I stared at Fiona the pieces finally falling into place in my mind. She has always looked like my mother. Fiona looked at me with a smirk on her face. Then she sighed.

"Okay so story-time Little sister." She announced as She sat in the seat that Sherlock had pulled up to my bed. Juniper quickly sat on the bed next to me. I sat up cross legged and pulled the oxygen tube out of my nose.

"First of all you aren't my full sibling. You are Mortimer's daughter." She said as she set her purse gently on the ground.

"What!! how??" I exclaimed.

"Well you see I was born first, My dad, Dr. Daniel McLaughlin. And our mom... well they are my parents. Mom got worried about how Daniel would feel about having a child as they were not married so she... Left, She ran away and found your dad. Mortimer. They eventually got married but Mortimer never had the same relationship and love for me as he did with you, so mom thought she had better..." Fiona takes a breath as if she is recalling a particularity painful memory.

"She better what?" I prompted gently.

" She'd better send me away. She sent me to her sister and her sister raised me... Meanwhile you sat in the lap of luxury and learned how to be the perfect criminal." Fiona remarked bitterly.

"A life that I never wanted." I replied pointedly.

"And a life that I would have killed for..." Fiona admits.

"So that's why you hate me so much?" I ask.

"I don't hate you Keyland, I just could never understand you." Fiona said pulling up her leg to sit more comfortably.

We sat there in silence observing each other.

Juniper broke the silence as she remarked. "But you eventually worked for Mortimer... Or else you never would have joined us."

"That was Liem's doing, he was one of the people who knew about me... He thought we should get to know each other. He often told me had circumstances been different we would have been best friends." Fiona said with a sad smile.

Juniper's face went a bright red when Liem's name was mentioned.

"Speaking of Liem where is he?" She asked nonchalantly.

Fiona caught my eye and gave me a nod, Mycroft must have told her about what happened.

"June..." I started softly.

"What?" She asked as panic spread across her face.

"Liem...well, he is working for Moriarty." I stated plainly.

"No way..." She snorted, then she studied my face. "That's impossible you are lying! Liem would never do that!!!" She exclaimed.

"Darling I don't think he had much of a choice." I stated softly.

Juniper's face fell and tears started to form in her eyes. She hopped off the bed and made a break for the door. Ripping it open.

"June!" I called out after her, as the door she had opened banged off the wall of the room.

"I'd better go after her, you are in no position to be moving right now." Fiona said softly. "Oh! And before I forget I snuck something in for you." She brought her purse up onto the bed and unzipped it. I looked expectantly at the black bag, and suddenly a furry little head popped out of the purse.

"Purlock!" I exclaimed as the cat crawled out of the bag, and onto my lap, purring contentedly.
