"Okay class, you are all dismissed. Don't forget to do your homework."

"Haaai!!"

"Neeruu-chaan!! Let's go for some after-school snack!" Miku and Rin ran towards Neru's desk.

"Uhmm. Sure."

"Yo, Defoko let's go." Teto and Momo appeared in front of Defoko's desk. Defoko nodded slowly and packed up her stuff.

The two groups left without hesitating.

"How nice it is to have friends..." A student who is currently seated next to Neru thought to herself. "Is it because of my weird hair style? Should I make the first move? It has been a while since I have friends. Since elementary school." She sighed slowly and looked out the window. "Well, everyone in the class formed their own cliques, like Hatsune-san's wild gang or Kasane-san's robotic group. I'm probably too late by now." She let out another small sigh before packing up all her items and leaving the empty classroom.

It was about ten minutes before class started. The classroom is almost full. Students are copying homework. Some are eating breakfast. Yep, same normal day in highschool.

A light purple-haired student stepped into the classroom and headed towards her desk. She fished out her notebook and started her random doodling.

"Hey, Iroha, do you know who she is? The one with the epic hairstyle? She's kinda cute. In a way.." A student with two small braids hanging limply down her neck pointed towards a purple-haired student who is doodling bunnies on her notebook.

"Hm? I don't really know. But she was there for about two months already. Don't tell me that you haven't noticed." Her Hello Kitty friend answered.

"Uhhh.. heheheh.. so tell me what you know about her."

"She had not spoke to anyone before soo... i don't know." She looked down and fiddled with her Hello Kitty figurine.

"Okay then.. Do you want to hang out later?"

"Yea.. I can't. My order for the new Hello Kitty poster is arriving today." Iroha answered, still fiddling with her figurine.

"Fine then. Since Hello Kitty is a lot more important than a friend to you, I'm going to ask her out." She pointed at the quiet girl in the corner.

"Uhh.. yeah sure. Go ahead. Good luck trying to talk to her." She grinned, not looking up from her figurine.

"Geez you're no fun." She mumbled, heading towards the bunny lover.

"Umm. Hi there." She appeared in front of the purple-haired student.

She scannned around her before she gestured at herself. "Are you.... talking to me?"

"Her voice sound so mature!! I thought she had pitchy voice. Am I the first person in class who had heard her voice?!" She was surprised that the quiet, bunny-loving girl could even talk. What's next? Rin scored A's in tests? Miku started to hate leeks? Neru stopped texting? Teto hated breads?

"Ummm yes. I am." She fiddled with her braids. "You see... I noticed that you have been alone. So.... Do you want to be friends?"

"Ummm..." Her heart it thumping very loud that it might break free from her body. "Someone is finally talking to me... She might be doing it just from sympathy... Is it? What should I do??" She cleared her throat just to feel slightly less awkward. "Umm.. sure. But you don't have to push yourself. There is.. uhh... no need to befriend me out of sympathy."

"Hm? No. It's not out of sympathy. I find your hair quite unique. I mean, no one cuts the behind, leaving the front tied into two ponytails." She explained, carefully lifting up one of the ponytail.

"You're in no place to talk." She giggled softly. "So, what's your name?"

"I'm Aria. Call me IA. For some reason, I like that nickname. Yours?" She responded, smiling softly.

"Yuzuki Yukari. I look forward to spend some time together."

"Then, Yukari-chan. Do you want to hang out after school?"

"Eh? But we just... Okay.."

"Okay, class get back to your seats. Homeroom is starting." The sensei announced, stepping into the classroom.

"Talk to you later." IA smiled gently as she strolled to her seat.

"Okay class, you are- wait don't run!"

Teto and her gang ran off in light speed.

"Geez. What is wrong with them.." The sensei stepped out of class.

"Yukari-chan. Let's go. I heard that a new arcade was opened yesterday."

"Uhh, yeah." Yukari answered as she packed her stuff into her bag.

