Sachi: A clever photographer and science major, Spider-Man is not only incredibly powerful, but also a genius in strategy and science. Using these skills, he created two wrist mounted webshooters which let him swing around the city.

Megumi: You know what would be scientifically accurate Sachi?

Sachi: What?

Megumi: If he were to ever shit out webs like a real spider can.

Toomi: First of all Megumi, Spiders don't defecate webs, and second of all, that's not even their butt.

Megumi: Yeah yeah, but like a real spider, Spiderman's webshooters contains some kind of web fluid which enables him to shoot out webs to help him swing across buildings or restrain enemies in place.

Toomi: His spider powers give him superhuman strength, speed, agility and durability. He can run up to 200 MPH, lift over 10 tons, and take a freaking grenade to the face

Sachi: Also, by altering his body's electron attractions, Spider-Man can crawl along any surface. But his most advantageous power is the Spider-Sense.

Megumi: Spider sense, wait, isn't that kind of like a warning system to get Mary Jane out of his room before Aunt May walk in onto him?

Toomi: It does more than that, the Spidey-Sense gives Peter omnipresent detection to his surroundings. This is how he swings around New York without looking where he shoots his webs. And unlike his human senses, it is not affected by gases or toxins unless specifically tailored to the Spider-Sense itself.

Toomi: But since this is What if Battles, we will only be restricting both characters to standard gear only so Spiderman won't be using any of Iron Man's tech to aid him in battle

Megumi: And he don't need it. Spiderman has amazing durability, being able to tank blows from beings as powerful as the Hulk and Juggernaut.

Toomi: He has even tagged Speed Demon, a speedster known for travelling at the speed of sound.

Sachi: He has even defeated the Sinister Six and Seven all by himself, impressed Lady Death by holding his own against Thanos and even defeated Puma, who is empowered with the force of the entire universe which the Beyonder says is capable of killing even himself

Megumi: And most of these feats are nowhere near as cool as the time he beats the living shit out of Kingpin without holding back and trust me, you definitely don't wanna piss Spiderman off.

Toomi: However, the Spidey sense is not 100 hundred percent effective, enemies like Mysterio has created illusions powerful enough to deter his Spider-Sense and sometimes, it doesn't work if Spiderman doesn't think he is in danger.

Sachi: Not to mention in his early years, none of the other heroes liked him due to his childish nature. 

Megumi: And he is not worthy. And Mjonir doesn't lie.

Toomi: In a small town, there was a young girl named Ruby Rose who wielded a mechanical scythe known as- the Crescent Rose.

Megumi: And right after foiling a robbery by Torchwick, she and her sister, Yang enrolled into Beacon Academy where they met Weiss Schnee and Blake Belladonna. 

Sachi: And like many school-theme anime, things didn't went well at first.

Sachi: After the Fall of Beacon, she discovered she possessed the power of the legendary Silver-Eyed warriors and traveled to Mistral with team JN(P)R.

Toomi: Ruby and the rest of her allies have been moving towards Atlas to keep the Relic of Knowledge safe, only for her to discover newer revelations about her Silver Eyes and their power.

Sachi: With her semblance, Ruby is capable of moving extremely fast, travelling at the speed of 195 km/h.

Megumi: She can also run on walls,  sprint and jump up on objects while they are falling in mid-air in seconds oh and did I mention she could even create a vacuum as well?

Toomi: That's not all, with her Silver Eyes, Ruby even once froze a Grimm Dragon completely.

Sachi: With her speed, Ruby is able to move fast enough to dodge Roman Torchwick's gunshots and maneuvered around missiles when fighting Cordovan's mech.

Megumi: And being a team leader does has it's perks. Ruby is able to come out with brilliant strategies to take on enemies and the same kind of intelligence allowed her to take out Neopolitan.

Accepted into Beacon Academy at an early age (2 years early).

Killed a Nevermore (Had help from her team and JNPR earlier).

Won a food fight against Team JNPR.

Helped destroy a prototype of the Atlesian Paladin-290 with the aid of her fellow teammates (Especially Yang).

Killed a Beringel by herself.

Froze the Grimm Dragon with The Silver Eyes (Possibly comparable to Cinder Fall with Fall Maiden).

This very same attack left Cinder mutilated. It is heavily implied Cinder has a crippling weakness to the Silver Eyes after fully absorbing the Fall Maiden's power.

Helped stop The Breach.

Helped Team RNJR kill the Nuckleavee Grimm.

