I LOVE SONIC! HECK EVEN MY username is DJSonicX! And I know a lot about him! This part took me a long time to make also I put in a lot of effort into this. So here are 20 facts about Sonic the hedgehog

1.Sonic was actually going to be called Mr.Needlemouse and then they later changed it to Sonic.

And was also going to a bunny in one point

2.The concepts of Sonic's fast game gameplay came from when his co-creator played the first level of the original Super Mario Brothers over and over again as fast as he can.

3.Sonic was originally going to where goggles and the goggles would allow Sonic to breathe underwater.

4.Michael Jackson was actually brought in to compose some music for Sonic 3, but do to some child abuse thing he did. Also he didn't like sound that came out of the SEGA Genesis.

5.Sonic's first appears was in a game called rad mobile.

But his first playable appearance was in Segasonic the hedgehog. Its was a Japanese only arcade game that's had Ray the fly squeral and Mighty the armadillo.

6.Knuckle's favorite food is fruit and his favorite fruit is grapes.

7.Sonic 2 has a lot of unused levels/enemies

There also another zone called Hidden Palace Zone. Hidden Palace Zone was an unfinished zone that was left in the game. Originally you would teleport to the zone after you collected all Seven Chaos Emeralds.

But, when you hack the game... It looks like the game shitted it's self and its completely unplayable

These two unused dinosaur robots and a robot bat, that were going to be used in the Hidden Palace Zone

8. There is an unused enemies named Spat

Spat has no programming attach to it but has appears multiple time in the Sonic comics

9.Before Sonic Adventures, there was game for the SEGA Saturn, called Sonic EXTREME.
Story: Dr.Eggman made a Bigger DeathEgg, so big that it can rip a planet out of its orbit and its up to Sonic to stop him.

The game was scrapped due to the game having lots of issues with the staff.
Then SonicTeam decided to make a game called Sonic RPG. But after the success of 3-D videogames and that the game was leaked, they dropped the idea and started a new project.

Hey remember that Two head robot dragon from the first stage?😃....... Yeah me either. This unused Robodragon was going to be the first boss you fight when Tails is flying the plane in the first flying stage. But by hacking the game, you function its movements. But its doesn't do anything just flying, you can even go through it, like a ghost......Hmmmmmmmm😕

11.Chaos is actually just a mutated Chao
(According to Sega's Japanese Website from 1999)

12.After the Japanese release of Sonic Adventure, SEGA splitted into two.
One half working on Sonic games and localizing them
And the other working on other Non-Sonic SEGA games.

13. Dr.Eggman and that uh... Other Echidna were originally going to be playable characters. They can be access by hacking, they can only jump and walk and can't interact with anything

14. Shadow was originally going to be named Terios witch means "reflection of" and Rouge the bat was originally called Nails.

15. Shadow was ACTUALLY going to died at the end of Sonic Adventure 2, but due to the reaction of the fans, they brought him for Sonic Heros and then you saw him in his own title

16. There was once a different branching story in Sonic Adventure 2. At one point in the game Sonic was originally going to be trapped in a submarine. You could either Escape the submarine or drive it to safety. SEGA really didn't do much on this branching story, so they decided to make a new branching story, with eventually became the Hero and Dark story sides

17. This one might surprise you, but Shadow the hedgehog was actually almost going to be replaced with Blaze the cat!

yep :3. Blaze was originally going to be the Shadow of the Sonic universe, but she was cut and replaced with Shadow the hedgehog and they decided to change her character design. She was actually going to look a lot like Shadow.

18. Blaze's origins from Sonic Rush says that she was a princess that came from an ulternet dimension, but in Sonic 06 was just a Fire princess from a dimension.

19.Sliver was actually inspired by Trunks from Dragon Ball Z. I mean they both came from the future and have similar characteristics.

20. Tail was originally going to be a female. :3
