"No? How?" She asked while she got her plate.

"She's been gone for ages." Ron rolled his eyes.

"She'll come back, she always does.' Parker shrugged as she stood, "I need to see Dumbledore."

"Did he ask for you?" Harry raised a brow.

"Yeah. There's been sightings of my mother in Diagon Alley." She shook her head.

"Not good." Hermione sighed.

"I know. I'll let you guys know what he says." Parker sighed.

"Thanks." Ron nodded.

By the time she reached the Gryffin statue in front of Dumbledore's office, someone was already waiting for her.

"Hello?" Parker raised a brow.

"Parker." Erica turned around.

"Erica." Parker nodded, "Where have you been? The others have been looking for you."

"Just around." Erica shrugged,"It was a very nice wardrobe, y'know."

Parker tilted her head, "What?"

"The wardrobe." Erica stated,"I saw you two with it, you and Draco."

"Erica.. What have you been doing? I think you need to go get some food in you." Parker walked up to her, putting a hand on her shoulder.

Erica lowered her eyes and swatted away her hand,"I'm not letting you poison him."

Parker just looked at her, "Poison?"

Erica sighed,"I'll let you go... Just know that I know."

Parkers grin slowly faded into a glare, "You best run back where you came from." She whispered before she walked to Dumbledore's office.

Erica watched as Parker entered. There was a thought in the back of her head that slowly became more clearer...

Soon enough, Parker got upstairs, "Professor?"

"Ah, Miss Malfoy." Dumbledore looked up from his papers.

"You requested me?" She shook her head.

"Yes, I have a question for you." Dumbledore nodded.

"Of course Headmaster, anything." Parker held her hands behind her back.

"Do you have any information, on the Death Eaters, I mean." Dumbledore asked her.

"All that I know is things I heard during summer. Although I'm not allowed in the meeting room." Parker sighed.

"Ah, I see." Dumbledore nodded,"I suppose that will be all."

"I do have a few questions of my own, though." Parker spoke.

"Oh, you do?" Dumbledore tilted his head slightly.

"Yes. Do you mind if I make some tea? I didn't grab some water at dinner." Parker pointed to the teacups.

"You can have some if you like, I had tea with Minerva a few minutes ago." Dumbledore told her.

"Would you mind having another? I don't want to be drinking alone." Parker chuckled.

"I don't suppose why not." Dumbledore shrugged.

Parker smiled to him before she turned and began making the tea, "So, the Herd and I were wondering a few things."

"About?" Dumbledore raised a brow.

"We need to find the horcruxs. Do you have any idea where they could be?" Parker asked, taking about the Mead and poured it in the tea.

"That's what I've been trying to figure out but I haven't been very successful." Dumbledore shook his head.

"We know where the locket is. It's in the same place my cousin died." Parker sighed, shaking her head.

"It will be very hard to get someone in there." Dumbledore nodded, picking up his cup.

"Yes, but my cousin knew how. I'm assuming.. He came to his Headmaster, told him." Parker drank her tea.

"Or, he wasn't alone?" Dumbledore suggested, raising his cup to his mouth.

"Guess we'll never know." She slowly lowered her cup, watching him.

Dumbledore drank the poisoned tea but... Nothing happened?! Parker knew she couldn't change her emotion, he would notice. She could see him trying to get into her mind, bad move.

"Are you feeling okay?" Parker asked him innocently.

"Oh, oh yes. I am." Dumbledore answered, setting down his cup.

Parker finished her tea before she stood, "I have to go."

"Alright." Dumbledore nodded his head,"Have a nice evening."

"You too." Parker turned and dropped her act, leaving the room.

Fawkes then flew beside Dumbledore, cawing at him.

"I'm keeping a close eye." Dumbledore nodded.

Fawkes tilted his head, cawing again. Dumbledore looked at him, wiping his chin with a napkin. Fawkes shook his head and pecked at the cup.

"She really did it?" Dumbledore shook his head.

Fawkes nodded, he was clearly unimpressed.

"My, my." Dumbledore sighed, "Just like her mother."

Fawkes gave a sort of disgusted look, if that was possible,"Caw."

