I followed quietly behind as he took me through the long corridors of the school. We arrived at the science room and Cody opened the door.
"Check it," he said.
He pointed to the board, and written on it was "Julia...I think we can make some chemistry happen...
Will you go to the dance with me? -Robert."
He snickered.
"Robert thinks he can get Julia... he's too ugly for her."
I cracked up.
"He thinks he can make puns a thing again." I laughed.
"Julia doesn't even like him!!" Cody was giggling like a little 6 year old.

We laughed for a while.
"Thanks, Cody. I really do feel better." I said
And I did. Though my headache didn't feel any better, I did. Cody was the best friend anybody could ask for.
And although we are so different, we're so similar.
I think the reason I like him so much is because he truly understands me. We both have the same problems: Marisa, homework, what video games we want to buy, etc.

As the bell for 5th rang, we headed our separate ways; me, gym, him, math.

As I entered the girl's locker room, I heard the familiar screams and gossips.
I opened my locker and took out my gym uniform. I eavesdropped on a passing conversation between Ava and Giuliana.
I couldn't hear too much, but they were saying something about Marisa getting in trouble for bullying a girl named Becky. Acutally, now that I think about it, Becky hasn't been at school for awhile. I know she isn't on vacation because I'm following her on Facebook and she always posts her vacations.

I wonder why...
