Evelyn's POV:

We had entered the strange cave Jack had pointed out, having to duck under the hanging vines. It was dark inside and the noises we made echoed throughout the cave. As we walked further into it, Zak spoke. "We still need to name this place." "Yeah, but what?" Darryl asked. "Don't know, maybe something simple like how it is with the Woodland and Greenland. Since it seems kind of like a fantasy land, why don't we just call it maybe . . . ," Zak paused. "Greenwood? It's a mix of the Woodland and Greenland in a way."

"Hm, okay, we can call it Greenwood for now, that is if we ever come up with a better name," Darryl replied. "Okay, then, it is settled, the unknown lands are now Greenwood," I said. We all got quiet after figuring out a name for the island, the only sound heard was our footsteps. Jack, who was leading the group, made an "ow" sound, followed by a thud. He stopped, a few behind him bumping into him. "Why did you stop moving?" Nikki asked. "There's something blocking the way," he responded. "We must've reached the end then," Ant announced. "Come on." Ant and Velvet began to walk towards the exit of the cave, the rest and I besides Jack starting to follow.

"Wait, guys," Jack said. I turned around to look at Jack, who seemed to be shuffling with something in his pockets. He pulled something out and pressed a button on it, a light shone from it. He had a phone. He shined the phone's light onto what had stopped the group, and sure enough, it was a door. "Guys, look!" he said. We walked back to Jack, which was only a few steps as we hadn't gotten far.

"There's a sign on it," Velvet said, observing the letters visible on the front of the door. Velvet grabbed the phone out of Jack's hands, moving back so that he could shine the light on the sign. The group went silent for a moment. The sign said 'Do not enter'. "We should leave," Ant said. "Are you a scaredy-cat?" I asked. "What! No! It's just, haven't you seen the amount of horror movies where the characters come to a stop at a door with a sign similar to what this one says? Then, they go inside it and are met with some monster and they all die!" Ant answered.

"Okay, maybe you have a point, but what if it's just some old abandoned weird house?" I said. "Well, whoever wants to go in there can, but I'm staying out here!" Ant declared. "I'll stay with Ant, just in case," Velvet said. "Okay, scaredy-cats," I said, playfully rolling my eyes. "Alright, open this thing," I say. Jack tugged on the old doorknob, the door creaking as it opened. Me, Andrew, Jack, Nikki, Darryl, and Zak entered the room. It was dark, but Jack used his phone's light to illuminate the room a bit. There was a table to the side of the left wall with weird looking bottles on it, some filled with substances. "What is this? A science-lab?" Andrew said. "I doubt that. To me, it looks like a place where a witch would be staying," Darryl replied.

Nikki looked away. There was a chair in the corner, but it looked like something or someone was sitting in it. Andrew pointed to it. "Shine the light on that," he ordered. Jack did, and to our surprise, it was the black figure. "Show yourself!" Darryl shouted. The figure only stared up at them, only their eyes visible as the rest of their body was hidden with dark clothing. They stood up. "If that's what you wish," they said, looking down as they slid down their hood and removed their mask. They looked up at them, directly into the light. " . . . Lucas?!"
