My friends and family know me as someone who has no sympathy and hates fictional characters too much. So today I'm going to list them in categories because I feel like shit, and just watched a 5 part video about One Direction on accident. (Be warned I'm a bitch). Feel free to try and change my mind on any of these people. 

Ps. this is just characters that people universally like, not just characters I dislike.

Category #1 - Characters I Have Hated Since The Beginning.

Billy Hargrove (Stranger Things):
He just sucks in general. Like I feel bad for how his father treated him and everything but otherwise I do not like this man at all. I don't get how people fall in love with him. Like yes Dacre is attractive but Dacre isn't Billy and Billy would abuse you. Dying isn't a good redemption arc. 

Zoya Nazyalensky (Shadow and Bone):
So with Zoya, I've only read the books. I haven't read the ones with her and Nikolai yet, so keep that in mind. She's a bitch, I haven't seen how they represent her in the show yet but I don't like how she treats any of the main characters. Alina is minding her own business trying to live a childhood friends to lovers like the rest of us. Like this girl got everything she wanted as Darklings number 1 and was a bully. I applaud her for choosing Nikolai's side in the war but she still complained while Alina was silent and on her deathbed. I get where she was coming from with what she said to Nina but also a bitchy move. I just don't think she deserves to lead the new Grisha army, and from what I've heard get with Nikolai. Like that's what pisses me off the most that people ship Nikolai and her. She's been number one and like the best forever and she still gets that and to become the queen. Alina had to lose her power so she could be with Mal who also lost his ability and Nina didn't even fucking get to be with her dude. Anyway fuck Zoya. She might be the only one on this list that you can't change my mind on.

Teen Titans (Teen Titans Go):
So I like the original series and I love the characters in anything else. BUT THIS STUPID FUCKING SHOW. I get it's like a kids show but no. These kids should have had to watch Robin lie and lose his friends for 2 episode to protect them. They should have had to watch the slow burn that is Raven and Beast Boy, also Starfire and Robin. I just don't like this show at all and I miss the original one.

Category #2 - I Liked These Characters For A Season Or Two But Then They Went Downhill.

Sam Winchester (Supernatural):
Like Zoya, I am on season 10 so I haven't seen all of Sam. I liked him until Cas showed up. Like it was still iffy but I could see me like being in love with early seasons Sam, but after season 4 it went downhill for me. Every season I find a new reason to hate this man. I feel bad for him sometimes but otherwise I think he's a bitch. I am the number one Sam Winchester hater. Like Dean did everything for him, always looked for him. But the minute that Dean is missing or dead fucking Sam just goes off with some basic white chick. And he said twice to Dean that he would not look for him. Sam just pisses me off because he obviously doesn't want to be a hunter but he still is one and is a dick to Dean like it's his fault. I get Dean pressures Sam to stay a hunter but like Sam could just like start a family and ignore Dean. In Dean's dream world Sam is married/engaged and not a hunter. SAM STOP BLAMING DEAN FOR YOUR POOR RELATIONSHIPS YOU DUMB BITCH. Anyway I have more but I'm not in the mood to make an essay right now.

Laurel Lance (Arrow):
You guys get a little story with this one to know how disappointed I am that I don't like her. When I was a young child I watched Young Justice which introduced me to my love of Wally West and Flash in general. I also liked Black Canary, so when I kept getting Tiktoks about the Flash I decided I should watch it. But I am weird so I needed the backstory which was 2 full seasons of Arrow. I did not care for Arrow so I binge watched it in a week or less. I now like Arrow. But I loved Tommy Merlyn and Laurel Lance because it was that change up in relationships that I love. So when Tommy died I was inconsolable. But I wanted to watch the Flash so I soldiered on. The amount of hatred that filled me was surprising. There are two main things that made me hate Laurel so much that it never fully left. The first one is the fact that she cheated on Tommy with Oliver. I can't fully remember why she does it but I know she does it. Tommy hadn't flirted with anyone else, he had become a perfect boyfriend. That man was infatuated with her, and she still had the audacity to cheat with his best friend. SHE WAS CHEATED ON BY OLIVER SO WHY WOULD SHE DO IT WITH HIM. Number two is how she reacted to Tommy's death. I get why she began drinking, like if I could I would. What pissed me off was the fact that OLIVER, fucking OLIVER yelling at her was what got her out of her slump. Not my main man Quetin who had an addiction that she helped him out off. She listened to Oliver who again she should hate. 

