Ann: Starting with Itachi, who we literally just did a battle on! This guy's a Shinobi who, spoiler alert, killed his entire clan before joining the Akatsuki! He can shoot fire and water as well as use black flames! Oh, and his eyes let him basically see all kinds of stuff as well as make super cool illusions! He's got all sorts of clones and can summon Susano'o for additional combat! He's one of the best Shinobi out there and definitely not one to piss off!

A wizard cursed by the Gods for trying to bring the dead back to life, this guy carries the Book of E.N.D and is highly skilled in Dark Magic! Thanks to the curse, he's practically immortal and with his Fairy transformation he can control time itself! There's a reason he's the known as the most evil wizard!

(Zeref: I've lived for many centuries and watched the rise and fall of different ages. People hate and evil causes conflict, but I'm looking forward to a new age that will purify all this. How many times has this happened... Where people make the same mistakes over and over again?)

Ann: Alright, everyone ready? It's time for D-B-X!

Both Itachi and Zeref were wondering the forest as they ended up passing each other. As they did, they both stopped.

Itachi: ... It seems you are one who may be a great threat...

Zeref: Funny, I was just thinking the same thing.

Itachi closed his eyes.

Zeref: So, what must we do now?

Itachi: I believe you already know.

Itachi opened his eyes and activated his Sharingan.

Zeref turned around and unleashed a wave of darkness that Itachi quickly jumped up to dodge.

Itachi: Fire Style! Fireball Jutsu!

Zeref: Dark Orb!

Itachi unleashed a huge fireball as Zeref countered with a ball of darkness. They clashed and caused an explosion that knocked them both back. Itachi landed next to a river and made hand signs.

Itachi: Water Style! Water Dragon Jutsu!

The water from the river rose up and took the form of a dragon as it shot at Zeref, who flew into the air to dodge it. As soon as he did, Itachi threw several kunai up in the air that stabbed Zeref's body. One of them nearly hit Zeref before exploding in his face. Itachi looked up at the explosion only to find Zeref flying down towards him.

Zeref: Dark Strike!

A burst of darkness surrounded his fist and Zeref went for a heavy punch to Itachi, who quickly jumped back to dodge it as he activated the Mangekyo Sharingan.

Itachi: Amaterasu!

Itachi unleashed a huge burst of flames at Zeref, who quickly saw this.

Zeref: It's pointless!

Zeref unleashed a huge burst of darkness that quickly overcame the dark flames. Itachi summoned his Susano'o which blocked the huge burst of darkness with its shield. As it did, Itachi immediately put Zeref under a Genjutsu. Zeref looked around as he was in an empty space. His body had turned to paper as he was immediately set on fire.

In the real world, Zeref was standing there helpless.

Itachi: It seems you were right... this is pointless.

The Susano'o took its sword and stabbed him straight through the chest, slowly beginning to seal him away.

Zeref: ... Enough!

Zeref immediately went into his Fairy Heart Form, bursting with magic power. Itachi's Susano'o summoned a Magatama and threw it at Zeref, who threw blocked it with his hand as it blew up with no effect.

Zeref: Dark Blast Inferno!

Zeref unleashed an even bigger burst of dark energy that Itachi was about to block with his shield. Itachi tried to slowly block it with his Susano'o but time suddenly slowed down before he could, letting the darkness go straight through the Susano'o and rip Itachi to shreds. Once the darkness was gone, there was not a single living thing left around Zeref.

Ann: Looks like Zeref's darkness was too much for Itachi's flames! And thus, time for the final episode of DBX!
