Maplepaw and Mousefur walked into the shady hollow that they use for battle training. Tigerclaw and Ravenpaw were practicing an intricate fighting move in the far corner. Ravenpaw paused to look over at Maplepaw and Mousefur only to get pummeled to the ground by Tigerclaw.

"That teaches us a very good lesson always be focused," Tigerclaw says while getting off of the young tom.

"Sorry I distracted you," Maplepaw says as she walks up to brush pelts with Ravenpaw. 

"No biggie I might have a bruise tomorrow but I was probably going to get one anyway," Ravenpaw said while shrugging his sleek shoulders. Ravenpaw twisted around quickly to tug at a bur that got stuck in his fur.

"Let me help you" Maplepaw reached and untangled it from his fur. He quickly gave the fur a lick and padded back over to his mentor giving Maplepaw a look of thanks.

"Why don't we just see where you are ok?" Mousefur asks. MAplepaw is still looking at Ravenpaw and Tigerclaw. "Ahem," Mousefur says with frustration.

"Sorry... that sounds good I will fight Ravenpaw," Maplepaw says. "Ravenpaw come over here." She yells across the clearing.

"I didn't m- you know what, whatever." Mousefur groans. Ravenpaw and Tigerclaw stop again to walk over to Maplepaw. Tigerclaw had a sour look on his face but Ravenpaw just looked pleased.

"What's up" Ravenpaw asks.

"Well, Mousefur suggested that we do a little practice fight," Maplepaw says happily.

"Okay... come at me," Ravenpaw says while lashing his tail. Maplepaw pounces forward but misses as the tom leaps out of the way while batting her with his paw. Maple paw butts into Ravenpaw sending him sprawling to the ground then she jumps on top of him and pummels his face gently with her paws.

"Good work pinning him Maplepaw," Mousefur said in congrats. Maplepaw gets off Ravenpaw and gives her back a quick lick.

"Yeah, good work especially since you just fell from a tree." Ravenpaw teases. "I let you win," He says jokingly.

"You better have because that performance was awful." Tigerclaw growls. "We need to practice NOW" He yells. He stalks over to the corner slowly giving Ravenpaw dirty looks along the way.

"Mousefur can I tell you something?" Maplepaw whispered.

"Sure dear" The old she-cat replies.

"A cat or more like a voice told me along with a vision that Tigerclaw will destroy the peace of the clans. I'm worried for Ravenpaw... You can't tell anyone ok?" Maplepaw asks innocently.

"I can't help him unless I can tell someone..." Mousefur whispers back.

"Okay you can tell Bluestar and Spottedleaf and maybe Redtail but no one else ok?" Maplepaw says again. 

"Ok... Why don't you go back to camp and get Greypaw and Lionheart to practice here... you know to keep an eye on Ravenpaw and Tigerclaw." Mousefur says. The tip of the she-cats tail was twitching with nervousness.

"Okay... I won't fail you." Maplepaw rushes off into the forest leaving Ravenpaw and Mousefur alone with Tigercaw.
