Kokonoe: There's no surprise that the Clone Wars was one of the most significant events in Star Wars history. However, today we're talking about a battle that happened during the early stages of the Clone Wars. On a distant planet far, far away, the Kleesh were at war with the Huk.

Junko: And for political reasons, the Jedi Republic helped the Huk. Much to the chagrin of one Qymaen jai Sheelal! A Kaleesh warrior who started to despise the Jedi for aiding the enemy. But his hatred for them did not end there. 

Kokonoe: Qymaen's ruthlessness in battle caught the attention of Darth Sidious and Count Dooku. Wanting Grevious by their side, they blew up his ship with him inside and blamed it on the Jedi. 

Ann: Yeah, because nearly killing a potential ally is... smart?

Kokonoe: The explosion may have destroyed most of his body, but he was later saved by the same people who blew him up in the first place, the Sith. They remade his body into something better. Making him a dangerous force now 96% more machine than man. And with a more profound hatred towards the Jedi than ever before, he had become... General Grievous.

Junko: Ask any of his victims, Grievous is a beast! Not that many of his victims are alive. The guy has killed hundreds of Clone Troopers and Jedi alike, being able to crush skulls and tear apart robots with his bare hands!

Kokonoe: Grievous is strong enough to tear through glass, metal, steel, durasteel, and transparisteel. He can also rip apart Mandalorian armor and force his way through Mother Talzin's shield, which was holding off force lightning from Dooku and Palpatine. 

Junko: He can easily survive the vacuum of space! He's been slashed at, electrocuted, punched through statues, thrown through vehicles, and even survived several massive explosions, one of which destroyed an entire city!

Ann: He's also incredibly fast, easily faster than the majority of Jedi he faces. He can move so quickly that it can almost be mistaken for teleportation as he goes beyond the speed of thought. He's dodged blaster bolts from dozens of Clone shooters, a gunship, and dodges a barrage of missiles. He's blitzed a group of clone troopers and Palpatine's personal guard, casually ran alongside a descending elevator, and has even dodged telekinetic blasts from Ki-Adi-Mundi by leaping out of the way. He's definitely a force to be reckoned with.

Junko: Grievous is cold, ruthless, sadistic, and arrogant, showing no mercy towards his enemies. With a deep hatred for Jedi in particular. Though he's not entirely heartless. He cared deeply for his people, especially Ronderu lij Kummar, along with his pet and EV-A4D. He's a very skilled tactician and an excellent commander despite how the 2008 Clone Wars series kinda made it feel otherwise. He's even trained the IG-100 MagnaGuard bodyguards.

Ann: Count Dooku taught him in lightsaber combat, and Grievous has learned all seven classic forms of Jedi arts, combining them with his own custom fighting style. 

Kokonoe: Form 1 focuses on attacks and parries. Form 2 focuses on defending themselves against an opponent with minimal effort while concentrating heavily on avoiding disarmament and utilizing jabs and light cuts. Form 3 focuses on defensive techniques to outlast an opponent. Form 4 relies on its fast, powerful strikes from multiple directions. However, it isn't recommended against users with blasters. Form 5 focused on powerful attacks and defenses immediately followed by a counter-strike. Form 6 is the everything form, proficient in all, master at none. And Form 7 channels one's emotions into wild, unpredictable strikes.

Junko: Grievous has slaughtered several Jedi, Sith, and clone troopers with his fighting style. Hell, the only reason Dooku didn't teach everything he knew was because he feared the General's full potential!

Kokonoe: Right. And despite not liking his cybernetic body, it comes with many benefits to help him in his goal to slaughter Jedi.

Junko: Oh yeah, because Kokonoe knows all about turning dying soldiers into cybernetic robots without their permission.

Kokonoe: Hey, there's a vast difference between Tager and Grievous. For one, Grievous is smaller despite standing seven feet tall.

Ann: Can't he use his claws to climb up on walls and stuff like Spider-Man?

Kokonoe: Yes, but Grievous has more than just that. He has combat algorithms in his brain to predict attacks and analyze a foe's style and movements to calculate the best course of action. His body is loosely modeled after a Krath war droid and is the reason for his enhanced speed and agility. His body is also made from a mix of duranium and durasteel, which has a high melting point and lightsaber hits. He can also split his arms in four, allowing him to wield four weapons simultaneously.

Junko: Each limb can attack three times in one second. All four together equaling twelve strikes per second, all from different angles. He can increase this to twenty strikes in one second if he ramps up the rate of said strikes. He can also rotate his arms and hands 360 degrees, letting him spin his lightsabers so quickly that he seems to be standing within a pulsing energy sphere.

Kokonoe: Grievous has LX-44 prosthetic legs. Said legs have magnetized talons, allowing Grievous to adapt to sudden shifts in gravity or repulsive forces, granting him the ability to crush and grip things. He also has built-in repulsor lifts, which let his legs wield weapons as well. His vital organs are protected by a synthskin gutsack, meaning he no longer needs food or rest to survive and can even survive the vacuum of space. He has other things in his cybernetic body, including a grappling hook, capture wires that tie up opponents in electrical cables, a wrist communicator used to summon droids, and a holoprojector, which is used to command high-ranking droids.

Junko: He even has a badass cape!

Kokonoe: Grievous' cape is made out of amorweave, which is resistant to blaster bolts and somewhat resistant to lightsaber blows.

Junko: It can be thrown at his opponent to distract them or blind them temporarily. It can also hold lightsabers... somehow. Speaking of Lightsabers, he has a lot!

Ann: They're not just any lightsabers. They're lightsabers he's taken from multiple Jedi whom he fought and killed in battle. He's collected hundreds of Lightsabers, but in battle, he only carries up to six and can wield up to 5 if he uses his feet and four arms.

Junko: With these babies, he can slice and dice through almost anything! 

Kokonoe: He also has an Electrostaff.

Kokonoe: A staff with electromagnetic pulse-generating tips. It's used to incapacitate opponents with electricity strong enough to stop a person's heart within five seconds. It's also strong enough to clash and repel lightsaber strikes.

Ann: Then there are his guns! Starting with the Grievance Striker! 

Ann: A custom-made DT-57 Heavy Blaster Pistol kept on his waist!

Junko: Wait, did you really start with the same gun that killed him in the first place?

Ann: There's also the E5 Blaster Rifle!

Ann: Another gun kept in his waist! Yeah, there's there's not much to say about this one, but he has the DC17 Hand Blaster!

Ann: This one is stored in his chest and is used as a last resort. It's the most powerful blaster Grievous has since it has low recoil and a high rate of fire.

Junko: Yeah, it's almost too bad Grievous isn't indestructible! 

Kokonoe: Grievous is arrogant and cocky, often retreating when things get real bad. 

Junko: It even gets him to lose against guys who are clearly weaker than him, like Gungans... FUCKING GUNGANS! And yes, that includes Jar-Jar Binks, of all people!

Kokonoe: He can be temporarily stunned by electricity, and his joints are somewhat vulnerable, allowing his hands and possibly even his arms to be easily cut off. However, this is mostly by lightsabers. And if one were to remove his chest plates, it would make his organs and allow an enemy to go for an easy kill.

Junko: In the end, Grievous arrogance and cocky attitude would get him killed by the legendary Obi-Wan Kenobi in that exact manner. But it doesn't take away from the hundreds of Jedi already killed by this mechanical monster. And he might just add one more victim to his collection.

Grievous: I'm no errand boy, and I'm not in this war for Dooku's politics. I am the leader of the most powerful droid army the galaxy has ever seen!
