Siddharth quickly got down the car and looked at the scene before him. Driver killed the engine when he saw his boss has got out of the car abruptly and looked out for him. Akanksha who doesn't have any idea of why he got out of the car in such a rush, also got down the car and went to his side.

Akanksha looked at Siddharth who is blinking his eyes looking at something. So she followed his gaze and saw many people but she got stuck at one person who is kneeling down in front of a small girl.

She took out her phone and looked at the picture she saved for reference. She looked back at the girl wide eyed and turned to Siddharth who stood like a statue with whirlwind of emotions running through him.

He looked at the girl in a pale green dress with her hair open and a worried look plastered on her beautiful face. He blinked once, twice, thrice to see whether he is seeing her really or imagining her.

She was kneeling in front of a small girl and bent forward checking on the girl. That's when he saw the locket he had given to her still there hanging from her neck as she leaned forward. Tears string in his eyes as he saw her.

It's her.

It's really her.

My Ananya, my Love, my Life...........

He snapped out of his daze when he saw Anu got up along with the girl and few other people and went inside a house.

" It's her. Isn't she?" He heard from behind and stopped in his place.

He turned to Akanksha who is staring at him and so he cleared his throat.

" Yes." He said calmly when she blinked at him.

" Good. We found her." She said sadly as her work with him is finished.

He frowned at her.

" You can go back. My driver will drop you at your place." He said to her.

" What? Why?" She asked quickly.

" If you had forgotten Ms. Akanksha, your job is to find her and now we had found her so your job is completed." He stated in his business tone and turned to leave.

" But where are you going?" She asked him.

" None of your concern, you can leave now." He shouted without turning back.

She doesn't know what's happening with her. It's her job to find her and now that her task is accomplished, She should feel happy about it but she is feeling sad and disappointed.

She turned to leave but stopped in her tracks thinking about something. She started walking in the direction he went.

Siddharth on the other side walked inside the gate of the house and stood at the door hesitantly. He peeked inside to see Anu applying bandage to the bruises of the girl. The people around them were talking that how lucky are the little girl and her father as they got out with only minor wounds but not something major when their bike got skid.

He just blanked out all their talks and all the people around. He just stared at the girl for whom he is searching madly from many days.

She looked weak and a little pale but she still looked more beautiful for him. He just stared at her concern yetched face intently.

Akanksha watched him from a side at what he was doing. She understood that he is hiding and watching her. But what shocked her more was the emotions she saw on his face.

There is concern, admiration, adoration, fascination, sadness and many more emotions on his face while looking at Ananya. Her breath got hitched when she saw the emotion in his eyes which she thought he was never capable.

Love.

She watched him dumbstruck as tears flowed from his eyes freely. He didn't care to wipe his tears away as he was focused on only one person who meant world to him.

Siddharth hid himself quickly behind the wall when Anu stood and looked up towards the door. She felt someone was watching her. Her heart is thumping loudly in her chest. She feels a familiar feeling of being close to someone special. But she shrugged it off and walked towards the exit.

Seeing Siddharth hiding behind the wall and Anu coming out, Akanksha decided it's better if she left them alone. She walked back to the car disheartened and told driver to drop her at her office.

Anu came out of the house and started walking into a lane. Siddharth silently followed her observing her  slunched figure and a distant look on her face.

She turned left and walked towards a building. Siddharth frowned and stopped in his place. He watched her going into a house and closing the gate. He assumed it must be the house she is staying.

He just waited in the corner of the lane staring at the house. He doesn't know what to do. He just stood there with a hope that he could see her again.

He felt like a creep and if anyone saw him peeping into the house standing on the road wearing a business suit then he will be doomed. He walked towards her house and looked around.

Something got his attention and when he saw it, he grinned widely.

I am going to be with you on your side every minute from now on whether you want it or not Anu.

Siddharth hailed a cab and went in the direction of his office. He needs to tell the news to his friends first. He is very much happy and he needs to share it with his best friends.

He called Karthik on his way and told him to come to his office. He tapped his foot impatiently as they got stuck in traffic. It was already evening when he reached his office.

Siddharth ran into the office madly making everyone stun. First, they all are seeing him in the office after many days. Second, he is running as if someone is chasing him and third, he was grinning.

Everyone watched him dumbstruck. And Siddharth he didn't care about anything, he just ran upstairs not even waiting for the elevator.

He saw Raj, Neha and Karthik stood at their cubicle talking to each other frowning. When they saw Siddharth who is panting and grinning at the same time, they got shocked.

Before they could understand what's happening, Siddharth lunged at them and took them in a big tight hug. They were surprised at his gesture. Neha was squeezed between Raj and Karthik.