Dumbledore nodded in agreement, "I took some anti poison, I had been warned beforehand."

"Caw?" Fawkes tilted his head.

"Miss Weasley." Dumbledore answered.

"Caw." Fawkes nodded, he seemed to understand.

"As you were, Fawkes." Dumbledore nodded to him.

Fawkes gave Dumbledore one last look before flying back to his perch. Once Parker left Dumbledore's office, she immediately went to Snape's office. Why didn't it work?!

"Snape!" She called out.

Snape sighed and turned to her,"Yes?"

"It didn't work." Parker spat at him.

"Well, it should've." Snape told her.

"Well, it didn't. Do I have to tell mother that you failed to give me the right brew?" Parker tilted her head.

"I gave you the right thing." Snape told her.

"Then why didn't it work?" Parker pointed her wand at his throat.

Snape merely glared at her,"Perhaps, he knew you were going to poison him."

"And how would he know I was-" Parker slowly stopped herself once she thought.

"Understand?" Snape raised a brow, lowering her wand with his hand.

Parker rolled her eyes, "I understand completely."

"I told you that you should've been careful." Snape shrugged.

Parker cursed and quickly sped out the office, rubbing her hands. Snape sighed and sat down, starting to look through his papers. Parker was furious, how could she? What she needed now was to find out where she was.

"Guys." Parker ran up to the trio.

"Parker?" Harry raised a brow,"How'd it go with D-"

"I have a really bad feeling. I can't find Erica anywhere and I'm worried." Parker shook her head.

"We haven't seen her either." Hermione sighed.

"Can you help me find her?" Parker asked.

"We're not just going to sit by while she's missing." Ron stood up.

"Let me know if you find her." Parker nodded before she quickly walked over to the Slytherin table.

"Hm?" Draco looked up at her.

"She knows." Parker sat down.

"She knows?" He asked, setting down his book.

"She knows." Parker shook her head, pulling out the Mead, "I put it in his tea. Someone must've told him."

Draco froze,"She knows more than we thought."

"What do you suggest we do?" Parker asked him.

"There's an obvious answer but it would be very suspicious." Draco sighed.

"Well, we could." Parker just shrugged.

Draco sighed,"Are you sure?"

"Let me talk to her, first. I have an idea." Parker told him.

"Good luck." Draco sighed.

"If you find her before us, let me know." Parker ruffled his hair before she skipped off with a hum.

Draco nodded and sighed, putting his head in his hands. Parker walked past students and teachers, going in and out of the corridors. She needed to find Erica. She didn't have a clue where she was bit she had to find her and quick. That's when she had an idea, she swiftly moved to the secret walls and walked in. Erica was usually always in there. If she was spying on them, that's definitely where she'd be.

"Erica?" Parker called out, sniffing.

She was letting a few tears fall. She heard some rustling but Erica didn't appear.

"Hello?" Parker looked around.

"Go away." Erica called back.

"Er, you gotta talk to me.' Parker continued walking down.

"I don't want to." Erica told her.

"I don't know- I don't know what's happening." Parker wept.

Erica stayed where she was. She knew she was right. Parker and Draco were Death Eaters, they had to be... Right?

"My mother. She's in my head." She shook her head, "She's making me do all these evil things, and I don't want to."

Erica looked down. No. Parker was her best friend, why would she do this? There was still a nagging feeling in her mind that told her not to doubt herself but...

"You have to trust me, Er." Parker wiped her face.

Erica turned the corner to look at Parker.

Parker looked at her with a shaky breath, "You're my best friend, I don't want to hurt you."

"It's not like it would effect me much, we've been hurt before." Erica looked down.

"I know, but I don't want me to be the cause of your pain. I would hate myself forever." Parker walked up to her.

Erica slid down to the floor.

Parker sighed and slid down beside her, "I want you to know, that whatever I do.. Isn't of my own choice."

"Right.." Erica nodded.

"I don't know what my mother's doing, she's controlling me somehow.' Parker sighed.

"Well... I'm here." Erica sighed.

Parker lay her head on Erica's shoulder. Erica didn't move.

"I just miss you. I miss us hanging out. Everything's ruined." She whispered.

