Chapter 14: Station

Taehyung ended up staying in his house. Jungkook was preparing food for him and Taehyung was gladly watching him while sitting on the chair in front of Jungkook.

"You look manly with that apron. I don't know what to do if you aren't with me." Taehyung teased, giggling.

Jungkook simply smirked, turning off the stove and proceeding to set down all the food on the table.

"You can eat now, hyung." Jungkook uttered, ruffling Taehyung's hair.

Taehyung also giggled and enjoyed the food that Jungkook made for him.

"Are you going to do something?" Taehyung asked while chewing.

"Nothing important for today besides you." Jungkook retorted, sitting beside Taehyung.

"Are you sure? You might miss something this day." Taehyung uttered.

"I'm hundred percent sure, hyung." Jungkook replied.

"Okay." Taehyung sighed.

"Do you want us to watch some movie hyung?" Jungkook asked.

Taehyung looked at him, thinking what should he answer.

"That's a good idea, but I don't want to go outside. I'm too lazy to move right now." Taehyung retorted with a bit of pout on his lips which made Jungkook coo at his cuteness.

"It's alright hyung, we're just going to watch here. I'll buy snacks for us and you can set up the TV." Jungkook stated.

"Hm, okay." Taehyung agreed.

When Taehyung was done eating, Jungkook left to buy snacks since they didn't have stocks left. While he was arranging the couch, he heard a knock. He was kind of confused because Jungkook just left a few minutes ago, it's impossible if he comes back so early.

"Why did you come back so early? Did you--" Taehyung didn't finish his sentence when he opened the door.

Two polices standing in front of him.

"Are you Kim Taehyung?" The police inquired.

"Yes, it's me. Why sir?" Taehyung inquired.

"May we invite you to the station? We just need to talk with you since you are the primary suspect for killing Michael." The police stated.

"Wuh-what? What do you mean? What happened to him?" Taehyung asked confused and shocked.

"He was found dead, buried in his own backyard. His mom, Karen told us that you are only a person who can do it to her son." The police explained.

"I'll come with you but please can we wait for a little bit? I need to tell my brother, he might get worried about me." Taehyung pleaded.

"Sorry, Mr. Kim but we can't wait. You have to go with us now so we can wrap up this investigation." The police declined.

Taehyung bit his bottom lips, nodding his head. He came with them in the police car.

Jungkook came back after buying every Taehyung's favorite. He was near their house when he saw the door was opened, he was confused because Taehyung never left the door open. He hurried inside but he didn't see Taehyung.

"Hyung, where are you?" Jungkook asked, checking the room.

He didn't find Taehyung anywhere, he was getting nervous and worried about Taehyung.

"You're here, If you are looking for Taehyung, the police brought him to the police station."

When Jungkook heard that, he didn't hesitate to run out of the house.

"Mr. Kim, are you sure you didn't kill him?" Lieutenant Choi asked while typing everything on the laptop.

"I'm sure sir, I don't have the intention to kill him." Taehyung retorted.

"But his mother told us that you two broke up and fought because of misunderstanding. You are too mad at Michael." Lieutenant Choi stated.

"Sir, she lied, weren't in a relationship. Yes, we fought but it was his fault. He attacked me in my coffee shop and even forced me to come back to him, you can see it in my CCTV cameras at my coffee shop. His mom also threatened me, she want to blame me. Sir, I can't kill Michael." Taehyung explained.

"He attacked you but why you didn't report to us? I also found out that you two fought in the party." Lieutenant Choi inquired.

"I don't need to report it, sir, my hyungs already helped me about that. Yes, you're right sir but he's the one who started the fight. I won't fight back if he didn't disrespect me." Taehyung answered.

"Why don't you just tell the truth that you killed him? You are making my head hurt." Lieutenant sighed, rubbing his temples.

"Why would I have to say that if I didn't do anything bad? I'm telling the truth, you just didn't want to believe in me." Taehyung added.

"You are a good liar, Mr. Kim. For now, we'll detain you hereafter the result comes out. We had to investigate you first before we let you go." Lieutenant Choi uttered

Taehyung sighed in disappointment. He doesn't have any choice but to obey them.

"Bring him in the temporary cell." Lieutenant Choi ordered his colleagues and stood up.

His colleagues came and took Taehyung. They brought him in the cell, unlocking the handcuffs before they locked the cell. Taehyung sat down on the cold ground, hugging his knees.

Jungkook arrived, panting heavily. He went to the police desk.

"Is Kim Taehyung here?" Jungkook asked.

"Yes, who are you?"

"I'm Jeon Jungkook, his brother." Jungkook replied.

"Just get inside, you'll see him."

Jungkook got inside, he saw Taehyung sitting.

"Hyung." Jungkook called.

Taehyung looked at him with tearful eyes.

"J-Jungkook" Taehyung stuttered.

"Don't worry hyung, everything will be okay. Jin hyung will come here to bail you out. Just wait a little bit, hyung." Jungkook comforted, holding Taehyung's hands.

"I-I'm not a killer, Jungkook, I didn't kill anyone." Taehyung sobbed.

"I know hyung, I trust you. Don't cry hyung, we'll solve this. We'll find out who's trying to set up you, okay?" Jungkook uttered.

Taehyung nodded his head while sobbing. Later on, the police opened the cell.

"Kim Taehyung, you're free." The police said.

They saw Jin, Taehyung ran to him and hugged him tightly.

"Everything's fine for now, Taehyung. Don't cry." Jin said, caressing Taehyung's back.

"Tuh-thank you, hyung." Taehyung sniffled.

"It's okay, let's go back to your house. We'll discuss this." Jin uttered.

Taehyung nodded his head, Jungkook and him followed Jin. They both got inside the car and leave the station.
