Mukuro: Hope's Peak Academy, a place built for spreading hope to the world, has been turned into a killing game. Fifteen of its students calling themselves the Remnants of Despair traveled the world to bring despair across the globe. An all-out war has broken out just for the sake of war... bloodshed for the sake of bloodshed. This is the Biggest, most awful, most tragic Most Despair-inducing Incident in the History of Mankind... this was the Tragedy...

Neptune: And who better to start such an event than the Ultimate Despair herself, Junko Enoshima!

Dizzy: But why would she start such a terrifying incident? Well-

Mukuro: She was bored...

Neptune: ...Eh? 

Mukuro: Junko didn't have any particular reason to cause the end of the world. She didn't even hold any resentment towards the world. She was simply bored of it.

Dizzy: You know, I probably wouldn't have believed you. Junko Enoshima is someone who was born to bring despair upon everyone around her.

Neptune: And she's surprisingly strong too. This girl can throw a bed and its bedframe into the air and even snap the Ultimate Bodyguard's neck 180 degrees! 

Dizzy: She has destroyed a shelf full of anime, tossed a metal wrench of hard it got stuck in a wooden pillar, and even knocked out Makoto Naegi, who could survive a 100-meter fall down a garbage shoot.

Akame: She's also beaten the Ultimate Boxer, Juzo Sakakura, in a fight. This same boxer can punch through metal and steel and has taken damage from foes who can do the same.

Dizzy: And she's incredibly fast.

Dizzy: Even non-fighters like Yasuhiro could dodge gunfire from a helicopter and Junko is much faster than that. 

Akame: Right. She's capable of keeping up with Mukuro. There were even times when she could predict her sister's every move, and Mukuro is capable of moving so fast it was as if time slowed down around her.

Dizzy: And while controlling Monokuma, she was able to react to attacks from Sakura Ogami, who can move so fast it appears like she's teleporting.

Neptune: Heck, Toko and Komaru can dodge photon beams and Junko can even keep up with them! Plus, her durability is insane!

Neptune: I mean, she's literally survived almost every execution of the first game. This includes getting shot point-blank with hundreds of baseballs, rapidly spun through a motorcycle cage at such speeds it could turn the Ultimate Biker into butter, burned alive and crushed by a fire truck, assaulted by an excavator, and even being rocketed into space, then falling back to earth at such speeds it could turn a grown man to bones!

Dizzy: She once jumped from a third-floor window and landed in a bush hard enough to create a shockwave. And even took a casual beating from Izuru Kamakura before getting knocked out.

Akame: Junko Enoshima is certainly insane... I suppose it only ties back to her own personality.

Mukuro: She's easily one of, if not the smartest person in the series. She's skilled at manipulating others and seemingly plans out events several years in advance. This is all thanks to one of her three Ultimate Talents... her first is the Ultimate Fashionista and her second is the Ultimate Despair... but the one I'm referring to is her Ultimate Analyst talent.

Dizzy: Right. The source of Junko's boredom. It allows Junko to quickly analyze her surroundings with near superhuman fast and detailed thinking. Thanks to this she's an absolute expert at analyzing people, getting a read on their mentalities and emotions. She can often predict what a person is going to do before they do it, an ability she can use to defeat opponents much stronger than her.

Akame: Of course, being able to predict entire outcomes of situations before they happen can get boring, which is why she is fueled by despair which she thinks is unpredictable. Otherwise, she gets so bored even by her own personality, even getting bored of the personality that always gets bored. Because of this she constantly shifts her personality, which makes it rather difficult for people to get a good read on her.

Neptune: Wait, are we not gonna talk about Mukuro's behavior in that vid?

Mukuro: Of course not. It's not my battle it's Junko's but I will say that Junko's analytical abilities do go a step above as she can use them to copy the talents of others... though not to the same extent as Izuru as she can't do it perfectly. But she has managed to use this to copy the talent of the Ultimate Animator to create the Despair Video.