She and her team/friends (RWBY) have finally reunited at Haven

Toomi: And remember the dragon grimm, well defeating the Dragon Grimm isn't Ruby's only giant monster feat. With her Silver Eyes, Ruby has even petrified a Leviathan, a sea Grimm similar in size to the Wyvern at Beacon

Megumi: But the Silver Eyes has it's flaws as well. It has only been shown to be effective against Grimms and Maidens, meaning there's a high chance it has no effect against other beings.

Sachi: And even though the same technique has defeated Cinder, please note that Cinder was powered by the strength of a Maiden, meaning that technique is one hundred percent effective on her only. I mean Ruby tried that on Emerald once and it failed.

Weakness

Still young and inexperienced.

Rather naive and air-headed.

Socially awkward.

She is almost completely incapable of self-defense without her weapon.

Lost in a hand-to-hand bout with Yang.

Also lost to a White Fang grunt when she was separated from Crescent Rose

All her strategies and greatest feats were mostly due to teamwork and help.

Even with her superspeed, she can still be overwhelmed or tagged by other semblance users.

Really it's only ever been directly stated to be effective against Grimm and Maidens, implying that it may not be much of a threat against opponents who are neither

Negative memories and thoughts clouding her mind can stall the activation

Toomi: Ruby's biggest flaws are her own abilities, while she may be considered the fastest character in the series, she is nowhere stronger. Ruby has little to no combat training and is completely vulnerable without Crescent Rose

Sachi: And most of her feats are mostly from outside help.

Megumi: But Ruby is capable of getting her head in the game when really need be. In the end, Ruby is one red riding hood you don't want to mess with.

In the black night of New York City, Ruby walks along the dimly litted road, humming to herself.

All of a sudden, a figure cladded in red, black and blue lands right in front of her, startling Ruby.

Thud!

Ruby: Eek!

Spiderman stands upright, facing Ruby and he says.

Spiderman: Whoa whoa girl. You going around carrying that thing? You better keep it otherwise I'm gonna have to hand you over to the authorities.

Ruby points Crescent Rose at Spiderman, saying to him defiantly.

Ruby: No way! Crescent Rose stays with me!

Spiderman: With great power, comes a great beatdown.

Announcer: Fight!

Ruby rushes forward, swinging Crescent Rose only for Spiderman to swerve his body, dodging the blows.

Just as Ruby swings her weapon outwards, Spiderman throws a single punch, sending Ruby flying back.

WHAM!!!

Ruby: YAAAHHHHHH!!!

As Ruby halts in midair, Spiderman points a finger at her, saying.

Spiderman: You've got a black belt for stupid if you think you can beat me.

Ruby: Just wait until you see what I can do with it!

Ruby lunges forward, forcing Spiderman to jump over her.

Twip!

Spiderman shot a string of webbing, swinging over Ruby before slamming his feet into her.

WHAM!!!

Ruby: ARGHHHHH!!!

Spiderman strikes at Ruby repeatly before jumping backwards, sending Ruby flying with a single kick.

Spiderman looks up just as Ruby points Crescent Rose at him, opening fire at him.

As the bullets flies across the air, Spiderman felt his Spidey Senses tingle across his head, prompting the hero to swerve his body to the side, dodging the bullets.

As the bullets rains down onto the floor, Spiderman sighs out and he said to his Spidey Sense

Spiderman: Good old Spider-Sense... What'd I do without you?

Ruby: Ready..............Go!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before Spiderman could even react, Ruby flashes past him before swinging Crescent Rose, slashing right into his body.

SLASH!!!

Spiderman: Yah!

SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!!

Ruby slashes at Spiderman repeatly before pointing her Scthye at him, opening fire at the Friendly Neighbourhood Spiderman.

BANG!!!

Spiderman: Yeow!

Spiderman screams out in agony as he fell downwards onto the floor.

Ruby rushes forward, running swiftly around Spiderman.

As Spiderman pushes himself up, Ruby strikes into him.

WHAM!!!

Spiderman throws a left hook, only for his hand to phase pass her before receiving a blow to the cheek.

WHAM!!!

Ruby: Rifle shot!

BANG!!!

Just as Ruby opens fire, Spiderman felt his Spidey Senses tingle, prompting him to leap up into the air.

Ruby: What?!

Ruby could only watch dumbfounded as Spiderman flies over her, pointing his web shooter at her before launching a blast of webbings at her direction.

Twip!

Ruby: ARGHHH!!!

Ruby screams out in both agony and disgust just as the webs sticks onto her skin.

Spiderman: Remember that one time in the fight when it looked like you might actually win? No? Me neither.

