"About damn time." The figure says. The voice is too deep to be anyone but Fury.

"Language..." Steve mutters under his breath.

"Cool it." I elbow him in the side.

"I was wondering when you two were gonna find your way back. This is a nice room you've got here." He comments.

"Not to be rude, but why are you here?" I ask suddenly.

"What, you didn't know you were being watched?" Fury states plainly.

Steve stands in front of me, practically shielding me. I walk around him and cross my arms.

"Watched? By who?" Steve asks.

"He's here."

"Who's here?" I ask.

"The Winter Soldier." Fury answers. I freeze in my place. Steve does the same. Fury chuckles lightly, finding humor in his thoughts. "And I thought you would've figured it out before we did."

"What are you talking about?" I ask.

"He followed you here. We found out after you left the U.S.. That's why I'm here. To warn you. He's here." Fury explains.

Steve walks into the bedroom. He grabs his suitcase, unzips it, and then pulls out a loaded handgun. I follow him and pull out my handgun from my bag as well.

"Why couldn't you have informed us sooner?" Steve yells from the bedroom. He hands me extra ammunition for my gun.

"I didn't want to disturb you." He says simply.

"Cut the crap, Nick. Why didn't you really tell us sooner?" I demand.

"Fine. You want the answer, I'll give you the truth. The real reason we didn't tell you sooner is because the team was threatened. There was a surprise attack at the base. The team managed to hold them off, but Barton and Romanoff were seriously injured. Banner hulked out."

"Banner hulked out?" Steve questioned.

"And he's the main reason Romanoff and Barton are injured."

"I know Bruce. He would never do anything to hurt anyone unless they were an enemy force." I cut in.

"It was an accident. Simple as that. Romanoff and Barton were a little shaken up, but they forgave Bruce." Fury finishes.

"Then how did you manage to escape from the chaos?" Steve asked.

"Private jet and I kept a couple of secrets. Pulled a couple of strings. And now, I'm here."

"Is there anything else that we should know?" I ask.

"Yes. He's watching us right now. I can see him from the corner of my eye."
