NEXT DAY

Haldi preparations was going on, elders were busy in decorations, while squad was busy in their own world.

Preeran room

Preeta was getting ready infront of mirror, she was wearing earrings, meanwhile Karan saw her and backhug her.

Karan : (huskily in ears) ohh, Meri babydoll Indian dresses bhi pehenti hai.

Preeta : (turns and wrap hands around his neck) haan ji bilkul, aapko aaj pata Chala Kya ?

Karan : bilkul aaj hi pata chala.

Saying this he leaned towards her, but preeta pushed him.

Preeta : karan.. ready hone do, tum ho Gaye ho to jaao na.

Karan : as you wish.

Saying this he went out the room immediately, while Preeta became shocked for once.

Preeta : (to herself) oh God, yeh itni asaani se kaise Chala gaya.. zaroor kuch na kuch plan Kar rakha hai.. bajarbattu..

She also become ready and went downstairs. Everyone was standing in front of both partners. Suddenly vikrant's mother's eye went on Aditi, she saw her standing with a sweet smile on face and so simple-sober. She went to Aditi.

Smriti (vikrant's mother) : Aditi.

Aditi turn and see her.

Aditi : ji.

Smriti : (cupping her face) itni badi ho gai aur kitni pyaari bhi hai. Nazar na lage kisiki.

Aditi : (confused) thank you aunty but Maine aapko pehchaana nahi.

Smriti : are nahi pehchaana, Mai vikrant ki maa.

Aditi : oh accha.

Aditi touched her feets, and she blessed her.

Smriti : waise beta, london se kab aayi.

Aditi : abhi parso hi.

They both do short chit-chat for sometime, smriti was so impressed by Aditi that she now wanted Aditi as her daughter-in-law. But she didn't show it.

All their incident was witnessed by vikrant, he understood the image of Aditi in smriti's eyes. His mother is drool over every girl for her daughter-in-law. But she is in love with Aditi this vikrant understood.

Vikrant knew now her mother will do anything for Aditi. He huffed and left from there.

After sometime, jaldi finally started.. everyone began to put haldi on Bela and mahir.

After sometime Karan went to mahir.

Karan : (while applying) haldi Mubarak Bhai, dono hamesha khush raho, saath raho, romance karte raho, aur hamaare bhanja-bhaanjiyo ko jaldi se le aao.

Mahir : pehle to tu laayega Bhai.

They both laughed, and Karan went.

Now, Preeta went to Bela for applying her haldi.

Preeta : (while applying) haldi Mubarak ho, dono khush rehna aur mere jiju ko zyaada pareshaan nahi karna.

Bela : yeh to Mera Hak hai.

They both laughed.

Now, vikrant went to apply haldi to mahir.

Vikrant : (while applying) haldi mubarak, magar abhi bhi keh Raha hu, piche hat jaa is kaid se, pachtaayega aage jaakar.

Maahir : (laughs) nahi bilkul nahi, magar yaad rakhna, ek din isi kaid me aane ke liye tu bhi utavla hua jaayega. (Winks)

Vikrant shrugged his shoulder and went from there.

Now, Aditi went to Bela to apply her haldi.

Aditi : (while applying) haldi mubarak, hamesha khush rehna.

Bela : ha wo to thik hai, magar hame kab saali banne ka chance de rahi ho. (Winks)

Aditi laughed and went from there.

Like this Everyone apply haldi to, to-be-bride and groom.

It was dancing time and most of the couple we're dancing. So Behir and preeran does. But Aditi and vikrant stood in opposite corner.

Vikrant saw aditi,he thought to ask her for dance but,....

Vikrant : (in mind) nahi vikrant yeh galti to bilkul hi nahi karna, warna maa aur hi piche pad jaayegi, Aditi vahi par hi acchi lagti hai.

Dance got over, now some rent dancers were doing dance.

Suddenly someone pushed Preeta at back part of hall below the stairs, no one cane see them.

Preeta : (widened her eyes) Karan yeh Kya...

