that's what my lovable parents named me when I was born in this world,but Im more known as Betty la Fea in Grade School till High School Years.Im a nerdy,wearing big high graded eye glass,with braces...so I don't blame them if they called me Ugly Betty.Actually I don't mind all the teasing and fooling around everyday.why??.Because I've got my BFF Lee Jaehwan, ohh and his also known as Nicolas,they call him Nicolas mainly because Im Betty and his the only one friend I have whose always their to protect me.,he secretly beat whoever teases me thinking I didn't know that,and always denied it if I asked him why the guy got black eyed the next day.But if you're a girl he'll just eat all your snacks...I think I should be the one to blamed why his so chubby in grade school.*sigh

Most of the time he always makes me laugh...he loves to do funny stunts,making funny faces,making animal sound and recently he did mosquito sound at it was hillarious,and most of all he always sang a song to me.when I'm around with him...I think I'm the most happiest girl in the world.

I still remember the first time we started as Best Friend Forever,I can't help but to smile everytime I think about it.

<~flashback grade school

I saw a little boy crying in the school bench while hugging his knees,I recognize him....his the kid who lose in the school singing competition earlier.I felt pity for him so I walked close to him.

"Hey...Ahmm would you stop crying if I gave you my chocolate?"I innocently asked him,he slowly raises his head up looking at me for a second and smile while nodding his head.

"Yes..!"he said and I excitedly pulled out the chocolate inside my bag and gave him.He reach out my hand to get the chocolate and tapped the bench close to him for me to seat down.

"What's your Name?"he asked me while opening the chocolate bar I gave.

"I'm Eun Juri....im in the next class as yours".I said while smiling at him watching him opening the wrap.

"Really.?but I didn't notice you.anyway I'm Lee Jaehwan,thank you for this". He said while waving  the chocolate bar and smiling at me.

I smile back at him but it immediately fade away when a group of kids stop infront of us and calling me Ugly Betty.I started to cry silently beside him as I look down,..he notice me crying and stand up leaving me alone in the bench.I curled my hands on my knees as I cry out loud when he left me and the kids kept on teasing.Suddenly we heard a dog barking so loud and all the kids got scared and run fast as they can leaving me alone in daze of what happened.

"You okay??!"
It was Jaehwan smiling behind me.
"Why did you leave me!!!?"I asked still crying.
"I didn't leave you..."he said sitting beside me again while passing me the chocolate bar I gave him."Check this out..."he put his two hands on the side of his mouth and started barking just like the dog we heard earlier.
"It was you??!!!"I asked in amaze.
"Yup!!"he said while nodding proudly."Eat that,so you too stop crying."he said while smiling motioning the chocolate bar I held in my hand.
"Thank you"
He giggled "from now on I'll be your Knight in Shinning Armor.okay??"he asked patting my head  while winking at me.
"Ne/Yes."I said as a eat the chocolate bar he gave.

~present high School

Since then we hang around together and just like what he said he became my savior.my knight in shinning armor my dorky BFF.Today is our Graduation Day,the ceremony just finished and I was waiting for Jaewhan at the Exit door of the gym were our Graduation Ceremony held.I want to invite him for a dinner with my family later.Tip toeing and tilting my head up trying to search him in a mass of people in the gym.finally found him walking close the exit.

"Jaehwan-ah!!!"he smile as soon as he found me calling his name while waving my arm.He walk close to me and I greet him with a hug.

"Congratulation to us!!!"I said still hugging him,tho I felt he was taken aback for a moment then  respond me with a hug too.

"Ahh...yeah!Congratulation to us".he chirped.

"Ohh...right before I forgot.Mom said to invite you tonight for a dinner.your coming right?"I said as I break out the hug smiling at him.but his face became gloomy when I said the invitation.

"Ahmmm...Juri.I can't go tonight."he said looking down,almost muttered the last word.

"Ohh...its okay.Is your mom having a celebration tonight too?"I asked nervously cuz I feel there's something he wants to tell me,and judging from his behavior its not something good for me to hear.

Instead of answering me back he pulled me in the School Garden and let go of my hand once we reached at the center.the Roses are blooming so beautifully and I reach out my hand to feel the pretty rose in my sight smiling appreciating its beauty.

"I'm moving to Seoul tonight."being shocked of what he said I unconsciously squeeze the stem of the rose were the torn is and it buried in my index finger.

"Outch!!!"I yelp in pain as I let go the stem shaking my index finger.tiny blood starts to spurt out and I automatically motion my finger to suck it but Jaehwan was quick enough to grab my finger and placed it inside his mouth and start sucking it while looking at me.Our eyes meet and I felt weird...,my heart was beating so fast that I felt my cheeks is getting warmer.I slowly look away as I become uncomfortable under his gaze.I clutch the hem of my blouse trying get myself together.

"Tha-That's enough!"I stuttered as I pull my finger in his mouth not looking at him."why leaving all of a sudden?"He let out a deep sigh and grab my hand once again but I tried to resist it,being stronger than me he manage to pull it out in front of him and all I did was glare at him."I want to follow my dream that's why,I hope you understand."he said and I just respond it with a snort.It was his dream,and I've got nothing to say about it....I know how much he loves to sing infront of many people.how could I not know that when Im the only friend he had.

"You should be more careful...specially now that I'm not around with you"he said while fishing a band aid in his pocket and wrap it around my finger.

"Go ahead....just keep on reminding me that."I sarcastically said while rolling my eyes at him.He smirked and both pinch my cheeks.

"Ahhhh   cute~"he said still pinching me.

"Outch!!!YAH!!!"

I tap his hands away from my face and place my hands rubbing the pain away while glaring at him and he was just smiling at me,but the smile morphed into a serious one and he placed back  both his hands on my hands that still in my face and pulled me to kiss.my heart skip a beat.I was caught off guard.I felt everything around me freeze for a moment.Im hallucinating that all the roses were floating around us.

My mind was blown away as I got surprise of what he did,My eyes went wide in shocked.my BFF was kissing me with his eyes closed and that's insane.

slowly he break away from the kiss and I'm staring at him in daze not blinking once,I don't know how to react with it and my hands still stuck on my face tho he already remove his hands against mine.Still keeping our close distance he kissed my forehead softly,and lock me in his arm.

"I won't forget you."he said before he let go and left me still in daze.

I felt my legs wobble as I slide down my hands helplessly And plump down on the ground gasping some air to breath.My mind was blurry,blanked,over whelmed and confused.He kissed me.?So he love me???my BFF loves me???!.I stand up to follow and confront him but something fall from the pocket of my bag.I furrowed my brows as I recognize that it was a chocolate bar,the same brand of chocolate bar that I gave him when we first met.I plumped again in the ground picking up the chocolate bar,there's a sticky note around it.

"My Juri
Please eat this chocolate so you won't cry too...i love you
but I can't say it to you because I know this time will come.
Leaving you behind and can't protect you was the hardest
thing for me.I'm sorry....I'm afraid you can't contact me during
my training,so please don't forget me.
Sorry If I took a bite on your chocolate....cuz I know I'll be crying
too.HEHE :p

I looked at the chocolate bar again after I finished reading the note and it was really-already opened and the chocolate bar had a bite too.

"Still trying to be funny till the end."I said as I eat the other half of the chocolate bar smiling while crying.