"Done? Let's go!" IA grabbed Yukari's hand and dragged her out of the class. On the way out, they collided with Miku, who was heading towards Rin's desk. "Ah! I'm sorry Hatsune-san!" IA continued to drag Yukari out.

"Wow. She finally got herself a friend." Miku thought as she reached Rin's desk.

"We're here!" IA announced, pointing towards an arcade.

"Umm.. Shouldn't we be at least 18 to enter?"

IA chuckled softly. "Don't be silly, Yukari-chan. Arcades are open for everyone. It's safe." She turned around just to face a huge 'R-18' sign placed in front of the door. "Whoa.... Didn't see that coming.."

Yukari gave out a small giggle before she was interupted by a hand suddenly grabbing hers and dragging her away.

"W-w-where are we going now?" Yukari asked, straightening her uniform.

"Let's go to a cafe. Besides, I bet you're hungry." IA replied quickly.

"I'm not hungry..."

"C'mon, let's go!"

"Hwaah. She ignored me..."

As soon as they stepped their foot in a small cafe, they are greeted with a strong coffee aroma. Lounge chairs are decorated with colorful pillows. Adults are seen sipping on their cup of joe. The cafe has this relaxing feel to it.

"Uhh.. Why don't you order the drinks, I'll get a table." Yukari suggested.

"Yeah. Go ahead. What's your order?" IA asked, finding the shortest line she could see.

"I'll have some milk tea."

"Good choice." IA smiled and head towards a line.

"Hmm.. empty tables... empty tables... Ah! Found one!" Yukari walked towards a table in the corner. She took out some tissues and wiped off some crumbs from the table. She sat on a seat and looked out the window. A drop of water landed on the window followed by another. A few seconds later, it was pouring outside with a few cracks of thunder. A number of people were running around, looking for shelter.

"Why did she ask me out again? I mean, there are a lot of people who has better personality than I do... Why?"

"Yukarin~." IA announced her arrival with a warm smile on her face. "Here's your milk tea." She sets their drinks on the table.

"Uhh. Thanks. By the way.. Yukarin?"

"Heeheehee. Yeah. That's your new nickname. Why? You don't like it?"

"Not really.... I never had a nickname before." Yukari looked down and stirred her drink.

"Oh My God! That's so sad.. Why?" IA stood up and leaned forward till her face is about ten centimeters away from Yukari.

"I'm.... not... sixteen. I'm actually.... seventeen and a half." Yukari replied with a smallest smile ever.

"Wha-what!? Then why are you in the first year?"

"I spent about two years overseas in a music and arts school. Then I have to start off where I stopped."

"Wow... Then let's go for some karaoke after this, since you studied music." IA suggested that made Yukari choke on her tea.

"*cough* Umm I *cough* don't think that's necessary... Besides, I'm low on funds."

"Aww... Nevermind then."

"Hwaah... The rain is not letting up." IA slumped her slender shoulder. "Do you have any umbrella?"

"Hm.. let me see." Yukari rummaged through her bag. "Nope."

"Let's run to my house. It's quite near from here." IA suggested. "On the count of three. One!"

"Two!"

"Three!"

They ran through the crowded streets. They had at least one close call on bumping into a total stranger. Their shoes splashed into a number of puddles. They were splashed by muddy water when vehicles sped by.

IA's head suddenly felt so heavy. The world felt as though is was spinning fast.

"Almost... there...." IA huffed before she blacked out.

"Urgh... Where am I? Why does my head hurt so bad?" IA opened her eyes slowly just to see Yukari's expressionless and wet face only inches away.

"Eeep!" IA sat up quickly, bumping her head onto Yurari's chin. Yukari stepped back, rubbing on her chin. "Ah! I'm sorry!" IA rubbed her head."What happened, Yukarin?"

"You blacked out when we were near to your house. I carried you here."

"How did you know that I live here?" IA asked.

