Kokonoe: The stage is set and the combatants are ready.

Junko: It's time for an Emo Death Battle!

Akame was on a helicopter that Junko was flying.

Junko: Alright Akame! Your target this time is a chick who isn't that much older than you! Her uniform looks like it has a weird eyeball on it, so you can't miss it.

Akame stood up as the back of the copter opened up.

Junko: I already did my research and I gotta say she's pretty strong. Think you can take 'er?

Akame: ... Of course.

With those words, Akame jumped out of the helicopter and down towards the small town beneath them. Within that small town, Ryuko Matoi was walking around the streets. 

Senketsu: Ryuko, watch out!

She looked up to see Akame flying down and swinging her sword at her. Without hesitation, she pulled out her scissor blades and blocked Akame's strike before pushing her back. Akame landed on her feet and got into a fighting stance.

Ryuko: Hey what's your problem?! You could have sliced my head off with that!

Akame: That was the plan...

Ryuko: What?!

Senketsu: Now Ryuko, let's calm down.

Ryuko: Screw that noise! If it's a fight you want, it's a fight you'll get!

Senketsu quickly turned to his fully synchronized state as Akame dashed at Ryuko and swung her sword. Ryuko, herself quickly blocked her strike with one blade.

She swung the other blade and Akame jumped to the side in order to dodge it.

Akame: (Her uniform changed. Is it her Teigu... or something else?)

Ryuko dashed at her and swung both blades. Akame was quick to jump back and dodge it as Ryuko swung her blades again to make a massive shockwave. Akame dodged it as it caused two buildings to be sliced in half in the distance. Akame then dashed at her and went for a strike of her own. The two girls clashed and made a shockwave around them, causing buildings to fall around them. They kept clashing over and over again until debris started to surround them. Senketsu immediately realized what was going on.

Senketsu: Ryuko stop!

Ryuko: Hm?

It was too late. As soon as the debris was thick enough, Akame jumped back and disappeared within it.

Ryuko: Hey! Tch...

Senketsu: It was a trap. She wanted you to lash out so she could strike you in the shadows.

Ryuko: No shit sherlock! Crap... I can't see a damn thing!

She suddenly heard something as Akame dashed at her from behind. Ryuko quickly turned around and blocked Akame's strike with her blade. She swung her other blade but Akame had already disappeared into the debris.

Ryuko: Dammit. 

Senketsu: Calm down Ryuko. We need to focus less on our eyes and more on our ears. Hear her approach.

Ryuko: Right.

Ryuko closed her eyes and listen carefully. Once she did, she could hear Akame's movements and began to block Akame's strikes in every direction before unleashing a shockwave to knock the debris away. Once it was cleared, she saw Akame right in front of her. However, this was also a trap as all that slashing caused three buildings to fall on top of Ryuko. Despite this, Akame stood her ground and got in a fighting stance.

Akame: (That won't be enough to finish her off. Still, she was definitely speaking to someone back there. If I had to guess, that uniform of hers is sentient, but only she can hear what it says.)

As she said that, Ryuko burst out of the rubble of the fallen buildings.

Ryuko: Gah! That hurt dammit! 

Senketsu: Yes, having three buildings fall on you will hurt.

Ryuko: Ha ha, very funny. Nice try lady, but it's gonna take more than a few little tricks to beat me!

Akame: That so? Then prepare to be...

Akame: ... Eliminated.

Akame suddenly vanished and reappeared in front of her. They both swung their blades and clashed, pushing each other back and creating a shockwave once they did. Akame went for another swing and Ryuko flipped back, kicking her blade out of her hand as it stabbed the ground behind her.

Ryuko: Heh. What now? Can't beat me without your blade!

Akame: Simple...

She got into a fighting stance.

Akame: I'll use yours.

Ryuko: Go ahead and try!

Senketsu: Wait Ryuko!

Ryuko didn't listen as she flew at Akame and swung one of her blades. Akame dodged it and broke her arm, forcing her to let go of the blade. 

Ryuko: Gah!

Akame took the scissor blade and Ryuko swung the other one. Akame blocked her strike and kicked her away, taking her other blade as she did.

Ryuko: Dammit!

Senketsu: I told you to wait.

Ryuko: Oh quit being a baby! Senketsu, Senjin mode!

Senketsu grew spikes all over her uniform, giving her a nice pair of claws along with them.

Akame: (Her dress changed form again. And her arm healed almost instantly.)

Ryuko dashed at her and swung both claws, but Akame already appeared behind her and split her shoulders wide open with the scissor blades only for them to come back together. They then both turned around and clashed blades.

Ryuko: Heh. That's the best you got?!