Kara Danvers (Supergirl):
You could sway my mind on her easily because I don't remember why I hate her. I just know that I liked her in season 1 and then I hated her. I cannot recall why.

Category #3 - I Hated Or Liked Them For A Season

Scott McCall (Teen Wolf):
I could make an essay on this man. Any character who I have ever watched that has that golden conscious I don't like. Batman is the only exception. Characters with no kill rules annoy me, but I liked Scott anyway. I watched him grow and saw him in some of my favorite romance tropes, but- WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THIS MAN. Okay if it was like fucking Lydia telling him that Stiles killed a guy brutally I'd understand it but Theo. The guy who Stiles had said over and over was sketchy and who was being investigated by Stiles. Like Scott are you an idiot. Why would you believe Theo over your best friend. Seriously it annoys me how Scott was ready to kick Stiles out of the pack over him killing someone who was chasing him, but like was chill with Theo last season. Scott was chill with Allison too who was like brutal season 2. Anyway Scott season 4 was not my friend. The funny part is like the very next season the Teen Wolf creators have to remind us of their friendship so we don't utterly hate Scott and their friendship.

Rene Ramirez (Arrow):
This man is the love of my life. But he's a fucking hypocrite. He testified against Oliver because they were threatening his daughter, but the minute Oliver does a betrayal because his son was being threatened Rene is pissed. That whole plotline is so stupid. Oliver and Rene did the same type of betrayal for the same reasons and Rene got so pissy about it. But I fell back in love with Rene anyway. Anyway that whole plotline sucked and I can't think about it without wanting to yell.

Barbara Gordon With Dick (DC Comics):
So this isn't a character thing really. I don't know much about Barbra I just know that I hate her with Dick. Like they just aren't it for me. I just keep thinking back to how she cheated with Bruce once and almost got pregnant. Like Dick isn't the best in the relationship either. (Birdflash rights) but like I can't hate Dick for some reason. Anyway I don't hate Barbra utterly but I just have this distaste for her.

Felicity Smoak (Arrow):
THIS WOMAN IS THE TRUE LOVE OF MY LIFE. Like she barley makes this list but this plotline did make me mad so I had to put it in. My favorite oc I've ever made is Vivianna Gasko and she has a similar plot to Felicity. She gets with her slow burn and then goes insane. Felicity almost doesn't join Oliver in season 1 because she doesn't want to be involved with killing. I just don't like how she like completely changes after Oliver comes back from prison. I get why she does, I just don't like it. Anyway she's still my wife and I support her.

Teresa (Maze Runner): 
Unlike some basic bitches, I didn't just watch the movies. I read all of the books first. Including the two that weren't made into movies. These two heavily show Teresa's backstory with a bit of everyone else's (RIP Newt). But in the last book in the Maze Runner Series it's about when Teresa and Thomas were in the laboratory and helped make the Maze. It shows them befriending Newt, Minho, Chuck, and Alby. It also shows how Thomas decides to help everyone by not losing his memory. He tells Teresa because well they are besties and he thinks she's great. The story goes on and he convinced them to let him keep his memory but before he was sent to the Maze it's revealed that Teresa betrayed him. The second to last page shows that Teresa told them Thomas's plan and switched it so she had the memory's which if you reread the books after that then a lot of shit starts to make sense. Anyway before that betrayal I started to like Teresa, like you read in the book before how her family threw her out of their little campsite because she could be infected. Like Teresa goes through some shit. But then you remember the three main books and the last page later and you were glad she was left for dead.

Category #4 - I Don't Hate These Character's At All But I'm Not In Love With Them.

Yelena Belova (Marvel), Bucky Barnes (Marvel), Wanda Maximoff (Marvel):
These are all together because I have the same opinion on them. I like them all in specific films/tv shows. I love them in those specific things, can name which if asked. But otherwise I'm so neutral on them. Like I just don't understand how people fall so deeply in love with them. But I don't judge. They are all great characters, just not my cup of tea.

Oliver Queen (Arrow):
One of my big character pet peeves is the no kill rule. I fully understand it and I can stand it because most villains are minor and can be in jail. But some villains deserve to die. Oliver is not a full hate because he goes on and off with the no kill rule. Also from the beginning he's a douche so even a little bit of character development makes me like him.
