Kokonoe: The Shonen Trinity... we already have a Death God, but which of these two below him can be considered the true king?

Junko: Naruto Uzumaki, the 7th Hokage of the Hidden Leaf!

Ann: And Monkey D. Luffy, the future Pirate King!

Kokonoe: The stage is set and the combatants are ready!

Junko: It's time for a Death Battle!

In the Hidden Leaf Village, Naruto was in his office doing a lot of work. Shikamaru suddenly opened the door and walked towards him.

Shikamaru: We gotta bit of a problem.

Naruto: Hm? What is it?

He put a wanted poster on the desk.

Shikamaru: His name's Monkey D. Luffy... and he seems to be getting pretty famous.

Naruto went to take look.

Naruto: 1,500,000,000?! That's a lot of cash!

Shikamaru: Only goes to show how dangerous he is. Rumor has it... he and his crew are heading to the leaf... what a drag...

Naruto: I see...

The Hokage stood up from his seat.

Naruto: We've got too many busybodies. I'll go search and see if I can find this guy. If I do, I'll tell him to leave.

Shikamaru: Just don't do anything stupid...

Naruto: Hehe.

Naruto headed out to leave the Hidden Leaf for a bit.

Meanwhile, a ship set sail at a dock near the Hidden Leaf.

Luffy: Whoo-hoo! We made it!

Brook: Yo ho ho ho ho!

Nami: Luffy, you might nee someone with you before you go-

Zoro: He already left the ship.

Nami: WHY WOULD YOU LET HIM GO?!

In the middle of the forest, Naruto walked around as he started to get hungry. He saw a small shop called the Hanamora Diner that was still open.

Naruto: Hehe, a little bite won't hurt.

Naruto walked into the Diner and Luffy did the same. They both ordered some meat and noodles. Once they tried their noodles, their eyes widened.

Naruto/Luffy: Hey Chef!

Teruteru: Hm?

The chef, Teruteru, turned around.

Naruto: These noodles are so TASTY I could die!

Luffy: These noodles are so NASTY I could die!

They both glared at each other. They went to eat the meat.

Luffy: Ah!

Naruto: Bleh!

Luffy: This meat is especially DELICIOUS!

Naruto: This meat is especially DISGUSTING!

They both looked at each other again.

Naruto: Hey kid, I think there's something wrong with your taste buds.

Luffy: I think there's something wrong with your face old man. Hey, Chef! I want 50 pieces of meat to go!

Naruto: Oh yeah?! I want 51 Ramen Bowls to go!

Luffy: Actually, I meant 52 pieces!

Naruto: Wait! I wanted 53 Bowls!

Luffy: No! 54 cuts of meat!

Naruto: 55 bowls!

Luffy: 60 cuts of meat!

Naruto: 70 bowls!

Luffy: 80!

Naruto: 100!

They both stood up from their seats, rolling up their sleeves.

Naruto/Luffy: WHAT, YOU WANNA FIGHT?!

Teruteru: W-What are you guys even fighting over?! If you're gonna do that, please do it somewhere else!

The two of them looked at each other and walked out. They headed far from the Diner, in the middle of the forest to settle things.

Naruto put his Shinobi Headband on and tightened it.

Naruto: Now that I think about it, you're that guy from the wanted poster. Looks like I got an excuse to beat your ass.

Luffy put his Straw Hat on with a smile.

Luffy: Bring it on!

Naruto threw two kunai and Luffy dodged them as Naruto threw one that had a paper bomb attached. Luffy kicked it in the air and it blew up above them as Naruto dashed at him. Luffy stretched his arm back.

Luffy: Gomu Gomu no...

Naruto stopped and quickly jumped back.

Luffy: Pistol!

Luffy threw a devastating punch. Naruto tried to block it as he was sent flying backward.

Naruto: "Did this guys arm stretch?!"

As he flew back, he threw a Fuma Shuriken. Luffy quickly jumped over it.

Luffy: Gomu Gomu no Pistol Shot!

Luffy stretched his arm back again and Naruto started making handsigns. He slid on the floor and made an Earth wall as Luffy punched holes in it instead.

Naruto: Shadow Clone Jutsu!

A bunch of Naruto clones jumped over the wall and dashed at him.

Luffy: Gomu Gomu no Hawk Whip!

Luffy stretched out his legs and kicked several of them away, not seeing the one behind him.

Naruto: 1000 years of death!

He stuck his finger up Luffy's butt and Luffy was sent flying up.

Luffy: GYAAAAH!!!

The Naruto clones then jumped up and started kicking him in the back, sending him higher into the air.

Naruto(Clones): NA-RU-TO!

A thousand clones started coming from the sky getting ready to punch him.

Naruto(Clones): UZUMAKI BARRAGE!