Akame threw an enhancer drug in the air before they both turned around and clashed. Akame kneed her in the gut and kicked her away before grabbing the drug and injecting it into herself. Meanwhile, Ryuko landed on her feet. She saw the Murasame blade and grabbed it as Akame dashed at her. They both swung their blades and clashed with each other, creating another shockwave around them.

Senketsu: She got stronger.

Ryuko: Then I'll just swing harder!

The two of them pushed each other back as their blades went flying in the air.

Ryuko: Senketsu! Shippu mode!

The spikes went away as her skirt turned into a rocket and she flew up to retrieve her scissor blades. The Murasame blade fell into Akame's hands while Ryuko flew straight at her swinging her swords. Akame quickly jumped to the side and dodged her strike and Ryuko came flying back.

Akame: (She's like a running bull. For now I need to avoid her attacks and find an opening.)

She dodged her strike again and kicked her away before running off into a nearby building. Ryuko followed her inside as Akame cut all the pillars inside and jumped out. Before Ryuko could fly after her, the entire building fell on top of her.

Ryuko: Senjin Shippo mode!

She burst out with a combination of the first two forms.

Ryuko: Alright I'm really getting tired of buildings falling on me!

She looked and saw Akame flying up a building and she flew up after her, swinging her sword and cutting the building into pieces. Akame was jumping on the falling pieces, clashing with Ryuko every time she flew at her. She ran atop a long piece of rubble and jumped on top a nearby building only for Ryuko to fly over her and swing her blades again. Akame blocked it and was sent flying into another building as Ryuko flew down inside with her. You can hear several explosions going off inside before the roof of the building blew up and Akame was flying out. Ryuko was flying with her as she was about to swing her blade, but Akame kicked her in the face before she could, sending her crashing down and destroying the entire building along with it. Akame landed on her feet and fell to one knee. Her senses were starting to get dull.

Ryuko: What's wrong? Are you slowing down on me?

Akame: What?

She turned around to see a bunch of life fibers gathering around Ryuko.

Ryuko: Senketsu...

Ryuko: Kisaragi!

Ryuko suddenly went Super Saiyan, gaining an enormous boost of power. Akame saw this and immediately realized the drug wasn't enough.

Akame: It looks like... I have no choice.

She closed her eyes and when she opened them, they were back as she unleashed an aura of darkness. The two of them ran at each other and swung their blades, closing and causing mayhem across the entire city before running around as nothing more than black and yellow blurs. Ryuko kicked Akame into a building, badly damaging it as Akame coughed up blood. She flew up after her and the two of them took their battle around the building before clashing on top of it. They both jumped back and Akame swung her sword, but Ryuko blocked her strike and punched her in the gut then kicked her off the building, and back down into the streets. Akame went to try and stand up as Ryuko flew towards her.

Ryuko: Oh no you don't! Finishing Move! SEN-I-SOSH-ITSU!

She swung her sword and sent Akame flying through the air, cutting all her clothes to shreds. Se fell to the ground headfirst as Ryuko reverted to base form.

Senketsu: Don't let your guard down yet Ryuko.

Ryuko: What?!

She turned to see Akame was standing back up and running at her. 

Ryuko: Scissor Blades Alumni Mode!

The blades turned ginormous to Akame's surprise.

Akame: Her blades can change form too?!

Ryuko: Saianara dipshit!

The scissors started to close in on Akame.

Akame: (Dammit, I won't make it!)

She tossed her blade and kicked it towards Ryuko's face, but Ryuko dodged it seconds before it could touch her as the scissors closed and crushed Akame into pieces. The blades then went back to normal a Ryuko fell to her knees.

Ryuko: Damn... finally... over...

She fell to the ground unconscious.

Junko: And she didn't stop fighting until the very end! A true assassin indeed!

Ann: Akame had plenty of advantages over Ryuko. While they were similar in experience when it came to fighting, Akame had much better training and less of a temper. She was more of a strategist and had all the means of countering Ryuko's more reckless fighting style... if not for the help of Senketsu.

Junko: But let's get the important question out of the way first. Can Akame's blade infect Ryuko with the curse and kill her? The answer is yes... and no. You see, while the blade has bypassed similar healing factors before, it could no doubt bypass Ryuko's... if not for Senketsu's own protection. 

Kokonoe Right. Even if the blade did work on Ryuko, Akame wasn't strong enough to bypass the hardened protection Senketsu grants her, with or without Akame's strategy against armored foes.

Junko: Definitely didn't help that Ryuko's faster and stronger. Akame's power-ups might close the speed gap slightly, but they come at a far greater risk than Ryuko's own.

Ann: Akame may have been smarter and more skilled, but Ryuko was just better at everything else.

Junko: Sorry, but this time Ryuko did la killing and Akame ga killed.
