Edward POV

We headed back to the hotel room. Alphonse saw my depressed state and placed a hand on my shoulder.
"Brother, what happened?", he asked. I kept my silence.

Linh explained what happened and I sat down on the couch. I looked at all the gifts I got him. The flowers were still so beautiful.
Just like him. I did the worst thing I could ever do. I broke Envy's heart.

I wiped my eyes as they got teary. Then I heard a sob and looked over. Winry was crying, tears rushing out her eyes.

" Its all my fault. I ruined everything. I'm so sorry", she sobbed. I went up to her and held her shoulders.

"Winry look at me", I said. She looked right at my eyes.

" This isn't your fault. None of it", I stated. She sniffed.
"Really?", she asked. I nodded.

" Its no one's fault. It just happened to be a coincidence", I stated.
"Still doesn't change the situation though", Ling pointed out.

" Ling!! Don't make things worse", Alphonse snapped. Ling clasped his hands over his mouth. I looked back at the flowers.

"Sucks this had to happen", I muttered.

There was a knock on the door. Alphonse answered it and Greed waltzed right in.
" Ok so I just saw Envy come home in tears. What the hell happened? ", he asked almost angry.

" Long story short there was a misunderstanding ", Ling stated.
" How bad is it?", Winry asked.

"Envy looked like he was gonna break down but he won't talk to anyone", Greed replied.
I sighed.
" What do I do?", I asked.

Greed walked up to me.
"Go. I'll take you to Envy. When I do you confess and explain exactly what happened", he said.

" What?!", I stammered.
"You're doing it. No questions about it. Let's go", he ordered.

I looked at the bag of gifts. I grabbed them and the flowers, following Greed.

Envy POV

I didn't move from the bed. I was too upset. Along with the heartbreak I felt something else. Something towards the girl. Jealousy.

I was jealous of Winry. She had Edward and I didn't. This feeling hurt like a bitch. Suddenly I felt a presence and looked at Pride's shadows, watching me from the ceiling.

" Go away Pride", I snapped. Pride came into the room, Lust close behind him.
"Envy, what happened? Greed told us something went wrong", Lust asked concerned.

I glared at her.
" Its none of your business", I replied.

"Perhaps, but we are deeply concerned Envy. Please tell us what happened", Pride urged. I shook my head.

" No. I don't wanna", I stated. Lust sighed.
"Envy-"
"Shut up!!", I cut her off and she went silent.

I got up and glared at them.
" This has nothing to do with you so shut the hell up!!", I yelled. I stormed out of the cell and through the endless underground tunnels of Father's lair.

Edward POV

Greed took me to this hidden lair he was talking about. When we got there I looked around.
"How long have you guys lived down here?", I asked.

" Centuries", Greed replied. I didn't even know there was an lair under Central.
Soon we came across Lust and Pride, who both had grimly looks.

"Hey guys, where's Envy?", Greed asked.
" Not here I'm afraid", Pride replied.
"What?!", Greed and I said in unison.

" Yes, he got mad at us for bugging him and just stormed off", Lust explained. I started to panic.

I needed to see Envy. Now!!

"Please, can you tell me what direction he went in?", I begged.
Lust pointed down one of the tunnels.

" He went that way", she stated. With the stuff in hand I was gone in seconds.