Karan keep his fingers in her lips.
Preeta was about to say something, but stop seeing a bowl Karan showing to her.

Karan : didn't expected babydoll.

Suddenly Preeta smiles remember, it is the same day when they performed their's haldi previous year.

Karan took some haldi in his hand and rubbed in her face sensually, while Preeta closed her eyes.

Karan rubbed both of theirs cheek with each other and whispered in her ears.

Karan : (whispering) happy first haldi anniversary babydoll.

Preeta smiled at his gestures.

Karan applied some haldi on her neck and waist, making her clutching his shirt.

He gave a slight peck on her neck and then on her lips.

Karan then pick Preeta in his arms and took her to their room, where they both celebrated their day in their way.

ON THE OTHER SIDE

Aditi was going in corridor, suddenly vikrant sneak from somewhere in front of her and block her either way.

She widened her eyes and tried to push him, but it was useless, he was angrily glaring her.

Aditi : (frustrated) vikrant Kya hai, hato na saamne se.

Vikrant : (moving more closer to her) gussa mujhe bhi aa Raha hai, Aditi Sharma, Mera hisaab barabar karna hai tumse.

Their closeness skipped aditi's heart. She was feeling so nervous feeling him. They both remained silence for a minute.

They were looking into their's eyes so deeply, aditi finally broke the silence or else she know she will loose her control.

Aditi : (slowly) kaisa hisaab.

Vikrant become aware of their proximity and he immediately move away, while Aditi felt so comfortable, seeing her reaction vikrant eventually smiles.

Aditi : (seeing him) ab has Kyu rahe ho.

Vikrant fade his smile.

Vikrant : point par aaunga, Meri mom ko butter Kyu laga rahi thi.
Meri buraai karne ke liye na.

Aditi : (confused) what, o hello ! Mai kyun tumhaari mom ko buttteeer lagane lagi, bataoge mujhe.

Vikrant : Meri buraai karne ke liye aur Kya ?

Aditi : O Mr. Main koi choti bacchi nahi hu, Jo burai karungi tumhaari ok! Mere paas itna time nahi hai.

Vikrant : accha to Meri mom ko woo karne ke liye butter laga rahi thi na ?

Aditi : vikraant, tum na pagal ho Gaye ho. Mere pass Kya mere parents nahi hai, Jo main unhe woo karungi.

Vikrant : ha Kyu nahi karuogi, aur waise bhi tumhaare kause apne parents hai tumhaare paas, to koi.....

Aditi felt a pinched in her heart, while vikrant stopped realizing what he said, he was about to say then

Aditi : sorry

Saying this Aditi went from there, but vikrant held her hand and stop.

Vikrant : Aditi I am really sorry, mere bolne ka Matlab wo nahi tha, galti se muh see nikal Gaya, I am really....

Aditi : Maine kuch kaha tumhe, I said it's ok.

Aditi freed her hand and went from there, while vikrant felt extremely guilty for his words.

Vikrant : (in mind) oh God Maine yeh Kya bol Diya, wo waise hi pehle se hi itni hurt thi aur Maine..

Vikrant hit his head on a nearby wall.

ON THE OTHER SIDE

At the place of haldi, everyone was busy in congratulating themselves and were applying haldi to each other, mahir find it a golden chance.

He get up and went to Bella's place quietly, she was busy seeing others. Suddenly she felt two hands around her cheeks. She turned

Mahir : (slowly) happy haldi my love.

Bela also apply some haldi on his cheeks

Bela : happy haldi to you too, pata hai, tumhe lagaye Bina to Meri haldi hoti hi nahi.

Mahir : (whispers) isiliye to aaya yaha.

Bela smiles.

Mahir immediately went to his place, before being noticed by anyone.

Bela, there was feeling so proud and happy to have mahir in his life, who understands her more than herself.

On that day, she understood the saying of Preeta and Karan - bohot Kam insaan hotel hai hamari Zindagi me Jo hame samajhte hai.

She was feeling so blessed and her life completed.