While all others around looked at them bewildered as their boss is hugging his employees.

" Oh God! I can't breathe." Neha choked out.

Siddharth left them and grinned looking at them. They looked still surprised and stunned at him.

" Guys! We found her."

All three blinked their eyes at him and when understood what he said, they squealed and jumped on Siddharth happily. Siddharth who didn't expect this, lost his balance and fell down on the floor along with them making every one around gasp loudly.

Four of them sat up on the floor and looked up to see all the staff looking at them with wide eyes as if they saw ghosts. Four of them looked down embarrassed and again looked at each other.

Seeing the position they are in, Neha couldn't help but laugh loudly and looking at her Raj and Karthik also laughed. Siddharth looked at their laughing and couldn't stop himself from laughing. All of them looked awestruck at the sight of Siddharth laughing. No one has ever seen him smile let alone laugh.

It was a sight to watch and all others also laughed along with them. When they sobered up, Neha, Raj and Karthik turned and looked at Siddharth for details about Anu while others went back to their work.

" Where did you find her?"

" How is she?"

" Tell us from the start."

Three of them shot the questions as soon as they sat in Siddharth's cabin.

" Like everyday me and Ms. Akanksha were on our search mission. In the middle of our search, I got a call from Neha saying me to attend the meeting in the office of Karol bagh. I went and attended the meeting. It was already lunch time, so I told the driver and Ms. Akanksha to have their lunch at a restaurant on our way. They ate and came back and we started to drive for our search. Then there was a little commotion in which I think a bike got skid and a crowd formed there. And there I saw Anu in the crowd." Siddharth explained with tears in his eyes and all three listened to him intently.

" After that I followed her to the house where she is bandaging the wounds of a little girl who fell from the bike. Then I also followed her to the house where she is living." Siddharth said.

" How is she?" Neha asked concerned.

" She looked weak and pale but she is fine." Siddharth said and she nodded sadly.

" Did she see you? " Neha asked him.

" No. I hid myself from her. "

" What are you going to do now? " Raj asked him.

" I have a plan." Siddharth smirked.

" Which is? " Karthik chided.

" When I followed her to the house where she is staying, I saw a To-let board on the gate. So I am going to rent it and stay along with her in the same house." Siddharth said happily.

Three of them looked at him awestruck.

" Are you sure?" Karthik asked him worried.

" I am sure, more than 100%." Siddharth stated confidently.

" But how do you going to do that? " Raj frowned.

" Yeah, will they allow you to stay with them? " Neha asked raising her brows.

" Guys I know that. They will not allow me to stay. In fact if they know it's me then they might again run away. On the board I saw there was a phone number under a name Lakshman Pandey, so I will contact him and rent it." Siddharth shrugged.

" Oh!"

Three of them said and stayed silent.

" You know right it's not as simple as you are explaining it." Raj said seriously.

" Yeah, you should be very careful. Your reasons of staying there should be believable by them." Karthik also said seriously.

" I know guys, don't worry. I know what to do and how to do." Siddharth said smiling at their worried faces.

" Can we see her? " Neha asked him excitingly.

" Can you be calm after seeing her? " Siddharth asked her raising his eyebrow making Raj and Karthik chuckle.

" Please...... I will try to be calm." Neha whined.

" No." Siddharth stated.

" Please Siddharth." She pleaded.

" I can't take any risk right now. If she knows that we know about her whereabouts then she will definitely run away again and I don't want that. I want her to live her life peacefully but not just running away. I know she will eventually know that I am the tenant but I will manage her. You guys should wait a little to see her or to meet her." Siddharth explained to her seriously.

She nodded and they talked for sometime and went to their homes after that.

Siddharth opened her diary lying on his bed.

It's being so difficult not to talk to you, not to hug you and not to kiss you when you are in front of me.

I can see that you are very angry on me and probably hating me also. You know how difficult it was for me to stay in the same room as you.
When you asked me some files and when I was near you searching for the files, I nearly collapsed.

I was really close to you and I can smell you. My heart was racing and my hands were shaking. But I managed to get those files.

You wantedly gave me more work of arranging files. I did it but didn't realize the time. Though I said to Ma not to worry she was hell worried waiting for me at the door when I reached home late. She thought that something might have happened to me.

I assured her and talked to her for sometime. I went to bed but sleep was far away. I cannot sleep with your thoughts running in my mind. But my heart felt happy seeing you, talking to you and being a little close to you.

Though Siddharth felt guilty for how he made her work that day, he felt happy that he still had effect on her. The close proximity not only effected him but also her. He slept with a smile on his face thinking about seeing her tomorrow but not before whispering to himself........
