Junko: Not much is known about Accelerator... hell, the guy doesn't even know about himself. But what we do know is that this guy is the strongest Esper and has been challenged time and time again.

Dizzy: Well, very few proved to be a challenge for him. Especially thanks to his ability to control vectors.

Dizzy: The name of this technique is Accelerator. It basically allows him to control the magnitude and direction of something. In physics, the three basic vectors are position, velocity, and force. Position is the location and orientation of something, while velocity is its speed and trajectory. Forces are the strength and direction of its acceleration, and as most objects and their interactions can be described using vectors, this ability can be used as an "absolute defense" that deflects or teleports all harmful vectors.

Junko: No wonder his main way of using it is Redirection.

Junko: This basically gives him a shield that reflects anything that can potentially harm him. Magic, guns, swords, and even sound! As long as he has a decent calculation of it, he can reflect its vectors without batting an eye!

Dizzy: He can use Accelerator to increase his speed, making him faster than the eye can track. He can also create earthquakes with his foot and even slow down the rotation of the earth.

Akame: He can also control any element he can get his hands on. His favorites of course being earth and wind.

Junko: By using the wind he can fly and even send it straight at his opponent as a projectile! If he wanted, he could create plasma by compressing the air at high speeds!

Dizzy: It may end up worst if he gets his hands on you though. As he can literally use his power to reverse his opponents blood flow, scramble their insides, increase the bodies electrical charge, or even just blow them up. In other words, if he touches you, you're dead.

Akame: It's bad enough he can use his vectors to read people's mind. And he has magic, though using magic will harm him since Science and Magic don't go together.

Junko: Yeah. Plus after an incident with a bullet that went straight through his head, Accelerator is kinda handicapped to the point that he could barely walk or talk, much less use his powers. Luckily he has some stuff that can help him out. Like his Choker-style electrode.

Junko: This lovely little necklace has three modes. Off mode, Normal Mode, and Esper Mode.

Dizzy: When turned off, Accelerator can barely speak. He can't even make proper calculations, which is a problem we will get to later.

Akame: When in normal mode, it allows Accelerator to walk around and talk. He can also think properly to make quick calculations.

Junko: And Esper Mode let's him go full power, even if it's only for 30 minutes!

Dizzy: The electrode isn't the only thing helping him, as he also has his crutch.

Dizzy: This thing isn't just used to support his weight whenever his electrode is in Normal Mode. It's more important feature is a component inserted by Accelerator that blocks other interference devices. The crutch allows for Accelerator to block specific wavelengths after successfully analyzing it and, using the equipment in the crutch, generate an interfering wavelength specifically engineered to block the original wavelength.

Akame: If that's not enough for you... he has a gun. With his powers, he can fire the gun and make the bullet go faster than how it normally should. He can do similar things to giant crater and whatever else he can get his hands on.

Junko: And to top that, the guy has wings!

Dizzy: Well, it's more like he Awakened to his full Esper powers. He actually has two versions of this though.

Junko: When Accelerator is feeling negative emotions like anger, his wings are black as he goes Berserk! And when he feels positive emotion, he gets white wings and a halo! Either way, he's incredibly powerful!

Akame: His wings are strong enough to split skyscrapers and shake the very earth around him. He even launched someone so hard they turned into plasma.

Junko: It's also believed that in this form, Accelerator can change his Personal Reality to control the vectors of something beyond regular physics, such as AIM Diffusion Fields. Hell, someone even stated that these wings "leave the category of logic altogether"!

Dizzy: Despite this though, Accelerator does have his weaknesses.

Junko: Yeah. His wings don't last for long and he doesn't have complete control over them.

Dizzy: Plus his powers work on calculations. If he makes just one small miscalculation, his power will be nullified. Same implies to if he comes across someone who can negate his powers or has something he is unable to calculate.

Akame: Another thing is the Esper Mode on his electrode. It only lasts for 30 minutes and after that, it will run out of power and need to recharge.

Junko: Not that any of it matters. With Accelerators abilities, he may as well be unstoppable.

Accelerator: I have no interest in being a villain, and I don’t think that I can become a good person. I’m at a halfway point where I’m not even sure which path I should walk down… but I guess even there, I can still interfere in someone’s life and help bring things to a positive conclusion…
