Jerome's POV:

I had a sick feeling as I walked through the streets of the Sky village. I had warned some soldiers to keep people from wandering too much. I had no knowledge on these 'Demi-gods' besides what Seto told us so I don't know who they'll take next. And I don't want to be blamed.

The last time blame was put on me, me and Bajan were exiled from this place.

I saw a few soldiers on post up ahead, none looking younger than 16. It just made me even more upset. None of us were old. We didn't age. Dammit, Mu doesn't look older than 13.

I shook my head, clearing my thoughts and moving on, turning a corner so I wouldn't need to approach them. Sky, Husky, and Ssun weren't anywhere. I've checked the wall, the castle, plus I've asked around. The idea that the Demi gods are here are becoming more and more real.

"Jerome!" A sigh of relief escaped as I heard Ssun's voice. Turning, I saw him approaching, waving both his hands in the air.

"You're got me on the brink of worry," I almost yelled as he got closer.

"Hey I'm sorry. I was setting up a forced field. By the way be careful near the fuse box in the castle. Might explode."

"What?"

"Never mind," Ssun chuckles nervously and put a hand behind his head, "have you see Kip? I need to warn him to keep his fish hands off it."

"Haven't seen him," I shrugged, "neither sky."

"Taken."

"What??"

"Yeah they got to him," Ssun dropped both hands, "Some soldiers put him in the hospital where the others are. His one eye was as blank as theirs."

"One eye?"

"Oh. Kip told me he got in a bad battle," Ssun explained. I bit my lower lip in worry. If it's just one more person goes missing...

"General Jerome! General Ssundee," a soldier approached, or ran, us. Giving us a salute.

"Er. No need for the names," Ssun chuckled, "but what is it?"

"Gen- HuskyMudkip was found with sky's symptoms," the soldier explained, shocking me and Ssun, "should we alert the town to watch for these signs?"

"That won't be necessary. Keep this within the castle," Ssun said without missing a beat. I gave him a look but he just shook it off. When the soldier left he turned back to me.

"Seto told me it's just us. And by now I'm believing it."

"But what if Seto isn't back soon? Will the settle for the second best," I argued, getting him to frown, "they're gonna be desperate if they're working in such a small spot. I thought that they hated each other."