"I know." Erica nodded.

"I'm so sorry." Parker sighed.

Erica wanted to say,"You better be" but she stayed silent.

"..The Death Eaters. They're coming tonight..I need to stop them." Parker sat up.

Erica nodded again, why now?

"Stay near Harry and the others.  I don't want you getting hurt." Parker kissed her head before she ran off.

Although Parker didn't care about what happens.. Deep down, Erica was her friend. Erica stayed where she was. She wasn't planning on anything, nobody would find her.. That's when she heard more footsteps, ones she knew

"Erica?" Neville shouted.

"Nev?" Erica turned.

"Erica?" Neville walked to her.

"Yeah, I'm here." Erica nodded.

Neville sighed and crouched down, "Are you alright?"

Erica shook her head and leaned against him.

"What's wrong?" He hugged her.

Erica just broke down crying in his arms. She couldn't put her thoughts into words. Neville sighed and rubbed her back. She hated showing her weakness to everyone, especially Neville.

"It's okay, Er.' Neville assured her.

"It isn't, nothing's okay! I don't know what to do." Erica shook her head.

"We'll figure it out." Neville nodded.

"Yeah, yeah. You're right." Erica sighed.

"Have you seen Parker do anything else?" He asked.

"Yeah, but she said she was being controlled. I don't know what to believe." Erica shook her head.

"Well, we can believe her.. But still have our suspicions?" Neville suggested.

"Let's do that." Erica nodded.

Neville cupped her face and wiped her tears away. Erica smiled. Neville just seemed to understand her, they got each other.

"Come on. Let's go get some dinner.' Neville smiled back at her.

"Yeah." Erica stood up, holding her hand out to him.

Neville hummed and took her hand before they left to the Great Hall.

"I think it worked." Parker sat down beside Draco.

"Thank goodness." Draco sighed.

"What? Did you not believe in me?" Parker asked.

"Well, I thought she was so sure about us." Draco told her.

"I'm her best friend." Parker shrugged.

"And?" Draco raised a brow.

"She'll believe me." She winked as she took his apple.

Draco sighed and continued reading his book.

"Have fun, Dray. See you tonight." Parker hummed before she walked off.

"Same to you." Draco called after her.

**

Parker walked through the halls of the Manor, she had been called down to the main hall, why? She still didn't know.

"Ah, Miss Lestrange." The voice of Voldemort spoke,"How nice of you to join us."

Parker looked over at Voldemort himself, nodding her head to him, "I was requested?"

"Yes, you were. I have a task for you for when we invade." Voldemort told her.

"And that task is?" Parker held her hands behind her back.

"Kill Erica Weasley." Voldemort ordered.

Parker blinked slowly, why would he want that? Erica hadn't done anything wrong.

"May I ask why?" She hesitantly asked.

"She could foil our plans, it's for our own good." Voldemort stated.

"Forgive me, sir.. But Miss Weasley has done nothing wrong. I was actually hoping to ask you if we could... Spare her?" Parker spoke slowly.

She knew she was showing a weakness, even though she's on the other side, Erica and Parker were always best friends. She couldn't imagine no Erica.

"It can't be done." Voldemort shook his head,"She knows almost everything, too much."

"I can obliviate her." Parker nodded.

"Do what he says, it's easy!" Her mother Bellatrix laughed.

Parker looked over at her mother, biting her inner cheek, "I've never killed anyone..Sir."

"The first time is always the hardest but it's great to remember." Voldemort told her.

"And if I fail?" Parker asked in a hushed tone.

"Quite simple really." Voldemort shrugged,"I kill you both."

Parker closed her eyes and nodded, "Of course, My Lord."

"Thank you." He smirked.

"I won't.. I won't fail you." Parker nodded before she turned and left the room.

**

The rubble of Hogwarts was everywhere. Students, Death Eaters, dead. Erica had lost Harry and the others, although she has turned into a dead end.

"F*ck." She silently cursed, turning around.

When she turned around, she seen someone in a cloak, walking towards her, a Death Eater mask on their face. Erica drew her wand, aiming it at the Death Eater. The Death Eater quickly used Expelliarmus, Erica's wand flying away.