Mukuro: Through the use of color and other animation techniques, Junko made a video that tricked the mind into feeling absolute despair. With this, she can cause her victims to go insane or even commit suicide like she managed to get over 2,000 students to do all at once. She can even use the despair video to take away one's memory.

Neptune: Right. However, Junko's boyfriend at the time used it on Junko so many times that she eventually became immune to its effects and killed him. See? This is why you don't put your dick in crazy.

Mukuro: Hmph. 

Dizzy: Along with this she also has Monokuma.

Dizzy: This... admittedly freakish black and white teddy bear was originally built by Monica, a green-haired child with exceptional skill in robotics. Monokuma is strong enough to take on the strongest fighters in the world, fast enough to appear in two places at once, has sharp teeth and claws, and can self-destruct whenever he pleases. He also has plenty of spares, so even if you destroy one, another will just pop back up. 

Neptune: By the way, we won't be talking about the Monokuma in V3 since that version is controlled by a different mastermind in Tsumugi. So you won't be seeing Monokuma firing Kamehame-blasts. Besides, Junko also has the Monokuma units.

Mukuro: These versions of Monokuma are much weaker than the original one, but are still just as dangerous as there are many different versions of them.

Neptune: Let's see here... Bomb Monokuma's throw bombs, Siren Monokumas attract other Monokumas, and Junk Monokumas... ew, what the heck?! Burn it with fire!

Dizzy: Junk Monokuma's are clearly based on a certain Junk Pokemon and probably some zombie from Resident Evil. It's one of the tougher and more vicious Monokuma.

Akame: Guard Monokuma wear armor and carry shields to protect from projectiles. Meanwhile, Ball Monokuma will try and roll into their victims and crush them. They'll even throw trash in your face to blind you.

Mukuro: And the Beast Monokuma walks on all fours and behaves like a wild animal.

Akame: Junko also has a bunch of her own weapons.

Akame: She has Mukuro's combat knife, an ice pick, a baseball bat, a bunch of spears that come out of nowhere to stab her victims, several bombs, and a wallet that is secretly a bomb.

Neptune: Seriously though, how is she alive after everything she's done? I mean yeah, she's really hard to kill, but how isn't she dead?

Dizzy: Well... she did eventually die to her own killing game... but then she came back as an AI...

Neptune: Seriously? This again? 

Mukuro: Thanks to copying the talent of the Ultimate Programmer, Chihiro Fujisaki, Junko managed to split her consciousness into two separate AI and placed them in two separate Monokuma. Those being Shirokuma and Kurokuma. Thus becoming Alter Ego Junko.

Dizzy: As an Alter Ego, Junko has full control over the digital world. She can change her appearance into whatever she wants, turn an AI into a robot, make a disease, and take it back whenever she pleases, or even weaken the power of any other AI within the virtual world. She's done this with both Usami and Alter Ego Chihiro.

Akame: Junko is everywhere and can see everything. She can change the appearance of the Virtual World or even create giant robots called the Monobeast. Not only that but she's constantly growing in power as shown when she created 10^60 Monokuma's within it.

Neptune: And even outside the Virtual World, Junko has access to Big Bang Monokuma.

Neptune: Normally only members of the Towa family can use this... but I guess Junko can bypass that minor problem as an AI even if she's piloting it as a Shirokuma head.

Dizzy: This Monokuma is much stronger than the others. It's the size of a skyscraper and is capable of parting clouds. It can summon lightning, strike hundreds of Monokuma with its staff at once, and even fire large Monokuma balls that blow up in your face.

Mukuro: However, even I need to admit that my sister isn't perfect.

Dizzy: Right, despite having superhuman characteristics, she still has her limits. And it's not impossible to destroy the AI within Kurokuma and Shirokuma to destroy Alter Ego Junko from the outside. It would be difficult but not impossible.

Mukuro: My sister is also... a little too obsessed with despair. To the point that she will purposefully leave flaws in her plans, so there is a small chance her plan will fail and she herself will be consumed by despair. But even after death, Junko's influence of a world filled with despair continued to spread, to the point that children would murder adults, people would purposefully starve themselves, and someone... probably Mikan... would even try to impregnate her corpse.
