Edward POV

I asked the clerk and he got a bunch of green flowers in a nice bouquet for me. Winry smiled.
"They're so beautiful", she stated.

I smiled. " Yeah, just like him", I said to myself. Winry giggled and I blushed, embarrassed by what I just said.
I turned away and handed her the bouquet.

"Hang on to this for a second while I pay for them", I said. She nodded.
" Will do", she said. I looked up at the sun.
Things were gonna be great.

Envy POV

I kept chasing Ling as fast as I could. I almost had him so many times.
"Gee Envy, you're pretty determined to get me. Does that mean its true?", he asked.

I glared at him. " Shut up!! I'll kill you", I snapped. Soon we came across the outdoor market. He then his himself in the large crowd.

"Dammit!! Where did he go?!", I growled. I look around and saw him sticking his tongue at me. I started running over to him.

Then out of the corner of my eye I saw a flash of blonde. I stopped in my tracks. It was Edward and Winry.
Edward was holding a bouquet of green flowers.

I smiled seeing the flowers. They were very pretty. The two of them talk a minute and then Edward blushes.

Then he turns away and hands Winry the bouquet. My heart shattered. The love if my life, is in love with someone else.

Ling runs over to me.
" Hey aren't you still chasing me? This was getting kinda-", he freezes when he sees Edward and Winry.

"Oohh, that's why you stopped", he says like an idiot. I turn and run away, not wanting to see anymore of this. Ling kept calling out to me but I ignored him.

Edward POV

I pay for the flowers and get back the bouquet from Winry.
" Thanks for holding them" , I said.

Suddenly I hear Ling's voice. We look over to see him calling out to someone. We run up to him.
"Ling, what's going on?", I asked. Ling gulps.

"Umm, we have a situation. Envy saw you give the flowers to Winry", he stated.

" WHAT?!", we say in unison.
"Yeah, now he probably thinks you love her", Ling added. I fell to my knees.

" No. This isn't what I wanted", I said weakly. Everyone stared at us. Ling grabbed the stuff and Winry helped me up. We went to a nearby alleyway where no one would see us.

"Ed, you ok?", Winry asked. I shook my head as tears filled my eyes.
" No, not at all", I replied.

Envy POV

I ran and ran back to the underground hideout. When I got there Greed was there with a smirk.
"Did you have a nice outing?", he asked.

I didn't reply. Instead I looked away. Edward, he's in love with Winry. Tears filled my eyes as I stared at the ground.
Greed must've noticed and looked at me concerned.

" Woah Envy, you ok bro?", he asked. I bolted past him and into the cell I called my room. I crawled onto the bed.

What was this awful feeling? Was it....heartbreak? I hated it. I absolutely hated it. I heard a knock and jolted upright.
Greed gave a soft smile.

"Hey Envy, what happened out there?", he asked. I looked away, not wanting him to see me so pathetic. He sat next to me.

" Come on man. You can trust me", he assured. I looked at him with teary eyes. Then I shook my head. "No, I don't wanna talk about it", I replied weakly.

" Envy...", he said placing a hand on my shoulder. I smacked it off and glared at him.
"JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!!", I yelled.

Greed sighed but left. As soon as he did I regretted it. Now I had no one to talk to. I just laid on the bed and buried my face in my pillow.

" Damn you pipsqueak ", I said weakly.
