Oh and before I start, a thankies to Au51in for reminding me to write a Jaya scene! I haven't written one in.. 3 CHAPTERS?!😱 Sue me!

Anyways, onto the story! XD

Third POV

"Come on Kai.." Nya muttered to herself, wandering around the room. She was about to hang up when she heard a voice come from the speaker.

"Hello?"

"Kai! What took you so long?!" She slightly snapped.

"Sorry, a lot happened and I-"

"It's okay. Meet me at my room. We'll find our way from there." Nya interrupted him.

"Okay, see you in an hour."

"An hour? Do you know how late it is? Kai!" Nya whisper yelled before Kai hang up. "Ugh.." She groaned, letting out a sigh.

She sat on her bed, staring at her Samurai helmet. She sighed and got up once again wandering around the room. It was too late to swim or do anything except for sleeping, but thanks to her brother, she couldn't even do that. She just had to wait for him to meet her outside her room.

Suddenly, she heard a loud noise coming from outside. She pulled the blue curtain aside to see a small balcony on the other side. 'Wait.. there's a balcony?' She face palmed. How could she not have noticed this? She went outside to see what that was all about and well..

"What the hell?!" She looked at him in surprise. "Care to explain?" She crossed her arms, waiting for his response.

"Well, you see.." He said, standing up. "I was going over to Cole's room to play videogames, but I tripped and fell. And.. here I am!" He awkwardly threw his arms in the air. But she wasn't really having any of it..

"Well, okay Jay. So what if I told you that Cole's room is on the other side of this building? And what if I also asked you why you didn't go through the hallways? And maybe why of all rooms you ended up over here?" She smirked, raising a brow.

Jay gulped. "These are some very good questions.." He took a brief pause. "That I cannot answer.." He sheepishly smiled at the ravenette.

"Look, I don't have time to play all that Romeo and Juliet stuff. " She said, narrowing her eyes.

"And why is that?" He said, giving her a suspicious look. It's not like she could tell him the truth right now, so she had to lie. "Can I at least come inside? It's kind of freezing out here.." He once again said and smiled.

Nya sighed. "Fine. Come inside." She opened the balcony door behind her, both of them heading inside. Jay looked at her room in awe, pretty much fanboying about every single thing there. From her Samurai Armor to the room's swimming pool and even the small daggers she kept in her backpack.

"Beware people! I am the Samurai X and I have come here.. to destroy you!" Jay maniacally laughed before taking the Samurai Helmet off. "I'm still surprised you managed to implement a voice changer in your helmet!"

"Yeah.. It was pretty hard but sounding like a man really pays off sometimes. They take you more seriously.." Nya rolled her eyes at the last sentence. Jay saw this and thought for a way to cheer her up a bit.

"Are you implying something about my voice?" He said in the most offended, dramatic way possible.

Nya giggled. "You are good with jokes, huh?" Before he could respond they both heard a rather loud knock on the door, causing Nya's heart to skip a beat. She quickly pushed Jay towards the balcony.

"Get out of here, now." She whispered.

"Wait, what?" Jay whispered back. Nya could hear the footsteps behind her getting louder so she quickly pushed him off the balcony, leaving him hanging on the railing.

"Do you realize that I could've been dead right now?" He gave Nya a glare before someone grabbed her shoulder.

"Hey, I'm here. Sorry I came so early. Or more like told you I was coming so late." Kai chuckled, pointing to the open door behind her, to see it unlocked.

"Okay, why does everyone keep breaking in my room tonight?!" Nya slightly snapped.

"What do you mean everyone? It's just me.."

"Oh! Um, yeah, a bird came in while my balcony door was open. It was.. quite the experience, I guess." She said, rolling her eyes. Kai nodded in response, still a bit confused. He just told her he'd be waiting outside for her. Once he left, she quickly helped Jay up.

"You know I'm not deaf right?" Jay scoffed, turning his head.

"Come on~. Deep inside you're a cinnamon roll bluebird and you know it." Nya teasingly pinched his cheek.

"Where are you going now?" Jay asked, slightly frowning.

"Doesn't matter, just get out of here, okay?"

"Goodnight, I guess?" He continued giving her a sheepish smile.

"More like good morning, judging by the time.. See you tomorrow." She waved before heading back outside her room to meet her brother.

"What took you so long?" Kai said, raising a brow.

"Nothing much. Let's go." And with that, the siblings went downstairs, all the way to the chambers, to find the one thing they were looking for.

Pythor.

"Do you think he'll be in here?" Nya questioned, searching all the cells, one by one.

"He's their biggest enemy, just like he's ours. Don't you think they'd keep him locked here?" Kai ironically said.
"I think I found him!" He shouted from the other side of the hallway.

"What is it with you humans waking up people like that?! Don't you appreciate beauty sleep?" Pythor snapped from the other side of the metal cell.

Nya soon walked up towards them. "Oh trust me Pythor, your appearance is even worse than your personality." She glared, giving him a smirk.

"What do you want?" Pyhtor hissed.

"We want answers."

"I already explained this to you. I'm not the one you're looking for." Pythor narrowed his eyes. "And if I tell you, you'd be dead the moment you stepped in there."

"Tell us. Now." Kai said, holding a sword over his throat. "We won't get hostile unless you speak." He said.

"It's Makia okay? S-she controls them! I don't know how!"

"Who is she? And what does she have to do with our parents?" Nya asked.

"She's probably the one behind all of this.. Even us the Serpentine fear her and her Vermillion army." Pythor continued before a noise of loud footsteps interrupted him. They could feel the steps getting closer. Much closer.

"Where can we find her?"

"She's taken over the Fire and Water Temple. Don't go there okay?"

They both quietly ran off upstairs, just a few moments before they could hear the person's voice arrive at the cell, speaking to Pythor. A few seconds later, the voice completely disappeared.

"At least we got something out of it.."
Nya sighed, before heading back to her room. "Night Kai.." She yawned.

"Night sis." Kai eventually left an headed over to the second floor, where his room was located just to find a note laying on top of his pillow. He picked it up and read it to himself.

I know you were there. Why did you talk to him?

He couldn't recognize the note's handwriting but it certainly wasn't a familiar one. 'Maybe it was that person we saw..' He put it in his jacket's pocket and laid on his bed, thinking. Pythor told them about his Makia person.. The Temple of Fire and Water.. That must be where the Blades are.

Maybe he shouldn't think about it too much. But then again, that was their parents they're talking about. He didn't really know what to do, but one thing he knows is that it won't be easy.

Yeah.. I posted a subplot chapter! Mainly because of the Jaya *cough*. But you get the point.
