When the Moon fell in love, with the Sun, all was golden in the sky. All was golden when the day met the night.

The Sun was dancing. He was running and twirling around in the grassy fields in the bright light of day. He spent most of his days that way, smiling and dancing without a care in the world; but if you asked him if he was happy his answer would be a lie.

When the Sun found the Moon, she was drinking tea in a garden under the green umbrella trees in the middle of summer.

As the day started to come to a close, the sky shifted from bright blue to golden yellow. The Sun noticed someone walking toward a small bench in a garden had never noticed before. He sat down with a book and a cup of tea.

The Sun watched him with curious and wide eyes, approaching him. He'd never seen another person like him; he knew they were alike, seeing the silver markings on his face even from afar. Before he knew it, he was standing a few feet away, and he'd looked up at him.

When the Moon found the Sun, he looked like he was barely hanging on, but her eyes saved his life in the middle of summer.

The Moon looked at him, meeting his eyes. He saw the gold markings on his face, knowing they were somehow the same despite not knowing him. When he looked into his eyes, the Moon could see loneliness and pain. The Sun's breath caught in his throat upon seeing his beautiful eyes. They were brilliant silver and deep blue, making his heart race.

"Hi?"
