The hustle and bustle of New York roared around me. Flying through the busy streets, with the wind hitting my face calmed me slightly from my brewing anger.

I drifted to halt, landing on the road, pacing forwards.
Tyres screeched, horns blasted, drivers yelled in frustration and confusion. Then, the world seemed to pause in time.
Civilians took in my figure, soon fear was all I could see. Parents grabbed there children urgently ushering them to safety. Some ran for there lives, willing to get as much distance between me and them.

The world around me blocked out as the local library came into focus.
Time for my dramatic entrance.
I watched with a smirk at the glass window turned to ice, shattering before me. Purple flame grew up the walls, as a hurricane twirled around me.
People shrieked in terror as they ran, scattering into the now deserted streets. I laughed in amusement.

That's when I saw here cowering behind her desk, indeed desperately scouring for something in a great hurry.
Silently, I edged towards her, leaning against her desk, watching as a mischievous smirk tugged at me lips. Slamming yet another drawer, she lifted her head quickly scanning the room around her then going back to her frantic state. That's when she paused, swallowing a scream as she slowly looked up at me with terrified eyes.
She dropped everything in her hands as they shook violently at her sides.

Her mouth opened and closed as if she was deciding on what to say.
Slowly, she stood to her full height on shaky legs, as she took small steps backwards till her back hit the wall.

"Where is he?" I questioned prowling towards her as her eyes widen in fear slightly.

"I-I have no idea what your talking about." She stuttered

"You know exactly what I'm talking about now, where is he?" I held my arm across her shoulders pressing her harder against the wall.

"I-I don't know." she refused to look right at me.

"She trusted you, you were a close family friend, she relied on you! But just like him you were a traitor! You worked at HYDRA and knew exactly what he was planning and what he would do!" I spat at her as she winced and my words, shame crossing her face.

"When you heard that my mother was killed you droped out of HYDRA feeling guilty, yet you have ears into HYDRA and are still welcome! You knew I would be coming for you and it was only a matter of time before I found you." I said gesturing back at the gun she had been scurrying for yet dropped when I arrived in surprise.
"You thought changing your name and appearance then working as a librarian would do it, that I wouldn't find you. But darling you were so wrong." I laughed at her horrified, pale face.

"I haven't seen you in, oh about 8 years and you can't say anything? Not even a simple heartless sorry?" I threw her body harder against the wall, glaring into her sorrowful eyes.

"Tresmae, I-I didn't kn-know." She spluttered as tears stung her eyes.

"DON'T YOU DARE CALL ME TRESMAE!" I screamed

"AND OF COURSE YOU KNEW, EVERY SINGLE HYDRA AGENT KNEW DAMN RIGHT WHAT WAS HAPPENING!" I paused taking a deep breath.

"What is he planning?" I questioned through gritted teeth, resisting the urge to give her great pain that I had suffered over the past years.

"A-a enemy, b-bigger and stronger." Her voice cracked as tears rolled down her cheeks, and for one small moment I felt pity for her.

"And?" I urged

"I-I don't know." She sobbed

"So, an enemy bigger and stronger." I paused "Why would they need an enemy? And what are they planning to do with there new 'enemy?'" My voice raised as the possibilities flooded through my mind.

"J-just kill me know, w-we were told not t-to answer to y-you, and i-if we saw y-you were to warn HYDRA r-right away." Her shaky voice filled the mysteriously quite air.

"But did you?"

She shook her head instantly.
"N-no I didn't h-have much of a-a warming that you were coming. But w-when he finds out that I-I told you, h-he will torture me horribly, t-till I answer all his questions. H-he's nothing like the man he used be. Just k-kill me now, and e-end it all."

My eyes widened as no one had spoke the truth of my farther to me anymore. I dropped my grip on her, taken back by her words.

"P-please, just k-kill." She wept.

I looked down at my feet following her pleads as I bought out my gun wanting to make it fast got her. I looked up at her disappointed, soddened face. My finger leant on the trigger.

"I'm sorry." She whispered, but it was to late, her body fell to the ground, lifeless.

Sirens played in the background growing closer, circling the entrance.
I slipped my gun back into its hold, shutting my eyes, gathered my breathing and thoughts as I processed what she had just said.

"COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR." The voice commanded from outside. I chuckled, this would be fun.
I strutted out of the now ruined library into the bright light of mid day New York.

"Good day officers, long time no see." I smirked resting my hands on my hips, gaining the centre of attention. Police cars surrounded me as all officers had there guns pointed right at me.

"PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR." He commanded, swallowing his fear.

"Gee, hello to you to." I muttered. "Ya know I really fell honoured, SHEILD finally informed you about me, and you informed everyone else." I chuckled at there annoyed faces.

"NIGHTHAZE PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR, YOUR UNDER ARREST." The head officer commanded ignoring my previous statement.

"And what if I don't." My tone changed as I strutted towards him. He tightened his grip on the gun taking a slight step back.

"OTHERWISE WE WILL, fire." his voice cracked as I stood arms length from him.

"Threatening are we?" I smiled at his slight fear.

"Thee Avengers will be here soon." He spoke proudly of the unlikely group of superheroes.

"Really?" I spoke in mock excitement "How lovely of them to join us."

"WE ASK YOU TO DROP ALL YOUR WEAPONS." He yelled regaining his confidence.

"Hmmm, sorry no can do. I'm not good with other people touching my stuff." I shrugged trying to hold back howls of laughter.

"WE WILL NOT HESITATE IN FIRING, NIGHTHAZE."

"Really? Go ahead, be my guest." I answered folding my arms across my chest.

He cleared his throat, then there was the click of a gun, then soon enough there was a yell of 'Fire' soon there was a hail of bullets all headed towards me.

"Bad idea." I shook my head and with a simple flick of my wrist there was a flash of purple and all bullets stopped, they clanged as they hit the concrete around my feet. With my other hand I swiped it across my body as a gust of wind left all officers unarmed, in shock. Then all at once with both arms I pushed forwards as all officer cars surrounded me flew into the air, then to be pulled back down by gravity. Police officers ran for cover as I stood in the centre of the commotion.

Then as soon as it all started, I flew into the air leaving bewildered officers and civilians with a simple purple rose.
