"You caught that?" Reedpaw's surprised voice came from the apprentice den as she saw Cedarpaw's catch.
"Yep!" Cedarpaw smiled at her denmate's expression.
"You can share the fish with your kin if you want," encouraged Echostream.
"Sure!" Cedarpaw picked up the fresh-kill, and bounded to where Flowefeather and Leaffall were sharing tongues.
"Wow, Cedarpaw!" Exclaimed her mother. "That fish is almost as big as you!"
"Would you like to share it with me, I caught it today!"
"Of course," Said Leaffall. "Invite your sister too." Cedarpaw nodded and walked to the medicine cat den. Inside, Spiketail was quizzing Skypaw.
What are these?" He asked pushing a large leaf towards Skypaw.
"Chervil, no wait, comfrey." Said Skypaw uncertainly.
"Good job. Go take a break. Your sister wants to see you."
"Skypaw," Said Cedarpaw. "Do you want to share prey with Leaffall, Flowefeather, and me?"
"Is that ok Spiketail?"
"Yes. We will continue in the morning." He said.
"Where's Willowfly?" Asked Cedarpaw as they padded to their parents.
"She was gathering herbs today. It's almost leaf-fall so now is the best time to find some."
"Oh." The two apprentices then found themselves with their parents.
"Cedarpaw! That's amazing, I can't believe you caught that! It's almost as big as us!"
"I know right!"

"Cedarpaw, keep up!" Meowed Echostream. Cedarpaw's tired paws walked behind her mentor. She could see the island where the Gatherings were held. Her mentor said that she could go to the Gathering that night.
"Watch your step Cedarpaw," Said Berrybush as they came close to the fallen log. "It's easy to fall in off. I fell into the water before my first Gathering."
Stop fussing over me. I'm not a helpless kit!
"This is so exciting!" Lilacpaw bounded across the fallen tree to catch up with Cedarpaw. "It's your first time here! Look, the leaders are climbing the Great Oak!" The ginger apprentice then ran to talk with Clawpaw, her littermate.
"What are the leader's names?" Asked Cedarpaw to Tawnyshade, a Riverclan warrior.
"The black tom with the ginger stripe is Adderstar of Windclan." She said. "The small grey tom is the leader of Shadowclan. His name is Swiftstar. And then, Thunderclan's leader is Whitestar. Finally there's Larkstar, but you know her."
"Shh, the leaders are speaking!" Groaned Rosewhisper.
"Riverclan has been well this past moon." Stated Larkstar. "We have two new apprentices, Cedarpaw and Skypaw.
"Cedarpaw! Skypaw!" Chanted the clans.
"Don't cheer for them!" Yelled Swiftstar. "Shadowclan caught two Riverclan cats stealing our prey! Morningthunder and Marigoldpaw found them stalking one of our mice!"
"Riverclan is allowed to hunt any prey on our territory, we eat more than fish you know!" Replied Larkstar calmly, hiding her rage.
"With leaf-bare approaching, we need as much fresh-kill as we can! Your clan doesn't need more prey!" Answered Swiftstar.
"Besides," Larkstar ignored him. "What were your warriors doing on Riverclan territory?"
Swiftstar grunted but didn't reply.
"Can we continue ?" Asked Adderstar, clearly annoyed.
"Of course,"Said Larkstar.

Cedarpaw opened her eyes to find herself surrounded by leaves and ferns. The stars shone in a clear sky.
Where am I?
Cedarpaw saw a large figure walk towards her. A large blue-grey she-cat has seen her.
"Cedarpaw, listen," she said. "Only when the night sky and the storm reunite, cats of another will be saved to save the lake."
"What? Nightpaw and Skypaw?"
