Jake and Esperenza were walking in a corridor. "I have to go," said Jake. He saw Esperenza nod in understanding, the boy dragons were having physical activities now. He flew to outside of the building. He saw Mallory and Selena and before he could reach the outside of the building Mallory pushed him into a vacant classroom and Selena followed them in. "When did this start?" Mallory interrogated and Jake felt his heart sink.

"You know?" Mallory circled him. Her blue eyes flashing.

"It's pretty obvious," she snarled. "Now tell me, when did this start?"

"I don't know, when Lucas told me his family was fine, when he said "Especially Esperenza" I felt my face burn up." Mallory released him and stepped back and ferocity died from her eyes.

"You are aware what this means right?" Jake heard her ask. "It means you could've had these feelings for a while now, and only realised them now." Jake saw her sit down and her eyes grow dark. "Selena," she said,"I want a private moment with my brother now, do what you wish." Once Selena had left Jake heard Mallory speak, albeit quietly. "I too have had these kind of feelings for awhile now, and I'm too scared to admit... to.. the SeaWing... that she haunts my dreams." Jake was shocked, Mallory had just admitted she was lesbian and Jake didn't know who the SeaWing could be. "I'll let you go to your thing now, and I'll find Selena, I don't want her to get lost or something." Jake wasn't sure if the last part was meant as a joke.

After the activities Jake felt like his legs wanted to give away under him. "Here," said a voice and a pale gold SandWing passed him moss soaked in water. Jake looked up after taking a sip of water, who he was staring up at was Esperenza. She was smiling as he drunk.

"Thank you, Espy," he said. Then he saw his younger sister Cassie walking over to them, and her eyes shone when she saw them. Wondering what that was about, Jake saw that Mallory had found Selena. "Any of your relatives gay?" He asked her.

"None that I know of, why'd you ask?"

"No reason except Coral said something about one of her siblings being gay."

"She did? I wonder what one."

"Yeah..."

"Don't you think they look cute together?"

"Are you saying what I think you are?"

"Yes, I am."
