Survived countless clearly fatal wounds.

Guts is bloodthirsty and sadist

Because of the nature of his monstrous opponents reverting to human form in death, Guts is considered a mass-murderer in the public eye.

Prefers close combat.

Will do anything to gain an advantage.

Even injure himself in the process.

The majority of his major battles involve Guts suffering fatal injuries. The fact that he's still alive and healthy is clearly physically impossible for any other human.

Cannot recover from amputation or eye damage.

Missing his right eye

His regular bodyarmor isn't very strong. Even basic crossbow bolts can pierce this armor easily.

A magical curse makes demons attracted to Guts; meaning his life is in constant danger.

Could lose control of himself if possessed by his inner darkness or under the influence of the Berserker Armor. One consequence is that he lost Casca's trust.

Even without the Berserker Armor, Guts has a sadistic bloodlust due to his absurdly brutal past.

In the dark shadowy forest, all seems to be peaceful and tranquil.

However, the tranquility of the night was interrupted by the sound of slashing cutting through the air.

Mantis monster: EEEEEE!!!!

The insectoid head of the mantis monster drops onto the ground, rolling just by a pair of black shoes.

Dante stares at the carcass of his most recent kill, saying.

Dante: Alright, that's another one of thos Kamacuras thingies off my list. Now to find more of them.

Just as Dante is walking, all of a sudden, he heard a low whistling cutting across the air.

WEEEEEEE....

SLASH!!!!

Dante spun around and he swung his sword across.

His eyes narrows as several broken arrows falls from the air.

PLOP!!!!

As the arrows drops onto the ground, Dante heard a deep voice within the trees complimenting him.

???: Not bad.

Dante looks and he saw a large tall muscular man cladded in a black armour approaching him, resting a huge black sword on his shoulder.

He is Guts, the Black Swordsman. 

Dante stood up and he questions.

Dante: Who are you? Got some beef with me man?

Guts: The name's Guts, and you stole my kill.

Guts replied gruffly.

Dante simply shrugs and he answers indifferently.

Dante: Hey finders killers. 

Guts shifts his foot into a battle stance and he said.

Guts: Alright then, I guess I should kill you now.

THOOM!!!!

Both Dante and Guts launches themselves forward, both their swords clashing into each other.

CLANG!!!!

CLANK!!! CLANG!!! CLANK!!!!

Both Guts and Dante swung their swords at each other, Dragonslayer and Rebellion seemingly evenly matched in strength despite the huge difference in size.

Just as Guts swung Dragonslayer downwards, Dante jumps up and he throws a kick.

WHAM!!!!

Guts: Urgh!

Guts grunts as he felt the kick strike him across the face.

SLASH!!!!

Dante then swung Rebellion across his chest, drawing blood.

Guts narrows his eyes before spinning around, slamming Dragonslayer right into Dante's chest.

SHOK!!!!

Dante: Ough!!!

Dante coughs out just as Guts throws him up into the air.

Guts aims his gaunlet at the falling Dante before letting it fall downwards, revealing a cannon inside.

Guts: Begone!

Guts: THOT!!!!

KABOOM!!!!

Dante: Whoaaa!!!!

Dante screams out as he the sheer firepower blasted him backwards.

Guts smirks and he sprints after Dante.

SCRATCH!!!!

Dante skids across the ground before pushing his hand inside Lucifer, rummaging through the bag.

As Guts closes in, Dante pulls out several spiked projectiles and he launches them at Guts.

WIIIIIII!!!! SHOK!!!

Guts grits his teeth as he felt the spikes stab through his skin.

Dante launches himself forward, drawing out Yamato as well.

Just as Guts looks up, Dante stabs both Rebellion and Yamato right through his chest.

SHOK!!!!

Guts: OUGH!!!!

WHAM!!!!

Dante kicks Guts up before slashing repeatly at him.

SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!!

Dante spun back and he throws a kick, sending Guts crashing back.

WHAM!!!

Guts crashes into a tree and he falls onto his knees.

Dante smirks and he said to him.

Dante: C'mon pal, surely you can do better than that.

Guts looks up and he smirks at Dante, pointing his arm at Dante.

Without warning, Guts swung his other hand across his belt before swinging it outwards, throwing a knife towards him.

Dante swerves his head to the side, dodging the projectile.

SHOK!!!

As the knife stabs right into a tree, Guts began launching a barrage of arrows at Dante.

SHOK!!! SHOK!!! SHOK!!! SHOK!!!

CLANG!!! CLANG!!! CLANG!!!

Dante swung his swords across the air, deflecting the arrows before launching himself upwards.

Up in the air, Dante draws out Ebony and Ivory and he said to them.

Dante: Alright ladies, let's show him what we're made off.

BANG!!! BANG!! BANG!!! BANG!!!

Guts: ARGHHHH!!!!