Luffy: Gomu Gomu no Ame!

Luffy started punching high into the air, hitting all the clones before they could punch him. Two clones then managed to grab him and slam him into the ground as one clone tried to fly down and stab him with a Kunai. Luffy kicked him away before kicking the other two off him and jumping up. He saw the real Naruto holding up a small ball of chakra.

Naruto: Rasengan Flash!

Naruto unleashed the chakra as a huge beam of light and Luffy quickly grabbed a tree to sling himself out the way and dodge the blast.

He jumped off the tree and into the air.

Luffy: Hawk Gatling!

He started going for several Haki-infused punches down onto Naruto. The ground started to shake as Naruto used Nine-Tails Chakra on his arms to block the strikes. He then summoned the head of the Kurama avatar to make a full shield. Luffy landed on his feet and they dashed at each other. Smoke came from Luffy's body as he went into Gear Second and stretched both his arms back.

Luffy: Eagle Bazooka!

He swung both arms forward and struck at Naruto, who blocked his strike. He looked up to see Luffy was right above him.

Luffy: Jet Pistol!

He punched Naruto to the ground so hard it made a giant crater under them. He landed on his feet as Naruto was starting to get up.

Naruto: "Damn... it's like he can read my every move."

Kurama: "Naruto."

Naruto suddenly felt Kurama's presence behind him.

Kurama: "We shouldn't underestimate this brat."

Naruto stood up to his feet.

Naruto: Yeah... I know... let's do this... Kurama!

He suddenly unleashed a huge burst of power and his body glowed yellow. He had gone into his Kurama Sage Mode. Luffy saw this and reacted quickly.

Luffy: Hawk Whip!

He stretched his led and went for a quick and heavy kick, but Naruto blocked it and grabbed his leg, swinging him away. Luffy went flying through multiple trees. He started to stand up as multiple Shadow Clones were above him with giant balls of Chakra.

Shadow Clones: Big Ball Rasengan Barraige!

Luffy unleashed his Conquers Haki, sending a huge wave of energy that sent the Shadow Clones flying away and causing them to disappear. The Haki went straight towards Naruto, who unleashed his own aura of power that clashed with Luffy's, causing a shockwave around them that pushed everything back from trees to boulders. They then dashed at each other as Naruto formed a blue ball of Chakra in his hand and Luffy stretched his arm back.

Naruto: I'll beat you no matter what! Believe it!

Luffy: Bring it on! Gomu Gomu no...

Naruto: Rasengan!

Luffy: Bullet!

The two of them clashed without their attacks even touching. The clash created a giant shockwave that could be felt throughout the Hidden Leaf.

In the village, the ground started shaking as everyone left their homes.

Sakura looked up in the sky.

Sakura: This chakra... Naruto...

Even the sea was shaking as the Straw Hat's ship was rocking.

Sanji: What the hell is going on?!

Nami: Luffy!

The two powerhouses finally jumped back from their clash as Naruto sent several Chakra arms to grab him. Luffy dodged them and jumped high in the air as his arm became huge.

Luffy: Gomu Gomu no...

Naruto summoned the Kurama Avatar and fired a giant Bijuu Bomb.

Luffy: Thor Elephant Gun!

Luffy sent his giant, electricity-infused and Haki-infused fist down at the Bijuu Bomb and clashed with it, causing a giant explosion that lit the sky. Luffy turned his other hand giant as well as both Kurama and Luffy went for their own huge punches and clashed, creating another huge shockwave around them. They went for another clash again and again.

Luffy: Gomu Gomu no...

They kept clashing as Luffy started speeding up his fists.

Luffy: Elephant Gatling!

They both started to speed up and clash at a quicker pace. Luffy finally got a hit in on the Avatar before stretching both his arms back.

Luffy: Grizzly Magnum!

He launched both giant fists straight through Kurama's head, sending Naruto flying away. Naruto's power boosted even further as he went into his Asura mode, caught himself midair, and summoned a four-bladed Rasengan.

Naruto: Rasenshuriken!

He threw it and Luffy quickly grabbed the floor under him and pulled himself down to dodge it, bringing himself to the ground. The Rasenshuriken blew up in the sky as Naruto landed on the ground as well. He fired three Truth Seeking Orbs. Luffy saw the future and what they would do to him as he quickly used Advanced Armament Haki to punch them, destroying them from the inside out without touching them. He then dashed at Naruto, who turned one of his orbs into a staff and swung it. Luffy quickly ducked to dodge it before hitting Naruto with an uppercut and sending him flying into the air. Luffy then turned into a ballon, twisted his body up tightly, then blew air out while untwisting and flying up at Naruto.

Luffy: Gomu Gomu no Storm!