Spiderman swings across the street, striking at Ruby relentlessly.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Twip!

Spiderman launches a string of webbing at her, before tugging Ruby towards him, throwing a punch square in her cheek.

BAM!!!

Ruby: WAHHHHH!!!

Spiderman: Look out! Here comes the Spider-Man!

Spiderman rushes forward, preparing to finish her off.

Ruby looks up, narrowing her eyes just as she rushes forward, slamming into Spiderman.

BAM!!!

Ruby: Can you take this?

SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!!

Ruby spins Crescent Rose swiftly, slicing into Spiderman before swinging the hilt upwards, striking him in the chin.

BAM!!!

As Spiderman is sent flying, Ruby's eyes flashes silver before screaming out.

Ruby: Let me show you my power!!! YAHHHHHH!!!

FLASH!!!

Bright silver light shines over the streets, silhouettes of wings forming in the process.

However, Spiderman simply lands back, grabbing a street lamp and he jumps upwards, screaming out.

Spiderman: Oh no you don't!

Before Ruby could even react, Spiderman jumps over her attack before swinging the pole across, striking her in the cheek.

WHAM!!!

Ruby: AAAHHHHH!!!

As Ruby stumbles back, she looks back at Spiderman with a look of pure shock and disbelief.

Ruby: What? But how?

Spiderman: I have no idea what was that attack supposed to do, was it meant for me or something?

Spiderman questions her mockingly.

Ruby felt her blood boiling just as she rushes forward, screaming out.

Ruby: I'll never forgive you!

Ruby lunges forward, only for Spiderman to throw a single punch, striking her in the face.

WHAM!!!

Ruby: YAHHHH!!!

Spiderman then jumps back, firing several shots of webbings across the street.

As Ruby halts on the road, she looks around left and right, watching in confusion as the projectiles simply flies past her.

Just as Ruby turns to look, she could only her a voice singing out of tune.

Spiderman: I came in like a Wreaking Ball!

BAM!!!

Ruby: YAHHHHHHH!!!

Ruby screams out in agony just as her body slams into the sticky wall of webbings.

Twip!

Spiderman fires a shot of webbing up on the roof, swinging across the street.

As Ruby continues to thrash helplessly, Spiderman slams his feet square into her body.

BAM!!!

The sheer impact of the blow shook Ruby's entire body before the Huntress went off in a bloody explosion of gore.

As Crescent Rose falls onto the floor, Spiderman lands feet first next to the weapon, shrugging as he speaks out mockingly.

Spiderman: Just a little heads up... I wouldn't pick up the Daily Bugle tomorrow if I were you

Spiderman fires a shot of webbing upwards before swinging away, unaware of a mysterious figure snapping pictures of him

Toomi: While Ruby Rose is a fairly decent fighter, sad to say, Spiderman has her outclassed in many categories.

Megumi: Yeah, Ruby may be considered the fastest character in the series but Spidey has managed to take on opponents like Wolverine and Black Panther who are fast enough to dodge Cyclops' Optic Beams.

Sachi: And just to note, Cyclops' Optic Beams are known to be faster than a speeding bullet, estimated to travel at the speed of light in the direction he is looking. Not only that, he has also tackled Speed Demon who can travel at the speed of sound

Megumi: Yeah, no RWBY characters has ever been shown to move at those kind of speed

Toomi: Ruby may also be able to take on Grimms and Beowulfs but none of those are comparable to Spiderman taking on the likes of the Hulk, who is strong enough to go toe to toe against Thor and Sentry.

Sachi: And while Silver Eyes may be a very powerful ability, Ruby has not only very little experience using it but it is only effective against the likes of Grimms and Maidens which unfortunately for her, Spiderman is neither of those two.

Toomi: And the biggest game changer is Spiderman's combat abilities, Spiderman has managed to take on skilled martial artists like Daredevil, Wolverine, Elektra, Kingpin, Captain America and Moon Knight. Matched against the Sinister Six and Sinister Seven on multiple occasions, despite being outnumbered and overpowered and even defeated Firelord, a herald of Galactus who is said to be as powerful as Silver Surfer

Megumi: And considering how Ruby lost against her sister Yang who is nowhere near any of their level, yeah, Ruby is pretty much screwed. I mean, so many of these characters would one shot everyone in the RWBYverse.

Toomi: Having the complete advantage in strength, combat ability, speed, durability and experience, Spiderman takes this win completely over the leader of RWBY

Megumi: Looks like those Silver Eyes gave Ruby no Scthye of victory

Sachi: The winner is Spiderman
