Chapter 24: Confronted

Jungkook came back to his house, he saw Sue sitting on the couch while waiting for him.

"Finally you came, where did you go?" Sue asked standing up in front of him while crossing her arms.

"I'll change clothes and talk to you, okay?" Jungkook responded.

"Fine, I'll wait and roast you." Sue sighed.

Jungkook went to his room while Sue sat down on the couch once again. She was just using her phone, scrolling through her newsfeed when her eyes caught something. She saw Jungkook with an unfamiliar man for her.

She stood up, went upstairs, and barged inside Jungkook's room. She saw Jungkook drying his hair with the towel and also covering his bottom part using the towel but showing his chest.

"Why?" Jungkook inquired.

"Who is he?" Sue asked shoving her phone to his face.

Jungkook looked at her phone, sighing.

"No one." Jungkook replied grabbing a shirt in his cabinet.

"You can't lie on me, tell me who is he? And why both of you are in the restaurant?" Sue asked gritting her teeth.

"I told you, he's no one." Jungkook replied.

"Do you really think I would believe that? Stop lying and just tell me why are you with this guy?!" Sue grumbled.

"It's none of your business!" Jungkook retorted.

"It is my business, everyone thought I'm your girlfriend and besides, I'll be your fiance. I have the right to know about him!" Sue fired.

"I just talked to him and tell him something important. Is that enough for you? Why are you so mad about that?" Jungkook fired back.

"I don't like this news, the headline said you seem to date this guy. Who do you think will be happy with this? Do something to remove this news!" Sue responded.

"I don't want to get involved with that news. If I tell them to delete that, people will start a rumor. Nothing will change. Just ignore and report it if you don't like it." Jungkook stated.

"You'll just ignore this? This is such disgusting news, it will ruin your image. Why can't you see I'm just helping you? I know what's good for you." Sue replied.

"I don't need your help." Jungkook said shaking his head due to frustration.

"Yes you need, this will create a big issue with your name. Look, people recognize him, and they said your dating a criminal." Sue stated.

"He's not a criminal, don't talk to him like that, you don't know him!" Jungkook blurted out while clenching his jaw.

"Then why are you protecting him like that?" Sue inquired.

"Because I don't want you to talk to him like that. He just got set up and accused of a crime he never did. He's not guilty, he's innocent. If you say that again, just leave me alone and let me be." Jungkook retorted glaring at her.

Sue sighed, she went in front of Jungkook, laying both of her palms on his chest.

"I'm sorry, Jungkook. I just got worried and upset about you, I don't want to see your failure. I just want what's good for you. I'm sorry." Sue uttered.

Jungkook sighed, closing his eyes to calm down. Sue take it as an advantage and tiptoed, kissing Jungkook's lips.

Meanwhile, Taehyung and Bogum were now in Bogum's house.

"You're house is neat, hyung." Taehyung said.

"I heard that many times." Bogum replied setting the box on his table.

"By the way, hyung, when did you get free?" Taehyung asked.

"Just a month ago, I won the case against me." Bogum smiled.

"Where's your family? You never told me about them?" Taehyung asked once again.

"They were away from me, it's good for them to have a peaceful life. I don't want to involve them in my messy life." Bogum sighed.

"I should've visited you." Taehyung pouted.

Bogum chuckled, ruffling Taehyung's hair.

"You don't have to, besides, you don't have a reason to visit me. Anyways, how are you and the boy you talking about when we're in jail?" Bogum asked sitting down on the couch.

"He's doing fine, and he has his own life now." Taehyung replied.

"Did he get his own family?" Bogum asked curiously.

"Kinda like that." Taehyung uttered.

"I see, this is my payment, thank you for delivery." Bogum chuckled and gave the money to Taehyung who accepted it.

He changed the topic since he noticed that Taehyung was getting uncomfortable.

"You're welcome, by the way, do you want to be a boy? I need someone to help me deliver orders, I can't hire someone since you know, they are scared of me." Taehyung stated.

"Sure, I need income too. Besides, I'm not scared of you." Bogum giggled.

"I'll call you, and I hope you pass the interview with my hyungs. They were strict but please don't be scared of them." Taehyung added

"Sure thing, I'll make them like me." Bogum replied.

"I'll go now, hyung, have a good day." Taehyung said bowing to him.

"Have a good day to you too, Taehyung!" Bogum said while waving his hands.

Taehyung left the house with a smile plastered on his lips. He got inside his car, starting to drive away from the village.

Jungkook was in his room with naked Sue on his bed, sleeping peacefully. He did it with her but he felt it was wrong. His mind only thought about Taehyung when he did it. He can only see Taehyung's face.

He shouldn't be thinking of him but he can't help it. He stood up and leave his room. He went out of his house to go to the park at 2 am. He was walking on the road wearing a face mask so no one can recognize him.

While crossing in the middle of the road, he stopped when he heard the car honking, he looked on his left side but the blinding light blocked his sight. He just knew that suddenly everything went black in just a second before he can even do anything.
