Deadpaw looked around excitedly at his Clanmates. He could barely hear what Tallstar was saying through his own thoughts. "Deadpaw, do you promise to uphold the Warrior Code, and protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"
Deadpaw shook himself and quickly answered, "I do."
Tallstar looked back to the Clan. "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. From now on, you will be known as Deadfoot," Tallstar said proudly. "StarClan honors your loyalty and determination, and we welcome you as a full warrior of WindClan."
     "Deadfoot! Deadfoot! Deadfoot!" His Clanmates cheered. Deadfoot was disappointed. Deadfoot? Seriously? That's what I was waiting for?
    "Hey!" He shouted over the noise of the other cats. "Tallstar! What kind of name is Deadfoot?! I waited for this day for so long, and it's the same thing as Deadpaw!
     Tallstar shifted uncomfortably. "It's the only thing I could think of."
     "Well any name would be better than Deadfoot, it means the same as Deadpaw!" The newly named warrior complained.
     Tallstar sighed and then put a funny expression on his face. "Would you prefer Deadheart?" He smirked.
     "Deadfoot it is....." he pouted.