Luffy unleashed a giant barrage of punches up at Naruto. He turned around and caught one of Luffy's fists, pulling him in closer before punching him into the ground hard.

Naruto: Lava Release, Rasenshurikan!

Naruto threw another Rasenshuriken at Luffy, who quickly kicked himself away to dodge it. The Rasenshuriken hit the ground and created a huge explosion that sent Luffy flying back and rolling through the ground. He struggled to get up as Naruto floated down to face him.

Naruto: You ready to give up?

Luffy: Give up... trying to make me give up!

Luffy bit into his forearm as smoke surrounded him. His proportions became warped and his body was much larger in size, with his arms, upper torso, and legs all coated in Haki

Luffy: Gear Fouth... Boundman!

Naruto looked at him very confused.

Naruto: What the world is tha-

Before he could finish his sentence, Luffy dashed at him and hit him with a compressed fist that Naruto quickly used his arms to block. Luffy then shot his compressed fist and sent Naruto flying back. Naruto's feet dragged on the ground as he made multiple Shadow clones behind him. Luffy flew into the air as the Shadow Clones flew after him.

Luffy: Gonu Gomu no Kong Organ!

He fired off several compressed shots at once. They all hit straight to the ground and fired shots at the Shadow Clones, getting rid of them quickly. One of them grabbed Naruto and threw him at Luffy as he had four Rasengan in his hand.

Naruto: Planetary Rasengan!

Luffy: Gomu Gomu no Kong Gun!

Luffy unleashed a heavily compressed punch and they clashed. A bright light shined between them as they knocked each other back hard. Luffy flew back at him.

Luffy: Gomu Gomu no...

He got in his face and compressed his legs.

Luffy: Rhino Schnieder!

He hit Naruto with an incredibly powerful dropkick that sent Naruto flying even further. Naruto quickly managed to catch himself as he summoned the Asura Avatar and went for a gigantic punch that sent Luffy flying over the clouds. The giant avatar flew up after him and Luffy caught himself. He blew on his arm and turned it gigantic as the Asura Avatar held a Tailed Beast Ball Rasenshuriken in its two left arms and a Big Ball Rasenshuriken in its two right arms.

Luffy: Gomu Gomu no... King Kong Gun!

Naruto: Six Paths... Ultra-Big Ball Rasenshuriken!

Luffy unleashed his giant compressed fist as Naruto threw the two Rasenshuriken. The clash caused a huge explosion that pushed the clouds back. Once the dust settles, Naruto saw Luffy back in base form and falling. The Asura Avatar went to try and grab him, but as soon as it tried, Luffy woke up and stretched his arm, wrapping it around the Avatar's finger and swinging on it. He swung himself up onto the Avatar's arm and ran up it. Naruto tried to use one of his other arms to grab him, but Luffy jumped over him and onto one of the Avatar's heads. He then jumped higher into the air and stretched his foot upward, making it grow massive above them.

Luffy: Gomu Gomu no... Gigant Axe!!!

he smashed his foot straight through the avatar and sent Naruto falling down. Luffy started to fall with him as they crashed into the ground at the same time. Luffy started to get up first. He saw Naruto laying on the ground. He walked up to Naruto and lifted his foot high into the sky.

Luffy: Gomu Gomu no... Ono!

Luffy went for an extremely powerful stomp that caused a huge crater under him. He smiled until Naruto went poof and Luffy realized it was a Shadow Clone.

Naruto: Serial Rasengan!

Luffy turned around to see Naruto jumping at him with two Rasengan in hand. He swung one hand and Luffy got back to dodge it. The two of them then looked at each other. There was nothing around them bru dust and rubble. They were beaten and battered and breathing heavily as even their shirts have been ripped to shreds. They went at each other again. Naruto went to strike him with a Rasengan and Luffy dodged it. He punched Naruto in the gut and Naruto staggered back. Luffy then went for another punch, but Naruto dodged it and sent a Rasengan to Luffy's chest, knocking him back hard. Naruto then jumped up and smashed the Rasengan in his other hand into Luffy's face, smashing him to the ground. Luffy quickly kicked him off and knocked him back as they both got up and dashed at each other. Luffy stretched his arm back and it caught on fire.

Luffy: Red Hawk!

Luffy punched Naruto, unleashing a huge burst of flames straight through Naruto's body. Naruto coughed up a lot of blood before being sent flying far away. Luffy dropped to one knee exhausted.

Naruto was lying on the ground far away with a giant hole in his stomach.

Kurama: "... Naruto..."

Naruto: Yeah... looks like we don't have a choice...

Luffy was starting to get up, though he was staggering. He looked up and saw Naruto flying down towards him. Luffy quickly jumped back as Naruto's landing caused a giant explosion. Luffy was knocked back as he looked to see Naruto was in his Bijuu mode.