"Well... You did say that we're almost there before passing out. So, I read every single nameplate here. Where are your parents?" Yukari sat next to IA.

"They are on a business trip." IA coughed a little and lay down on Yukari's lap.

"You might need someone to take care of you so, I called my parents that I'm staying here overnight. Is it okay?" Yukari pulled out a wet towel and placed it on IA's forehead. "You should've told me that you get sick easily. I'm really worried."

"Thanks, Yukarin." IA grabbed Yukari's hand and fiddled with her boney yet soft fingers. "Do you need a bath?"

"Sure."

The girls stared blankly at the showers. It's dried out. Not even a drop could be seen.

"What should we do? How did the pipe break down?"

"The pipe in the kitchen is fine." Yukari exclaimed, picking up a bucket. "I'll transfer the water here. You should rest."

"Okay." IA gave a little salute before heading back into her room.

Yukari spent about ten minutes walking back and forth from the kitchen to the bathroom with a bucket in hand, boiling and transferring water into the bathroom.

"It's finally done. I hope IA is okay.." Yukari thought as she walked into IA's room.

"IA-chan, are you o-" Yukari was shocked to find IA with her uniform unbuttoned and sprawled on the bed. "W-w-what are you doing!?"

"It's too hot in here... Yukarin.. come here." IA patted the area next to her.

"Uhh... Do you want me to wipe your back?" Yukari asked, sitting down next to her.

"Eh? Uhmmm....Not really... You don't... uhh.. have a change of clothes" IA answered as she got up and rummaged through her wardrobe. "Is this okay?" She held up a purple T-shirt and some blue shorts.

"Isn't it too small?"

"These are the biggest I have. Anyway, you may use the bath first."

The sound of splashing water echoed in the bathroom. The smell of flowers flooded the place.

"Is it really okay for me to be here? I mean, we just met today. Isn't our friendship going a little bit too fast? And why is IA's uniform unbuttoned? Isn't it a bit too cold for that? Is she trying to..... No! Oh my god! What am I even thinking!? There's no way she would like me that way. But she's the one who noticed me first..."

Meanwhile, IA is freaking out at the other side of the wall.

"SHIIIT!!! I almost did it! What was I even doing!? That was seriously close! It's a relief that I could hold myself back. Almost ruined our friendship there...."

The bathroom swung open as Yukari walked out.

"IA-chan? This shirt is too short. Do you have a longer one?"

IA faced Yukari and almost have a nosebleed. A lot of Yukari's skin is revealed (mostly at the belly area, duh..) and her thighs are mostly exposed.

"Uhhh... umm... No.." IA sat up and patted on her bed.

Yukari settled down next to IA. She leaned in closer to IA's face and placed their forehead together. "Seems like your fever went down. Isn't that a relief?"

IA could not hold it in anymore. She landed her lips onto Yukari's, pushing her newly-met friend down. Yukari's eyes are wide open like some saucers. Yukari accepted the kiss and closed her eyes slowly. Their fingers interlocked with each other. The younger girl stuck her tongue into the older girl's mouth. Moans escaped their soft lips. Their tongues twinned with each other. Their lips parted after a few minutes as they tried to catch their breath.

"IA-chan.... that was.... my first.... Thanks." Yukari smiled warmly which made IA's toes tingle.

"Uhh.. no problem."

Why Teto and her gang rushed out of class.

"C'mon!! The arcade is going to be full by now!" Teto grabbed her friends' wraists and dragged them along.

"Momo! You're too slow!!" Defoko huffed.

"Shut up... You're running at the same speed too!"

Teto screeched to a halt when they reached the arcade.

"Teto-chan? What hap- oh...." Momo's eyes rested on a huge 'R-18' sign in front of the door.

"Okay then, I'm going home.." Defoko turned around and walked off, leaving the other two standing in front of the sign like a couple of bakas.

"We did not see that coming..." Teto mumbled slowly, still staring at the sign in confusion.

"Agreed."
