CRASH!

"Tattoo, I don't think you should be driving anymore..." Ozone meowed, collecting himself off of the floor. The pig groaned, "You might have a point..." A small chorus of agreements rose from the other animals in the taxi cab. That had been the scariest ride any of them had ever been on, with high speed turns and running red lights. They had a police car chase them for a little bit and now here they were parked right alongside the no parking sign they had crashed into.

"Guys, we're home!" Buddy howled, looking out the window. Once the other pets got a chance to see, they also cheered in victory. The mission was complete, the adventure was over. It was now time to be home. Thanking the Flushed Pets for their help, the pets clambered out of the taxi and watched as the strays drove off into the night. Shaking his head quietly, Pops muttered, "What a bunch of psychopaths."

"So wait, you guys have been searching for us all day long?" Duke asked, astonished. Puffing her chest out pridefully, Chloe purred, "Of course you big dumb dumb. I was the brains behind the operation." Mel, Buddy and Sweetpea all rolled their eyes when they heard that but they kept their mouths shut. "Today was awesome, let's do it again tomorrow," Norman squeaked quietly, yawning sleepily. Glancing over his shoulder at the tired guinea pig laying on his back, Tiberius murmured, "I think someone is ready for bed."

"Yeah, I know I am. Good night everyone, see ya around I guess," Ozone piped up, walking down the sidewalk. Wagging her tail, Gidget yipped, "Thank you Ozone! Come visit whenever you like!" The hairless cat waved his tail in response before vanishing into the darkness. Trotting up to Gidget, Max commented, "Well, we better get home before our owners do. You'll visit, right?"

"Of course Maxie, everyday," Gidget promised, reaching up and licking Max's cheek lovingly. Blushing, the terrier did the same to her, causing the Pomeranian to blush as well. The rest of the pets melted at the sight as they cried in unison, "Aww..." Rolling her eyes, Chloe grumbled, "Get a life guys." Glancing over at the gray tabby cat, Pops cleared his throat and batted his eyes at her. Disgusted, Chloe shoved him away. Fluffing up his feathers, Sweetpea chirped. Nodding his head, Mel announced, "We have about five minutes before our owners get home, let's go."

"Not so fast!" Snowball's voice thundered. Jumping out of their skins, the group whirled around to see the white bunny rabbit stumbling towards them. His fur was wild and dirty from his travels to get to the apartment building and yet he still had the same crazed look in his eyes, though they seemed crazier now. "Snowball, you gotta let go of the past man!" Max yelped, tucking his tail. His eye twitching, Snowball growled, "Never! There's nothing in this world that can sway me from my mission!"

"Mommy! Can I have a bunny?!" a little girl called out. Gasping, everyone looked at the sidewalk. Sure enough, there was a little girl in a tiara and a pink skirt riding a scooter. She only had eyes for Snowball. The pets slowly backed away and retreated for home, leaving the rabbit behind. "Uh oh..." Snowball whimpered, noticing the girl running up to him. Grabbing him, she cheered, "Yay bunny!"

"No! Let go of me you vile creature of darkness!" Snowball shouted. He kicked and squirmed, desperately trying to free himself from the little girl's grasp. It was no use though. Petting the rabbit on the head, the young child hugged him even more as she announced loud enough for the world to hear, "Bunny, I'm gonna love ya forever and ever and ever!" Hearing those words, Snowball went limp in her arms. Did she really mean that? He looked up at her. There was nothing but love in her eyes. And just like that, the crazy bunny rabbit melted with happiness and hope. Sighing softly, he snuggled up in the child's arms with a smile on his face.

"Wow, I guess even the most evil animal around deserves a second chance at everything," Max remarked, having witnessed the whole ordeal from the safety of the fire escape. Wagging his tail, Duke commented, "I hope you find happiness and love for the rest of your life Snowball."

"Yeah," Max mumbled, nodding his head. Nudging Duke's leg, the terrier stated, "Come on, let's go home."
