Chapter 15: Situation

Taehyung got bailed by Jin for his temporary freedom. He will be a primary suspect until the case was still moving. He will get arrested once the police get their warrant of arrest and also if the court proved that he was guilty of murder.

His coffee shop was currently handled by Hoseok while his other hyungs were investigating the case.

"I-I'm sorry, it's my fault, I shouldn't engage all of you with my own problems." Taehyung uttered while sitting on the couch, nervously fidgeting his fingers.

"Taehyung, stop blaming yourself. We'll find a way to solve this, okay? It's just a setup to make you look criminal. I know you can't kill someone, you're innocent." Jin comforted him, caressing his back.

"She threatened me hyung, I should've listened to her. I'm afraid she'll set up all of you." Taehyung said, looking at Jin with teary eyes.

"Who's she, Taehyung? Whom are you referring to?" Jin asked curiously?

"Karen, she's Michael's mom. I'm sure she will do anything to make me suffer." Taehyung retorted.

"Did she do something to you?" Jin asked worriedly.

"Before Michael's death, she forced me to come back to her son. She told me that her son will do suicide if I didn't come back with Michael." Taehyung explained.

"That's blackmail we might use that as evidence." Namjoon joined.

"But we need stronger evidence." Yoongi said.

"Did they mention when Michael's death?" Namjoon asked.

"They didn't." Taehyung replied.

"We have to know that so we can prove that you stayed here when the crime happened." Namjoon stated.

"How?" Taehyung asked with hoping eyes.

"I think, Jimin can help us about that." Yoongi muttered.

Meanwhile, Jimin went to the police station. For some unbeknownst reason, some of the police bowed to him when he went inside. He simply smiled at them. He knocked on Lieutenant Choi's office.

"Come in." Lieutenant Choi responded.

Jimin opened the door, casually going inside the office. He was roaming his eyes around the office.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" Lieutenant Choi inquired confusedly looking at Jimin.

Jimin glared at him and smiled.

"Me? I'm Jimin, Kim Taehyung's friend, the innocent boy you arrested earlier, remember?" Jimin inquired with a smirk on his lips.

"For your information, he isn't innocent, he was a murderer who killed innocent people." Lieutenant Choi replied.

"Are you sure about that, Lieutenant?" Jimin snickered.

"Yes, and I will make sure to prove it until he gets rotten in jail." Lieutenant Choi uttered, gritting his teeth.

"That's good to hear, Lieutenant. But make sure you're honest. You might don't like what consequences you'll get." Jimin grinned.

"What are you saying? Are you perhaps threatening me?" Lieutenant Choi inquired, raising his brow.

"Threatened? Not really, it's a warning so you can be prepared. Because once I found out you belong to those people who are trying to set up my friend, make sure to give up your badge, Lieutenant." Jimin seriously said, glaring at Lieutenant Choi.

Lieutenant Choi let out an airy chuckle, leaning on his chair, and smiled at Jimin.

"Don't worry kid, I'll make sure I won't give up my badge. I'll show you that your friend is a criminal and murderer. He shouldn't live in peace, he deserves to be rot in jail." Lieutenant Choi added with a smirk.

"You're very confident, Lieutenant. I will let you speak, but once the table turned, I'll cut your tongue." Jimin warned, taking his small dagger in his pocket.

Lieutenant Choi gulped when he saw the dagger.

"Leave my office before I report you!" Lieutenant Choi growled, slamming the table when he stood up and pointed to the door.

"See you next time, Lieutenant hope you rest in peace." Jimin grinned hiding the dagger and leave the office with frustrated Lieutenant Choi.

In Taehyung's house, Taehyung fall asleep since he wasn't feeling well, his stress wasn't helping him at all and Jin brought him into his room.

"But Jimin hyung isn't here." Jungkook uttered.

"Don't worry, I'm sure he's doing what he's supposed to do." Yoongi assured.

"What do you mean, hyung?" Jungkook asked confused.

Yoongi smirked, shrugging off his shoulder.

"Just trust them, Jungkook, they know what they are doing." Jin assured, patting Jungkook's shoulder.

"And you kid, why don't you focus on your studies? You should be studying right now." Namjoon said, flicking Jungkook's forehead.

"But I want to help hyung." Jungkook retorted.

"Sure you can, now do your lesson and prepare for your studies." Namjoon added, kind of harshly patting Jungkook's back.

"But"

"No more buts, go to your room or else, I won't let you see Taehyung." Namjoon grinned.

With a frown, Jungkook leave them to the living room and went to his room.

In Jimin's perspective, he was currently talking to the police officer, more likely making a deal.

"That's all I need, give me all the reports when you found it, understood?" Jimin uttered talking to the police.

"Sure sir, I'll do everything."

"Good, Investigate him and tell me if you see him with this girl." Jimin said and showed Karen's picture.

"I will, sir."

"I'll go now, don't get caught." Jimin snickered.

The police officer bowed his head and he left.

Jungkook stayed in Taehyung's room, he was gazing at Taehyung's face. He held his hyung's hand, pecking each knuckle.

"Don't worry, hyung, I'll do my best to help you. I'll show you how much I love you, hyung. If I had to forfeit my everything, I will do it for you, hyung. To give you back what you did to me and for helping me." Jungkook muttered, he leaned towards Taehyung, pecking his forehead.

Jin accidentally heard and saw everything, standing behind the door. He just stayed behind the door, holding the tray of food with an unreadable expression. Take note, no one knows about Jungkook's true feelings for Taehyung.

They only know that Jungkook loves Taehyung as a brother, nothing else.

But, what will be the hyungs reaction if they found out about that? Will they accept Jungkook's feelings? Mostly will Taehyung accept him?