"Fine, you got me." Erica spoke sarcastically.

Erica saw the Death Eater slowly lift their mask from their face, only to see it was.. Parker?

"I knew it!" Erica shouted, going to grab her wand from the ground.

"Confringo!" Parker pointed her wand to Erica's, and just as Erica went to grab it, the wand exploded.

"Now that's just rude, isn't it?" Erica turned to look at Parker.

Parker looked at her old friend, "Hello to you too."

"Don't 'hello me." Erica rolled her eyes.

"Erica, you're my friend." Parker sighed.

"Friend? Friend?! You're working with the enemy!" Erica reminded her.

"And you were stupid enough to believe me when I said I wasn't." Parker scoffed.

It was easier this way. Get Erica to hate Parker, so she wouldn't feel bad for what she was going to do.

"That act never fully convinced me." Erica crossed her arms,"What are you going to do now? Kill me?"

Parker just raised her wand, cocking her head the side.

"So that's a yes?" Erica raised a brow.

"..I have to." Parker shrugged.

"Well? Don't make me wait for it." Erica held her arms out.

Parker looked around before she did a small chuckle, shaking her head as she pointed her wand at Erica, "Crucio."

Erica fell forward onto her knees. She tried her best not to scream but it was clear she was in a lot of pain.

"Voldemort said it would be great to remember. So why don't I make it even more memerable?" Parker asked while she casted the spell again.

Erica cried out in agony as her friend cast the spell on her.

"How will Percy react? You're not even fighting back." Parker laughed, "Poor Freddie and Georgie.."

"Shut up!" Erica screamed.

"Or what? Want it over with?" Parker crouched down beside her.

"N-no!" Erica stammered, trying to get to her feet.

"What is poor Erica Weasley going to do?" Parker whispered in her ear.

Erica tried to speak again but the pain was too much and she fell over again.

Parker shook her head as she stood, "I always knew you were weak. That's why mummy favoured Ginny over you."

"She d-didn't have favourites!" Erica shook her head.

"I'm sure." Parker shrugged, "Why has no one came looking for you, huh?"

"They'll come." Erica assured her, almost trying to convince herself.

"Where are they then? Hello?! Ron? Molly? Anyone?!" She shouted before she turned to Erica, pointing her wand, "I'll make sure you get something nice."

Parker paused and Erica looked up at her weakly.

"..Avada Kedavra." Parker whispered as a green light came from her wand.

It took a second for the light to fade from her eyes and for Erica to fall to the ground. Dead. Parker let out a shaky breath as she dropped her own wand, did she really...

"What have you done?!" A familiar voice cried out.

Parker quickly closed Erica's eyes for her before she turned. Percy was stood behind them, hands trembling.

"It has to be done, Perce." Parker admitted.

Percy ran past her and crouched down beside Erica. His little sister was just laying there, dead.

"It was either her, or both of us." She backed up.

Percy said nothing. Parker felt her mark burning so she quickly ran off.

"Perce?" Oliver jumped off his broom.

Percy didn't turn around but he did gently shake Erica just in case there was a chance she'd get up. That this was a joke.

"..Oh my.." Oliver slowly walked up.

Erica's lifeless body just stayed still, this wasn't a joke.

"I-I-" Percy stammered, unable to form a sentence.

"Percy, hun...You need to let go of her.' Oliver blinked, shaking his head.

"I can't leave her here." Percy shook his head.

"We'll.. We can take her to the others." Oliver put a hand on his shoulder.

Percy looked up at Oliver, tears brimming his eyes.

"It's okay, Perce." Oliver whispered and hugged Percy.

"I couldn't say sorry..." Percy whispered back.

"I know, I know. She knows though." He rubbed his back.

Percy held on tightly to Oliver.

"..Come on. We need to fight, for Erica." Oliver shook his head.

"For Erica." Percy nodded slowly.

Oliver helped Percy stand, turning him away from Erica, "We'll come back for her."

"Promise?" Percy asked.

"I promise." Oliver nodded.

Percy took a shaky breath and nodded his head. Oliver took Percy's hand before they left.