Guts screams out in agony as the bullets pierces through his skin, severely injuring him.

Thud!

As Dante lands behind him, he points both Ebony and Ivory and he continues to open fire at Guts.

BANG!!! BANG!!! BANG!!! BANG!!!

As each continuous rounds of bullets struck into his skin, Guts closes his eyes.

Without warning, a black armour suddenly equips itself around Guts, encasing him within.

CLANK!!! CLANK!!!

Guts stood up, his entire outer appearance covered in a black armour resembling a bloodhound.

Guts has donned the Berserker Armour!

As Guts spun around to face Dante, Dante stares at him and he remarks.

Dante: Huh. Interesting, what kind of armour is that?

However, Guts stood there silent.

Dante: Not much of a talker now huh? Alright, let's see how those two ladies handle against that tin can of yours.

BANG!!! BANG!!! BANG!!!

Dante opens fire at Guts, determined to finish him.

CLANK!!! CLANK!!! CLANK!!!

However, the bullets simpy bounces off the Berserker Armour, barely piercing through it's tough metal outerior.

BOOM!!!!

Guts launches himself forward and he slams Dragonslayer right through Dante's chest.

SHOK!!!!

Dante's eyes widens as he felt the sharp pain ripping through his ribs, causing him to cough out blood.

Dante: OUGH!!!

SHOK!!!!

Guts tugs Dragonslayer out of Dante's chest and he swung his sword across, slashing at the red cladded warrior.

SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!!

Dante: OUGH!!!!

BAM!!!

Guts slams his shoulder right into Dante, sending him tumbling back.

CRASH!!!

Dante grits his teeth as he slams backfirst into a tree before collapsing onto the ground.

As Dante pushes himself up, he thought to himself.

Dante: Amazing. His strikes are heavier than before. It's like that armour just increased his power. 

Guts launches himself forward, ready to attack.

Dante launches himself up into the air just as Guts swung Dragonslayer across the trees.

BOOM!!!!

Dante jaws drops as he saw a huge radius of trees shattering upon the sheer impact of the strike.

Dante: What kind of monster is he?

Dante wonder to himself as he points Ivory at Guts and he opens fire.

BANG!!!!

THONK!!!

The bullet bounces off Guts's Berserker Armour and the Black Swordsman spun around.

Thud!

As Dante lands on the ground, he declares.

Dante: Alright pal. You're strong, I give you that. But....

Dante pulls out Pandora and he swung it around, causing it to transform into a huge barrage of weaponary.

CLANK!!! CLANK!!! CLANK!!!

Dante aims the entire mass of guns at Guts and he opens fire, launching a barrage of missiles towards him.

BOOM!!! BOOM!!! BOOM!!!

SHHHHHHH!!!

As the missiles flies across the air, Guts aims his arm cannon and the gaunlet falls forward, allowing him to open fire.

BOOM!!!

KABOOM!!!

As one of the cannons struck the missile, the projectile explodes upon coming into contact.

Guts jumps up just as the missiles struck him, causing a huge massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!!

Dante watches as the explosion rings across the sky, briefly turning the night into day.

As the explosion dies down, suddenly, a black figure falls downwards before landing on the ground with a loud thud.

THUD!!!!

Dante draws out both Rebellion and Yamato and he sighs in exasperation.

Dante: Never know when to quit do you?

THOOM!!!

Both Guts and Dante launches themselves forward and the two swung their swords against each other.

CLANK!!!!

As the two faces the opposite side, Guts spun around and he launches several arrows at Dante while his back is turned.

SHOK!!! SHOK!!! SHOK!!!

However, Dante suddenly enters into Quicksilver Mode, causing the everything to freeze in time.

TONG!!!

SHOK!!!!

Before Guts even knew it, suddenly, he felt something drove right through his heart.

Guts looks down and he saw Dante right below him, with both Yamato and Rebellion struck within his chest.

SHOK!!!

Dante pulls Yamato and Rebellion out of his chest and he screams out.

Dante: YAHHHHH!!!!

Within seconds, Dante is now fully cladded in an armoured like state.

He has unlocked Devil Trigger.

Just as Guts swings Dragonslayer, Dante dodges the attacks before stabbing Rebellion right into his chest.

SHOK!!!!

As Guts staggers back, Dante sprints forward and he throws a punch, striking Guts across the face.

WHAM!!!!

Dante summons a clone of himself and it launches itself forward, striking Guts right in the face.

WHAM!!!

As Guts falls backwards, Dante swung Yamato across the air, launching an energy arc right through his body.

SLASH!!!!

Blood spills across the ground as Guts's entire body splits into half before falling onto the ground.

Plop!

As blood pools underneath him, Dante reverts back into his base form and he turns around, shrugging as he said.

Dante: Like I said pal, finders killers.