Naruto: It's over Straw Hat... time to give up...

Luffy: ... Give up... trying to make me give up!!!

Luffy bit his forearm again. Smoke appeared as he went Gear Fourth, except this time he was skinnier.

Luffy: Gear Fourth! Snakeman!

Naruto: Snakeman? Another form... but meaningless at this point.

Luffy: We'll just see about that!

Luffy compressed his arm and shot his fist at Naruto, who dodged it with ease.

Naruto: That simple punch won't-

Kurama: "Watch out Naruto!"

Naruto looked to the side to see that same arm went to strike him from the left. Naruto quickly went to block it last minute as he was sent flying back. He caught himself by dragging his feet to the ground.

Naruto: Physical attacks will only drain your lifespan! You aren't beating me!

Naruto's tails stretched out and went to strike at him and Luffy's own arms clashed with them at high speeds.

Luffy: Then I'll beat you to the inch of my life! Gomu Gomu no Black Mamba!

He fired his fist everywhere and Naruto started to dodge them. One of his fists managed to punch him back and Naruto was sent flying away. Naruto managed to drag himself on his feet as Luffy flew straight at him.

Luffy: This fight is far from over! Jet Culverin!

He sent a high-speed arm straight at him and Naruto quickly jumped to the side to dodge it. He dashed at Luffy who brought his arm back his arm and got ready for another strike but Naruto was already in front of him. He started punching him in the face, then kicking him in the chest, bringing him up a bit before kicking Luffy far back. Luffy quickly caught himself as Naruto dashed at him.

Naruto: I'll end this right here and now! Rasengan!

Luffy: Yeah right! You can't touch me! Gomu Gomu no King Cobra!!!

They both unleashed extremely powerful attacks and clashed, creating a gigantic explosion.

Naruto: Straw Hat!!!

Luffy: RAAAAAGH!!!!

The explosion engulfed the two of them as Naruto's headband and Luffy's hat came flying off. A bright light filled the screen as a heavy wind blew into the air. And once the dust settled, Naruto was standing back in his base form. He looked up to see his headband land in front of him. Naruto picked it up and smiled.

Naruto: You were pretty tough... you know...

Naruto fell to the ground exhausted. As he did, Luffy's hat landed on his chest.

Junko: That! That was beautiful!

Kokonoe: These two aren't in the Shonen Trinity for nothing. After being in the game for so long, each of them actually had some pretty good counters for each other's techniques.

Ann: As far as it stands, Luffy had a huge advantage when it comes to the physical stuff. He was faster, stronger, more durable, and had far more endurance than Naruto. But even then, Naruto was the better hand-to-hand fighter of the two.

Junko: Yeah, Luffy may have trained for a longer period of time, but his fighting style is pretty reckless compared to Naruto's. Not saying it's bad... just not as good as Naruto's. Also, Naruto has plenty of experience with characters capable of predicting his every move, so Observation Haki wasn't gonna do much.

Kokonoe: But it did help him counter the Truth-Seeking Orbs. He'd be able to instantly realize they'd kill him if he touched them. And luckily, his Advanced Armament Haki could potentially destroy them from the inside out without making physical contact.

Ann: Luffy is also used to taking on opponents much bigger than himself, so taking on giants like Kurama or the Asura Avatar was nothing new to him. But besides that, Naruto had more ways of taking out Luffy.

Junko: Wait, can't Naruto's hits like not affect him or something? You know, because of his immunity to blunt force whatever.

Kokonoe: Well yes and no. You see, it takes something to nullify his rubber body to actually damage Luffy. Take Garp's haki or Rob Lucci's Rokushiki for example.

Ann: Now While Naruto doesn't have abilities like these... well... let's just go ahead and introduce Blackbeard, whose own Devil Fruit can literally suck in everything and even nullify one's Devil Fruit abilities... much like Naruto's artificial arm.

Junko: But even if Naruto can hit him, that's nothing new to Luffy at this point.

Kokonoe: Still, Naruto still had enough power to eventually overwhelm Luffy. Luffy is still not immune to spikes, knives, swords, etcetera. And Naruto had plenty of options to deal that type of damage. Hell, even his Rasenshuriken's can rip him to shreds.

Ann: But let's say Luffy did tank all of Naruto's moves and force him to Bijuu Mode.

Kokonoe: Bijuu Mode gives Naruto a huge boost in every category. In a situation like that, Luffy could just tank all of Naruto's attacks until the jutsu wore off, in which case all it would cost is at least 2 or 3 years of his lifespan. But the chances of him surviving it are very slim.

Ann: In the end, Luffy had the physical abilities, but Naruto's sheer power gave him the win in this one.

Kokonoe: The winner is Naruto Uzumaki.
